This place is amazing local food executed so so well I also stop here when I am in the local area for work and highly recommend the food I had the avocado toast with halloumi and poached eggs amazing 5 star

Lovely country vibe with a good selection of breakfast options. Don't come here if you are in a rush as all orders are cooked from scratch and take time but it's 100% worth the wait. Top marks for the vegan full English!! Friendly and professional staff - service with a smile!!

I've been here a few times now, always lovely, so time I did a review. We popped in yesterday for coffee, with the intention of having a cake but, instead, opted for the scones. I had a cheese, hubby went for a cream tea. Some of the best scones we've had - warm & crusty, not microwaved soft. The butter was actually spreadable, unlike most other places where it's rock hard. Jam was home-made, not out of little jars, & packed full of little strawberries. We felt we still needed a hit of cake so grabbed a couple of white chocolate macaroons to take home - which we've just devoured - simply divine with sizeable chunks of white chocolate & a touch of salt. Perfection. Lots of lovely savoury flans & salads for those with a less-sweet palate. Service was very friendly & efficient. Small, but lovely, outdoor seating for a nice day. Thank you.

I met with a friend for coffee and cake and we both thoroughly enjoyed the visit and will definitely meet there again. Friendly staff, good cake and on a hot day with the doors open there was a cool breeze. Ironically the wood-burners downstairs are worth looking at as well with all the tools and other related items to complement them. Also lovely baskets in the gift area.

Hidden gem, what a lovely surprise!! It’s really difficult to please my veggie wife and get a great cooked breakfast!!. The Orchard kitchen does this with style and a smile. Front of house led by Shannon, a credit to the business. Even nice toilets! We will definitely be back.

What a lovely place. My husband had full english whilst I had the pancakes. We both really enjoyed our meals. The service was great also. We look forwadd yo going again. Maybe for lunch next time.

Had high hopes for this place. Really relaxed vibe but it took a long time (45 mins) to receive our food (cooked breakfast). The food presentation was pretty decent but the beans went cold very quickly and the bacon was overdone. Maybe they were having an off-day. Dog friendly.

Not far off the A38 trunk road we discovered this. Absolutely great breakfast with top quality ingredients, lots of parking, pleasant views across the hills and friendly staff. All very good and highly recommended.

This place hides its light under a bushel. The young couple have created a lovely space; clean lines, pared back and simple, but sufficiently hygge (with friendly dog). As with many owner-managed kitchens - they clearly care about their quality of product & service - and it's peppered with nice touches - orange flavoured water, aniseed in the coffee bites, indian themed eggs. The brunch was delicious. This is one of the best quality brunch establishments in Totnes-Ashburton area, and deserves great success.

First time here and we found it whilst on route to the coast. Lovely shop and we were delighted by the food although we only had soup and sandwiches but they were all served correctly. Plenty of choice and something for everyone. Staff were also very good. Certainly we would return.

The food is delicious and they use fresh ingredients. Reasonably priced. Am looking forward to visiting again in the future.

It's great to finally have a healthy food option for b/f, brunch and lunch in Buckfastleigh. Everything is so fresh and tastes so good, and the coffee is sopt on, what more can you ask for! Great atmosphere, lovely staff, perfect for a mid week lunch solo or bruch with the kids at the weekend :)

Can’t fault this venue. Well thought out with a healthy menu on offer. Very friendly staff. Food was amazing, lots of choice and as a pescatarian lots to choose from, unusual to find somewhere I like the menu of. As well as my meat eating family. Will certainly be popping in again. Scones and cakes looked delicious, so will perhaps have lunch there next time.
