Tried thier beef & ale pie with chips tonight. Pie was great but the chips were amazing.

The customer service is excellent very welcoming everyone gets treated like an extension of the family … the food is the best traditional fish and chips just reminds me of being a child so good …. And the kebab I had today was delicious makes driving out from bosham worth the drive I highly recommend La fish

Having moved to Chicester, I needed to find a good F&C shop. Having seen the recent rating voted for shops in the area I made sure La Fish was one of five I sampled. To be quite honest I was very disappointed as I found it the most expensive and very average. Fish was served already cooked and not that fresh. There are a couple of better and less expensive options in Chichester. Will not shop here again unless everywhere else burns down

I've had plenty of fish and chips in my life but it takes a lot to serve up a perfect plate of food very much like the one I had here at La Fish. It was so so good with the perfect crispy (non greasy) batter mix and beautifully cooked fresh cut chips. Of course I had to have my pickles and a much loved saveloy to the side. All of this and served up by Yoddi and his team with smiles that made this the perfect go to for my Friday night take out. Thank u guys n girls so much and will Def see u all again very soon:)

The service in here is the best. The restaurant is spotless clean and the service was fantastic. Recommended to my friends who will definitely go.

Ordered online over an hour in advance - still had to wait 15 minutes only to be given cold food. Toxic atmosphere with staff arguing amongst each other before friend of staff turning up to say hello before driving off drunk. Felt sorry for the one polite and helpful employee. Been a while since I have used LA Fish - won’t use again in a hurry.

The best Fish & Chip shop in town, I had Cod & Chips, and the fish was so tender and the batter crispy. They even cooked it Gluten free for me. WOW. Thank u Lou

Even though it's not our 'local,' we wouldn’t go anywhere else! La Fish is our go-to family takeaway. We’ve been several times, and it never disappoints. The fish is always perfectly crispy and delicious, and the chips are amazing. The kids love it too! Consistently amazing food and the staff in there are always so friendly – we can't recommend it enough!

Been my go to but just choked on a bone in my burger which makes me highly question were this meat is being sourced from and the quality control. Tried to call the restaurant numerous times lines engaged or no answer so chose to review instead. Last time il be eating from La Fish after nearly dying

came in for a very large order and they accommodated us so well. we had fish, burgers, kebabs and it was amazing. the service was exceptional. my child highlight was the la burger. so big and juicy. the order was for 40 people and they delivered it on time and so fresh! well done

I was passing through on holiday with my family last week and we stopped by for some fish & chips. I felt compelled to write a review as they were honestly some of the best fish and chips we had ever eaten. So glad we stopped! We also had a good chat to Yoddi the owner who was a great guy and made the experience all the better. Would definitely go again if ever in the area.

Kebab dryer than the Sahara desert, give this place a wide birth. Terrible effort, even the lettuce and onions looked like a toddler had been chopping them up lol give it a miss if your hungry cause you’ll be worse off when you need to go elsewhere afterwards

Remember when fish and chips used to be cheap? This is a simple, basic meal even an idiot can make, but charge full restaurant prices. It's just fish... and chips. Honestly, I could go to Tesco and make it myself for the fraction of the cost. It's kind of ridiculous, really. For the price you can go to literally any other restaurant and get food which isn't bland and boring, not hard to see why these days fish and chip shops are dying out or selling burgers and other stuff on the side. The food here isn't bad, just priced as regular restaurants would.

On a recent visit to Chichester I passed a sign announcing the best fish and chips in Sussex. This I thought has to be tested. Well I haven't tried them all,but it was the best fish and chips I've had in years. The staff and proprietor are friendly, efficient and very welcoming. Must find an excuse to return to that part of the country.

My first visit here, and what a fantastic welcome. I was able to get gluten free fish and chips, the staff were friendly and helpful, even offering to wrap my food in foil to keep it warm for my drive home. Will definitely be back soon!

What a great place. I was visiting Chichester and my friend and I decided to get some dinner from here. We were not disappointed. The plaice and small chips I had were perfect and big portions. The chips were just right and tasted amazing, the batter on the fish was crispy and lovely too. The staff were great and very friendly and helpful. So if you're in Chichester and you are looking for a fish and chip takeaway place then this is the one to go to. We highly recommend la fish yummy yummy

Super Fresh, Super Friendly! Need I say more. Fish was crisply battered, chips were delicious golden brown and hot out of the fryer. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended

What a great fish shop, i ordered online and mistakenly did not order chips so LA fish called to double check and made sure i got chips with me fish! How kind. When the food came i can honestly say it is the best fish and chips i have had in a very long time ! Highly recommende! Thankyou will definitely come back

I don’t know, who voted the best, but it’s totally wrong! First, in 2024 all food company must to wear a hairnets or hat, to avoid hair falling to food. They don’t wear anything. Second, i buyed a fish and was in mass oil, the chips was soggy and not fresh. ( i’ll decide to bring it back, but not did) Third, the price fir a fish and chips expensive, because you must to buy a chips separately with £5.40. That was my first time buyer, and just share my experience. Thanks

Ordered the La Kebab. Which is a large mix of chicken shish, lamb donor and chicken donor and was pleasantly surprised. It's rare you get a good kebab from a Fish and Chip shop (and vice versa) but this does both well.

