Quick coffee and cake stop but the lunch menu looked very good.

Great food and service, the team works well, and great fun. They now have a fantastic gallery wall full of a local amateur artists' work set at very reasonable prices. It's a must

Wonderful place for a very good lunch.

Been waiting months to get the chance to eat here. Unfortunately we couldn't be more disappointed 😔 I had the ham egg and chips and my word was it a small portion! Even if it was a child's meal it would have been small. Literally half a handful of chips 2 tiny eggs and 3 small wafer thin bits if ham. Absolutely gutted. Now if it was like £6 I could understand but it was like £14 odd. Felt like I'd been had!! The wife had some curry like dish and it honestly tasted like a cheap microwave meal and was really not great. She had 3 mouthfuls and was done with it. Both our coffee mugs and glasses were dirty and made our stomachs turn. We was so shocked and disappointed. Gutted as thought this place would be good and was really looking forward to it. Won't be returning for food again 😕

Enjoy breakfast, lunch or just tea and coffee in the restaurant of this garden centre. Quality, choice and service is very good and prices are reasonable. Tables are well spaced in an airy environment and are cleaned between customers. Highly recommended.

I have always been impressed by the food but was very disappointed recently when I brought 2 friends for lunch. We had stew and dumpling. It was quite late but all the food was cold. I was rather embarrassed as one of the friends with me is a caterer and said even if it's late the food on offer should be kept at the right temperature. We should have complained at the time but they were against the clock.

Enjoyed a really lovely christening lunch at the palm house restaurant today. Service was really good and food delicious! Many thanks Sue and your team for all your hard work and help to organise. Would highly recommend.

This is one of our secret retreats, as much as i want to keep it secret, its a great place to visit, Staff are so welcoming and happy to help you navigate the procedure of ordering. Can't fault the food as ive always had plenty

We had a great home cooked meal here for a very reasonable price. We were very impressed with the food and the service.

We had coffee and tea with carrot cake, which was lovely.

No hot food left at all (2 PM).. very limited cakes. Long wait for food to arrive, till staff seemed to struggle and inefficient. This is despite being a third full.

First time there, good food, sat in a greenhouse, okay!

I have been to the palm house on numerous occasions over the years it has never failed me today I had steak and onion pie and the fresh veg, it was really good, well done palm house I shall see you again .

Lovely cakes and excellent service

There seemed to be a short queue to eat here for the entire time we dined, suggesting its popularity among locals. The food and service reflected that. We ate upstairs and I'd recommend that to downstairs. Be sure to try the SODT sour dough bread and one of the locally brewed lagers.

Popular place for lunch. Quite chilly in there & staff started stacking chairs before 1400 when they're open until 1500. A bit irritating when you've just sat down with your food. I thought the panini's were expensive.

Fantastic value Sunday lunch had the chicken there are the normal roast plus other tasty dishes carvery and help yourself to veg as much as you like it's all self service a selection of beverages in including wines and a selection of pudding staff are friendly and accommodating

Fantastic options of gluten free meals at a good price. I would eat here all the time if I lived nearer. Always come here when I am at my caravan at Pagham.

Nice lunch - daughter and I had a sandwich each. Quite expensive to eat here, we did as a treat. Plants lovely, indoor and undercover outdoor seating.

A great place to have lunch, set in Manor Nurseries garden centre. Lovely fresh food, friendly staff and always a really good meal.

Expensive and poor quality food staff not good and unprofessional. I asked the lady waitress for an orange tango she came back with a j 20 and said no tango but this instead so I said no I want fizzy and she replied you don't expect me to go through all the cans so I said just get me a lemonade. My wife ordered tea which came without a cup and saucer when asked for a cup she came back with just the cup no saucer or teaspoon. No not happy with the experience.

Popped in to the Palm House Restaurant at Manor Nursery for breakfast on my way home from holidaying locally. Had the full English with coffee which at £8.95 inclusive is very reasonable. Food and plate very hot, all ingredients good quality and very tasty sausage. Staff very friendly. All Covid measures in place. Always use this restaurant when I am in the area.

A big thank you extended to Sue and the team at The Palm House restaurant post lockdown recent visit on July 14th! Mum had been cooped up like the rest of us for so long now and intended her first break out of her hibernation' to be a return to Manor Nursery. We were not disappointed. In fact the whole ambience of the dining experience had much to recommend it. We were greeted on arrival and allowed to choose our table after submitting our details for Track and Trace. Our order was cheerfully and efficiently taken and presented to us. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, perhaps even more than previously, and felt entirely safe and welcomed seated within socially distanced guidelines and floor markings. The lack of lively milieu created by the restaurants deserved quality of success was lacking to the extent we felt we were at our own private garden party beneath the parasols, very congenial and sedate! Covid 19 in our opinion has done nothing to dampen our experience of this gem eatery. Sue and the team have worked so well and deserve huge applause for their tireless efforts to get up and running again' with their inventive application and attitudes towards customer care in these unprecedented times.

Small garden center with a restaurant that is nothing more than a large room with tables and chairs, a bit boring, but we did enjoy a delicious tuna salad sandwich.

Lovely as always. Really good value for money, had roast lamb which was cooked beautifully and huge portion. Staff very helpful and friendly and nice atmosphere.

Excellent place for lunch, not too many venues without a "fat fryer" eh ! Great plants too, plus some surprises.

I visited at the end of the day and the place was empty and the staff were busy cleaning and painting to smarten the place up I assume. It's much bigger than you would expect for a garden centre and pleasant enough, however the roof space could do with some serious deep cleaning. The coffee was okay but not great and I won't be ordering the flapjack again as it was bland and mushy. Overall a nice tea room/cafe but nothing to get excited about I'm afraid.

Best place to go for a lovely meal and the staff are so friendly

A regular lunch place for us. They do fabulous quiche that we have with salad and new potatoes. Narrow selection of soft drinks in cans now that they stock pretentious bottled stuff. Tea is loose leaf and great. Alternative lunch for us is jacket potato . There is a good range of filling that also go in sandwiches and Panini. There's always several hot options for lunch for those who prefer it. Demographic is senior citizens . We even joke and call it old lady luncb as we're not old. But it's cooked fresh every day. Seating is plastic garden chairs and tables with tablecloths and plants. It has a large gravel car park as it's in a garden centre. We will be back.
