Great quality food and friendly service! One thing I would say is that the toilet lock is a bit dodgy so be aware. Good time overall!

Went here for a nice dinner with friends i had a great time food is delicious, portions are very generous and service is lovely. Only complaint is that the lock on the toilet is a little stiff

This little spot is just too cute. It is intimate so on busier nights, you may want to plan ahead. Servers are polite and very friendly, patient. But let me get to the main point which is, in one word... Moussaka. Been to Greece and this was as close to authentic you will find outside of Greece, as the Greek versions I tried had more eggplant. Overall...I recommend this little gem of a restaurant.

The food was average. The potato was undercooked. The lamb very chewy. Staff was friendly.

Greek Menu The portions were much bigger than we expected. Food was prepared for every order. The sandwiches were hot when delivered. Happy to get fresh mint tea, not a lot of restaurants have this options. You can ask the staff not to add any sugar into your tea. Prices were surprisingly reasonable. The tables and seats are not too close to each other. Clean and roomy toilets. The overall environment is comfortable for customers. I would return to try other items on the menu!

There are some simple things that they could improve to be amazing. Service was friendly, but slow and a bit forgetful. We arrived to find our table not ready so had to go to the pub over the road to wait. We had three people ask if we wanted our mains and still it took 30 minutes for them to appear. BUT because of all the problems the wine we ordered was all free. So well played. But would rather no problems. The food itself was lovely. Good size portions and very tasty. We had a lovely evening and appreciate how you all tried really hard. It’s definite worth paying a visit.

Our first dining experience in Cambridge and we will definitely be back for more! Words can’t describe how good the food was, you can tell it was made with so much care and love. We both had lamb and it was cooked to absolutely perfection. Despite being extremely busy the service remained impeccable. Freddy made the experience even better, walking us through the menu carefully and giving us in-depth recommendations based on our preferences. Definitely give this place a go you will not be disappointed

Food was ok portions are large, although my grilled lamb pieces were very tough!! Wasn't lamb neck fillet( as advertised on the menu) for sure! Service was poorly and we where waited for the main course for very long! When we left I said thank you but the didn't bother saying bye or anything back!! Not coming back for sure!

Had been here for team dinner on a weekday. So, the place was relatively empty. Place is suitably located on the main road, so it is easy to find. Food is of sumptuous quantity, and is of refreshingly different taste. Staff is attentive and friendly.

Regret it going there. The food wasn't good, the service was not good either, the servers had drinks behind us while we were asking them to bring us the basics on at the table. Fava was sweet like it had honey or sugar in it. The prawns were frozen and tasted awful. We left the main dishes full and left. Not worth the calories.

We've had delivery from The Olive Grove before quite a few times and always enjoyed it, hence ordering again. Tonight, though, it was really disappointing. The lettuce in the souvlaki gyros was brown, really no exaggeration, I should have taken photos, it was just old and brown lettuce, sadly. We also ordered an extra portion on chips, it's a fair size box, but it was only half full, this felt like a really tiny portion for £5. Shame as the chips were tasty with herb seasoning on. Sadly, overall it was a really disappointing meal. Delivery was in good time.

This is the second time we ordered from the olive grove. Unfortunately we got a missing main twice - ie we pay for 6 mains & only got 5! Not much fun when all the friends have their dinner apart from one! This happened twice so a bit too often! I called straight and spoke to the manager about the main missing, he sent it again via Uber took 25min - by then all the others had finished eating & it was cold!! Shame the delivery system is awful as the food is good. Too many mistakes to trust a delivery order again

My favorite restaurant in Cambridge I had the chicken thighs and they where to die for! The halloumi fries where the best! Our server was Hazel and she was awesome

We had a lovely family dinner during our weekend in Cambridge, both Hazel and Alice provided an excellent service and the food was delicious and portions very generous. They were so friendly with our daughter and very attentive. Really recommend the cheese balls and the squid:)

First of all, the food is delicious. I visited Cambridge one year ago and I had a business dinner there. Because I had good memories about that dinner, I decided to revisit the restaurant in this second trip. This time, in addition to the great food, I had a very pleasant experience with a darling waitress named Hazel, who made everything she could to offer me a great dinner. Also, I observed how friendly and patient she was with some guest next me who had very detailed requests.

Their delivery packaging is the worst experience I've ever had.

We came in late but they were still happy to serve us and the food arrived quickly. Great sharing options and flavourful warm dishes, would recommend to anyone fancying something Hellenic.

I took my team here for dinner last night, (6 of us in total) and it was a really nice evening. Firstly our waiter Freddie was lovely, friendly, informative and hospitable. He knew the menu well and advise us really well. Really nice guy. All of our food was really great, and of good quality. Hazel served our food and knew exactly who had ordered what which I liked a lot. Very personal service. We sat upstairs which was quiet but it didn’t matter to us as there were 6 of us so we created our own atmosphere but for a table of 2 it wouldn’t have been so good so if booking in a quieter day like a Tuesday book downstairs as that had a lovely vibe. I also wished you did chicken souvlaki on the main evening menu and not just for lunch, it’s one of the main Greek dishes, chicken thighs isn’t a good alternative (personal preference). The wine kings for red and queens for while was lovely!! Thanks- we will be back - probably for lunch.

Amazingly great authentic Greek food with excellent service. The upstairs restaurant has a lovely atmosphere but there are quite steep steps for those with mobility issues, however the staff are very kind and caring and can accommodate your party downstairs if required.

