Worth going for the calibre of the wine alone, but the food was delicious too. They were more than happy to cater to my extensive dietary requirements. And the atmosphere is lovely - a smallish place, tucked in on the corner near the train station. Our new favourite restaurant!

Wow. This was our second visit and everything was super delicious. And enjoyed the wine so much. Recommend the cod with beetroot couscous and the chicken swarma. Lovely service and lovely setting and reasonably priced - the 'small plane's are very generous. Still quite quiet here, new place, deserves to become better known!

Real hidden gem, the food was wonderful and varied. The vegetarian dishes were particularly delicious. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about wine and service was excellent. Great place for a drink or meal out!

Interesting menu, though not too extensive - good example to do what you do well. Tasty food with Egyptian and other Mediterranean influences. Great to share plates with friends, tapas style and good wine selection. With meat eaters and vegetarian in our party there was something for everyone. Music subtle, so great to chat with friends. Try it out yourselves!

This bar/restaurant (wine bar? Don’t get it, good wine but no bar or cosy drinking area) We went on Saturday night. It was very quiet. It is very big. It was too light. It has potential. Owners/waiter extremely welcoming and friendly but the concept needs revising:idea of small plates good. Need to be much better. Either too confused or not cooked to perfection. We talked to owners about this. Not a bar. Its a restaurant. Good luck. Hope it comes good. A wine tasting launch for locals and some music would be good. And fix the lighting so not on view to all passers by. Passing by.

Interesting merger of English and Egyptian food, very original. Great mix of wines, especially the Spanish ones. The owner/server was attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!

We went last night with our friends. The place is beautiful, clean and elegant. Very quiet and the right music to be able to talk to each other without screaming like most of the restaurants. The service was excellent, a wide range of high quality wine and the food was tasty and different. We shared 4-5 plates and it was enough for a good taste of different things accompanied with two bottles of very good wine. Average of 23-24 pouns per person which, personally, I’d pay with pleasure to be able to try something different from the boring places in Cambridge where for the same price you don’t get anything but a burger, fish and chips or a pizza with a very plain bottle of wine. Definitely will come back

Visited on a Saturday evening for a few drinks after dinner, it was very quiet considering it was a Saturday night which was a real shame because it meant there wasn't much of an atmosphere inside. The staff were very accommodating and attentive. The wine menu was good but we felt the wine descriptions could have been better, which might have enticed us to stay for another glass or two! We thought that considering it is a wine bar they should make more of a big deal of the wine...bring the bottles to the table to pour etc. Also we really hope they invest in better wine glasses! It makes such a difference drinking a good wine from a good glass not a thick chunky glass. The food menu had some really interesting sounding dishes and we're looking forward to going again with friends to try some of them out! We think Ony's has a lot of potential to become a firm favourite on Mill Road, we just hope they make the most of the fantastic location. Personally we think if there was more of a bar/lounge area as well as the formal dining area with more relaxing music, we would definitely go more often and it would probably attract more people who want to go for a casual glass of wine in a more relaxed, comfy atmosphere.

A wonderful friendly atmosphere, comprehensive wine list with some exciting choices, and delicious food. The servings are small, tapas style, and cooked by the restaurant’s namesake, Ony. I live in Egypt and the koshary and shawarma are authentic and fab. I went with a small group and between us we tried most things on the menu and everything was wonderful. The service was brilliant, atmosphere relaxed and welcoming, wine awesome and food great. I loved it and will be going back when I’m in Cambridge next. It’s my new favourite place to eat.

Completely over rated. The food was very basic and totally over priced. £6-10 for a small plate that I could have prepared at home in 5 minutes. Cauliflower and butternut squash fattoush was bland. Lentil dish was very odd, pasta combination did not work at all. Chicken shawarma ok but not worth £9 given you could have a whole main for that elsewhere. Only positive was the wine which was good.

I visited Little Petra for the first time today with a friend, following multiple recommendations. We booked a table, which is advisable as it gets busy, even on a Tuesday early evening. We had heard the portions are generous so decided to share the mixed meze and marinated chicken. This was plenty of food for two and we couldn't actually finish it. The food was incredibly tasty, with lots of different flavours. The service was good and food arrived pretty quickly, but we didn't feel rushed. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

We visited recently and were impressed with the reviews. We had a variety of dishes from Prawns in garlic and olive oil , Spanish potatoes, tortilla omelette, Padron peppers were all good but unfortunately two large paella’s were not cooked enough and the rice was crunchy. Also the fillet pork was overcooked and tough. The wine was excellent and good value for money. I thought the decor was a little basic and lighting was to too bright. A little more ambiance please. I did complain about the paella but I was brushed away and was told it that’s how it should be! Mmmm I’ve been eating Paella for nearly 50 yrs all over Spain. A good Paella has a crust on the base of the pan this was undercooked.
