The Orangery By Sapna in Hillingdon

My daughter went to this place for a 30th birthday celebration. She liked the ambience and the food. As a result she booked it for Mother’s Day - a party of 4. What can I say, a good location, service average but food really poor. Limited menu which is good if the few select dishes are of a high standard which they were not. Portions small and prices above average. Lamb chops starter - recommended by the waiter. 4 small lamb chops - really nothing special. Fish pakora - small soggy pieces of what was suppose to be Tilapia fish (not convinced they were). My main was the their signature Chicken dish Balochi Chicken - I’ve had supermarket ready meals taste better. Starter Paneer dish was above average but the main course Panner Jalfrezi was “very’ small cubes of Paneer in a sauce - nothing special. They don’t have a drinks licence so you buy your drinks from downstairs and bring them up stairs - not a problem for me. I think the private party food would have been at a special request so perhaps tastier but I can’t see my self and my wife returning there any time soon.

I would like to give a special mention to Imitaz, his professionalism and warm nature was much appreciated. He went above and beyond for me and my daughter and made our evening a really enjoyable one. I would just like to say we need more people like you in the industry, who understand the customers needs and are an asset to the business. Thankyou so much once again.

I went to this restaurant with family and friends today for a lunch. At the entrance was clean, fresh and green. The manager Prateek provided us a very nice sofa seat. We asked him for a recommendation cause was our first time there. All the meals recommended by Prateek was 100% good (very tasty, fresh, quick service). Everything was spot on. I’ll be back soon.

The food was satisfactory but the service was very slow. The receptionist was very rude and unprofessional. We asked to split our bill, when she was not able to calculate the sums, she got really annoyed and disrespectfully stomped her feet and left our table without any clear explanation. She did not apology for her behaviour.

Everything was brilliant - the staff were helpful, attentive and friendly throughout our dining experience. The food was delicious (especially the papri chaat and shai paneer). Loved the atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant, especially the decor. Would definitely recommend.

Been to restaurant before for afternoon tea which was very good , booked evening meal and wasn’t disappointed. Got a booking on the day which I was really pleased about, arrived just before 7.30 , the restaurant was buzzing and looked absolutely beautiful in the evening. Ordered lamp chops and chicken tikka mix, poppadoms for starters and tharka daal, aubergine masala and tandoori roti with raita for main. Absolutely delicious. I would rate 5 stars,only reason for 4 stars was we had to bring drinks from golf club bar downstairs and in middle,of meal my husband went down again to buy drinks. However, Very good selection at restaurant of nonalcoholic drinks and checked with staff if you book the private dining room you can bring your own. Other than that amazing night, I felt I was abroad. Definitely going to book again, want to try the thali lunch time menu and already recommended to so many family and friends. Our Uber drivers were impressed dropping and picking us up, recommended to them too

Tasty food served in ambient surroundings with music served by friendly & helpful staff like Iman. The location is within Stockley Golf Club & surrounded by a beautiful lake. However, Amex cards are not accepted & the toilets need to be kept in a state of repair without broken toilet seats !

We had a great time at the Orangery in Uxbridge. I booked a table for 13 for a birthday party and the staff there were very attentive especially Rupinder and Maham who looked after us all evening. They even fixed the birthday cake before bringing it to the table, as my daughter accidentally squashed it!!

Very very good food, the lamb chops starters in particular were amazing. However, our visit was made by the world class service, from the moment we walked in till the end. In particular, Imtiaz was superb; friendly, attentive and helpful.

Booked afternoon tea for my sister to celebrate her birthday. Beautiful ambience and surroundings, really enjoyed the afternoon tea. When I called to book I was given a higher price and min booking, however, glad I checked website and quoted prices. Perhaps member of staff got wrong. We would definitely go again only reason I didn’t give 5 was I was sent a special request email and mentioned my sisters birthday but there was no acknowledgment of this. Week before we went to celebrate my birthday at a restaurant and although I decided to take off my birthday they had already picked up and staff came over to wish me and at end got me a small cake and candle so that would be my only constructive feedback, if you are going to ask than act on it

This restaurant is in the delightful setting of Stockley Park Golf Club and has a balcony attached to the dining room.For disabled visitors there is a ramp approach to the club entrance and a lift just inside the door to the 1st floor restaurant, The restaurant only serves non alcoholic drinks so you have to buy at the bar (on the ground floor) and take them to your table. the restaurant is spotlessly clean and offers a warm welcome in a pleasant decor. The tables are well spaced and has comfortable armed chairs. the tables were spotless and were laid up on arrival. The waiting staff are c courteous and have good knowledge of the food offered. For starters ordered Aloo Tikki Chollay.,Fried Massa;a fish and popadoms. The starters were served along with warm plates. the Aloo and fish were delicious, the Aloo served in a bed of spicy chickpea sauce. The popadoms were as expected. For mains we ordered Baingan Massala,Chicken Korai,Chicken Biryani and Paneer Jalfrezialong with Zeera rice (Cumin rice) and naan. The s plates were hot as was the food and was delicious, obviously freshly prepared and very well presented. The waiting staff were attentive and not overbearing or pushy. For people eating there for the first time be aware that it is northern Indian spiced food that to the English palate seeds rather strong. Only the lady eating the Korai dish fund it on the hot side having ordered a medium strength dish. I ordered a Kulfi (non whipped dense ice cream) but was served a whipped ice cream, something that the manageent need to address. Alsom the Bhuna Gosht is made with lamb but is a much better dish when made as in India with goat meat. I assure thatvthe asian regulars would welcome this!!!!, Te naan was dissapointing also I would have liked a roomiali roti (much softer bread) with my baingan. So management introduce goat to the bhuna.upply proper kulfi.add a fish dish to the mains (rainbow or sylhet fish curry) menu. I would recommend this restaurant cor comfort, ambience and uality of food. I would return and would appreciate mods to the menu.

Wanted to go out for an evening meal somewhere nice! Booked a table short notice, ended up getting late in traffic. Called Orangery and told them we were running late they were fine as it was a weekday (quiet) Atmosphere was nice with lovely music playing in the back ground. We requested to be seated near the window, which was pleasantly honoured. We were severed by Anum she was very friendly helpful with a beautiful smile. My order was taken and when the starters arrived everything was so perfectly served. Food (starters) lamb chops, chaat and chicken tikka were delicious. Mains were also perfect lamb curry with fresh warm roti and naan. I would like to say Anum was really on the ball with service and served us like VIP’s I would recommend Orangery to everyone for a nice meal out or for any occasion. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice atmosphere & decor. Staff were capable; although seemed harassed when dealing with big groups. I enjoyed the food - starters were lovely. The lamb curry & pilau rice were very tasty.

I hosted my birthday dinner in the private room at the orangery. It's was a beautiful set up with a delightful interior and table setting. Food was outstanding and replenished throughout. A big shout out to Imtiaz who went above and beyond to look after us. He showed wonderful hospitality throughout the evening. Anum and Mahum who also served along with Imtiaz, all gave a great service! Thank you for making my birthday so memorable and enjoyable. Would definitely book again. Thank you The Orangery!!!
