The Resteraunt needs to understand the word Supplement! On a £26 set breakfast, £5.50 for a latte and £6.50 for a hot chocolate is not a Supplement. The staff member who brought the bill for the Supplement was embarrassed when I questioned it with them. I would have made different decisions on what we ordered if we were told they were not included. Then I would have to question the £26 for a set breakfast. The restraunt is over priced unfortunately and let's down a good Hotel in a great location.

The food is nicely presented but tasted of nothing, extremely bland. Very disappointing. Furthemore the food is not fresh e.g : frozen carpaccio (cooked on the side) bland pheasant, instant mash..

My daughter has been working her way up the milk ladder and is at the point where she can tolerate most dairy but ice cream is a step too far and would give her a sore tummy. The staff at the pancake house refused to swap her normal ice cream for vegan ice cream without ordering and paying for it as a separate dish. We ended up using the included kids dessert option so we did not have to pay for it but this meant we did not then get the dessert as other kids would. Very unfair. You don't charge extra for swapping to a gluten free pancake or from chocolate to vanilla ice cream so why this?? Other than that the food was pretty good. The crazy rule just spoilt our time to be honest. Whole place needs updating decor wise.

Old TebayHad a lovely trip at tebay would definitely recommend especially the FarmShop everyone was so nice and helpful when I visited especially Matthew who help me pick out some lovely cheese and gave me some wonderful recommendations and Lynsey and Cath that served me at the tills.
