The Palm Restaurant & Grill in Liverpool

It was one of the best restaurants when it first opened about two years ago, but now it wins as the worst. The quality of the meat is very bad and the rice is also bad.

Situated in Liverpool city centre next door to the Mount Pleasant car park. I ordered Lamb Chops with Rice. They provided salad, chutney and a minty yogurt type sauce alongside mine and my husband's meals. I wasn't expecting the portion size to be massive. I came in the morning around 10am so it wasn't busy at all. Value for money! Highly recommended!

Location great near city center, specialist in Middle Eastern cuisine with Yemeni flavour. As atmosphere they have private area like Arabic tent for events / families ( around 20 people ) Food : highly recommended Lamb shoulder for Main , lamp chops for Grills and Farah lamp... The right place if you like rice with meat. - tonight I tried the “Samak Makhbaza” a sea bass fish 🐟in oven with spicy sauce served even with Rice or “Rashoosh” bread 😋

Today I ordered 2 kabsa , The quantity was good but chicken feather was there , I nearly gone throw up 🤮, I dont how i ate that without knowing others, please clean the chicken well before cooking it , 3 days ago i ordered a mandhi from The palm restaurant but that was good , Thats why i ordered today, and it lost my day 😔. I went to Palm restaurant to show the Bill of the food but the shop was not open at 11 am and I called the restaurant, They told me they will open at 2:00 pm but after 2:00 pm as well , The shop was not opened.

Ma and my husband had an absolutely amazing dining experience ! I ordered Grilled whole Fish, Lamb mandi, Lamb Kofta & naan wow—it was an absolute feast! The portion was unbelievably generous, perfect for sharing. Every bite was packed with flavor , and the presentation was impressive. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, also the service was top-notch. If you're looking for a place that serves delicious food in epic portions, this is the spot! Highly recommend!

I recently ordered the Chicken Biryani and Chicken Kebab from this restaurant, and I was absolutely blown away! The quantity was more than generous, and both dishes were packed with incredible flavors. The Chicken Biryani was aromatic and perfectly spiced, while the Chicken Kebab was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Definitely one of the best meals I’ve had in Liverpool City Centre. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic and delicious food.

The Lamb Mandi is the best, the food is delicious and the price is reasonable

I wanted to give less than one star.. They serve old rice with a lot of oil in it , it’s not fresh! Also the meat is black and bad. they increase the prices every day.

Service is Very Bad. They behave they're not seeing customers. We ordered Chicken Biriyani. Meat quality is Very bad. We got Meat feather and told them. They Don't even apologize for it.. Literally very bad.

Some of the best Mandi I have had in the UK. Can definitely recommend their lamb shoulder, it's a must try and easily enough for 5-6 people!

I ordered from this restaurant for the first time and tried the lamb mandi and lamb kofta. The 🍖 meat was tender, well-cooked, and flavorful. I also ordered chicken 🍗 shawarma, but it came deconstructed, with separate packaging for chips, veggies, and meat, so I had to assemble it myself. Overall, the food was good👍.

I have ordered from uber eats and 2 portion of chicken mandi but they have only sent me just one and the i call in restaurant he was rude and rude as telling me come abd collect the food ..

The place is romantic, suitable for individuals and groups. The food and drink are good. Especially the oriental Arabic food. The services are excellent and fast, and the place is clean. The location is close to the bus station.

The food was just okay, but the service was truly disappointing. Although the posted closing time was 11 PM, staff started shutting down at 10 PM. While the last person in our group was still eating, they began clearing the table, asking if they could take away the salad and sides, and even started mopping the floor around us. We ended up leaving at 10:35 PM, feeling rushed and unwelcome. Definitely not a place I’d recommend or plan to return to.

The food was amazing. The only drawback is that the explanation of the foods in the menu and the waiters don't know either, but apart from that, it was amazing.

I visited this restaurant with my family last night around 10 pm. We ordered two mandi dishes to dine in and one for takeaway. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The service from the counter staff and the server was very poor. They seemed untrained and began cleaning our table before we had even finished our meal, which felt quite rude. On top of that, the food quality was below expectations; it had an unpleasant smell and did not taste fresh. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place due to the lackluster service and poor food quality. Training for the staff on basic customer service skills would go a long way.

A Yemeni restaurant serving breakfast and lunch I wish they would add meals for two or four people to the menu, a mixed lunch that includes a variety of most meats, whether grilled or cooked soggy, including chicken, meat, and fish.

Food was disgusting and chicken was burned. They don't wanna change the burned chicken. Not bothered about customers. Staff are rude. Very bad service. Even we paid for burned chicken. Rice was alright but didn't ate much because of this. Had an argument with the staff due to this. Not experienced and unprofessional staffs. Need to get better staff.

A very, very delicious Yemeni restaurant, and the price is very reasonable and considered cheap. I recommend it for meat and Mandi chicken. I visited it more than 7 times and I can say that it is the best in Liverpool. The service is excellent...

I visited today the restaurant with my friend , the food was great , however there was this very short guy on the cashier who was super rude with me and my friend , it will be a disaster if he is the owner of the place😅. He was deliberately ignoring my friend multiple times when he was just asking him for the menu . Also when I was asking him about the check he talked to me with a very Condescending way. I love the restaurant but really this guy has ruined every thing today with his attitude

The food was good and fresh but it was so bad that the girls did not care about the customer's affairs

Omg this is so far one of the, I’d rather say THE BEST restaurant I have ever eaten in Liverpool. So regret not discovering it sooner, the portions big, the rice are cooked so tasty, and the meat are so juicy nothing like other I have tasted. Defiantly a 10/10 and I’m now just sharing it with all of my friends, everyone should give it a try. You’d love it like I do.