Chichester Racquets and Fitness Club hosted a Quiz Night with LA Fish providing the food for 50 people. Yoddi and his team worked with us from the very beginning to ensure everyone had a fantastic evening. Dietary requirements were met with no issues whatsoever. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was delicious and portion sizes generous. Very happy quizzers!! We will definitely be in touch again for another evening. Thank you so much!! I contacted La Fish with a view to a fish and chips delivery to Oaklands Pavilion ( Chichester rugby club). It was an order to cater to 150 people ( with dietary requirements) on a busy Friday night. From start to finish Yoddi and his team could not have been more helpful. They efficiently delivered the pre ordered food, all labeled, packaged with condiments and a smile. The food was, as always, delicious, hot and everybody thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely be using this first class service in the future and can highly recommend from family dinner to large event this company are superb in every way. Thank you Yoddi and team from all at Oaklands Pavilion, see you again soon 😀

Absolutely banging fish and chips, so fresh you feel good after eating here, normally I feel really sluggish after such a big meal . But I left feeling grate. :)

Lost a few stars.... I judge thos over my last few visits... not a bad chippy but the standard has dipped. Wouldn't not recommend but I hope they find those extra 2 stars sgain.

Worth the money. Always super friendly. Chips are BANGING! I don't know how they do it but it's perfect. Wish always cooked perfect. Love their burgers. Everything is so yummy. Go give it a go if you haven't already!

Update - genuine apology received from Yoddi. Issue resolved and we will try La Fish again as we’ve had no issues before. Great chips but VERY dried up chicken in the kebab. I tried 3 pieces of meat and couldn’t swallow any without a drink. Couldn’t eat the rest. Two chicken kebabs with two pittas which were fairly dry. Mine had a broken off piece as too dry. Inedible chicken. All for £24.50 (no sauce or salad in that price either). Awful. Used to like this place but no longer.

The plaice was very small being charged at the full size. The size of fish was just over half the size of box with mostly batter. Unfortunately this was not the first we have experienced it. Couple of years back the plaice definitely tasted better and with better size. The calamari is good along with their chips.

I've been in La Fish a few times and the staff are always lovely along with the food being brilliant, decided to order on deliveroo the other day and the food was so well packaged and arrived with me quickly, along with the food tasting good as always. It's now my go to chippy!

We have used LA Fish loads of times for the great fish and chips and kebabs. On an isolated occasion, we found one person's food was missing after deliveroo had left. We called the shop and within 10 mins a car arrived with the missing food. Top service and very friendly. I thoroughly recommend

Best fish and chips in Sussex ! You have to be joking . I ordered over the phone 2 large haddock and small chips , said I’d collect in 30 mins .Which I did , I was bang on time , food was already bagged up and “sweating” The fish which I accept was truly large was well overcooked, dry and chewy , the chips were soggy and some weren’t quite cooked through thoroughly. Whether it was a lunchtime reheat I’ve know idea , but a million miles from top level fish and chips, and especially disappointing when you’ve been charged just over £29.00 which I think is expensive even when it is good! READ ON ………… It is only fair that I continue this review to let you all know the outcome………. The owner of the business Yozi contacted me to voice his disappointed at what I’d been served and offered me the opportunity to return and he assured me I would not be disappointed again. I have to say that it really was right up there with the best quality fish and chips I’ve ever had . All businesses including mine I might add have days when something goes wrong……. It’s what you do about it that counts! Thanks Yozi ! …………I’ll be back !!

We celebrated a return trip to England with fish n chips from La Fish tonight and it was great. Our service from Lou and Mitch was super friendly, helpful, and prompt. The fish was packaged so well for takeout that it was still toasty and delish when we reached our hotel. La Fish is a small, neighborly, and very clean fish shop - and maybe the very best in all the UK!

We called through our order 20 minutes prior to collecting it. The food was being packaged as we arrived which meant we knew it would be fresh. The plaice was delicious and my wife’s gluten free cod was the best GF batter that she’s tried. Very impressed!!

Being gluten free I struggle to find a decent alternative fish batter. They are either too greasy, tasteless or thin and flakey. The GF cod from La Fish was beautifully seasoned and cooked. Our children couldn't get enough of the Plaice, so it was good we had a HUGE portion! Overall, a wonderful chippy dinner.

Take-the-worry away with Fish, Chips & Kebabs supper!! I had a family of 12 getting together for a summer evening in the garden. Unfortunately today I've received a kebab with no sauce or salad on delivery which is not what I ordered. Honestly completely disappointed ordered a couple weeks ago everything was perfect the meal I've received tonight is below average and totally not acceptable. Cannot stand an inconsistent restaurant like this, I'll absolutely not be returning this meal is dry and tasteless very disappointed. Luckily deliveroo refunded me credit so I threw it all in the bin and ordered elsewhere.