Food nice/ friendly staff/layout nicely presented. Reasonable priced. We had been here a year ago and came again and still enjoyed the evening.

Awesome. One thing to note is the mandatory service charge, service was great for us so happy to pay it, although not mentioned anywhere in the restaurant. Other reviews mentioned small portions, we did not find that the car, and I'm a big eater. We had a smashing sharing platter which was classed as a nibble, between us both we enjoyed it very much and were quite satisfied with just that. The mains arrived and my goodness the lamb shank was as large as I would serve to the whole family, the picture doesn't quite do it justice. The veg risotto was tasty, but lacked any interesting bits in, such as a garden pea, pine nut, olive or something like that, so ended up quite a homogenous meal. The shank was delicious and featured some tasty potatoes, long stem broccoli and beetroot which was nice, there was one cherry tomato which seemed to be maybe three by accident as it was solo. But really helped break through the very tasty but ultra meaty vibe of the dish. We had chips as a side which were utterly perfect. I don't think I've ever eaten so much meat in one sitting so we had no room for dessert. Setting and decor was nice with candle light I don't think we'd go again simply because we'd like to try other places, very happy we went for a romantic dinner. The imported beer was tasty as was the prosecco.

We loved the space , the fact you weren’t to close to the next table. The atmosphere was relaxing and allowed us to chat and hear ourselves. Went the last night with friends to celebrate my birthday and absolutely love this place! Best risotreto ever and spanikopita was out of this world! Plus the wine selections and recommendations are fantastic highly recommend anyone to go there

Myself and my husband fancied a cute date night, so we found the Olive Grove and it did not disappoint. If you love Mediterranean food as much as us, this is the place for you!

Went to this restaurant around 2 years ago and it was a great experience, now when i went back it was a disapointment, the menu was changed and food wasnt good at all, poor basic customer service and the waiter also had no ideea about the wines from the menu, quite expensive and not worth it! I would not recommend it

We used to enjoy this place a lot. The food is still tasty, but the portions are smaller than they used to be. I made the reservation with enough time in advance since we were 11 people, and I wrote that we were celebrating a birthday and a graduation. That aspect was never taken into account. Before they used to have a small detail on the house like a desert or something. There were many mistakes during the dinner, which is not the main problem because we are all humans. It was mostly the waitress's attitude. She was never apologising. Instead, she was acting with a grumpy, defensive attitude. I am on a no-sugar/ carbs diet, so I ordered a Cuba Libre drink with Diet Coke. They probably did it with Diet Coke but added a considerable amount of sugar. When I told our waitress, she said, "Cuba Libre's original recipe has sugar in it”. I am Cuban, and this drink doesn't include sugar; plus, I was ordering Diet Coke. Same with the main dish I asked for, not pita bread or wedge potatoes; she mentioned they can add more greens. They removed the potatoes, included the pita and didn't add more green. But it wasn't just me; my husband ordered Earl Grey tea, and he got chamomile. When he mentioned it to the waitress, she said: “ I said chamomile when I brought it to the table”. She probably did, but it was so noisy at the restaurant that no one heard that, and he was the only tea missing, so he assumed it was what he had ordered. Cappuccino was on the menu. Four people from the table felt like having cappuccino. The machine was “broken”, but they could do espresso if we wanted. These are just a few examples. It is a pity because we love the food from this place. But the last three times, the services have been far from good.

Really lovely place. Went for a birthday dinner and all the food was really good and the waiter super attentive. Only bit of feedback was that it was very bright in there for an evening meal, felt more like a lunchtime cafe vibe than nice evening meal.

The Olive Grove is an amazing Greek restaurant, probably the best I’ve ever had in Cambridge.

I have been for lunch with my wife last week. We had to start the Feta Meli, the Garides Saganaki and the Melitzano-salata. Everything was freshly made and delicious! And it went down very well with a bottle of the house Retsina! For main course we had a Kleftiko that we shared, it was very tasty and melted in our mouth, with lots of potatoes and vegetables. In my opinion this is the best Greek restaurant in Cambridge, ideal if you are looking for a relaxing atmosphere and pretend to be on holiday! Great service, nice experience!

This was the best Greek restaurant I have ever been! The food is amazing as well as the service and atmosphere . I would truly recommend as it is for sure one of the best restaurants in town!

This is a family-owned and family-run restaurant, with a glamourous side. Each dish is tried and tested to perfection, ensuring the taste takes you back to Greece. It offers substance and style in equal parts, and a real value. I have been going since 2014, and my phone holds far too many photos. I heartily recommend, because Greeks know how to party!

The food was amazing. Big portions and great taste.

The food was good enough but nothing special. I did like the moussaka, I thought it was above average. But the grilled meat, although good, was the same as anywhere else and did not reflect the above average prices. Service was very cold and slow. The chairs are filthy - I made a mental note to wash my clothes after seeing the dirty fabric on most chairs. Worst of all there was a loud physical altercation between the staff and a delivery driver. That was not necessarily the staff’s fault, but they dealt with it badly, not offering an apology or a word of reassurance to the diners in this small restaurant. Overall I really don’t recommend this place.

It has a pleasant decor and nicely spaced out eating area upstairs. Super friendly and helpful staff. The cheese balls were superb. The mixed meat kofta was a bit too garlicky for me after I had eaten the whole plate. Decent portion of pita and potatoes with the kofta. However, it was tight on the dip/sauce side of things.

Avoid if you have food intolerances. Called the restaurant the day before a meal, was reassured they'd be able to cater for me, wasn't until ordering that was informed almost everything was unsuitable.
