Good selection of ciders and food was great.

We are regulars and have noticed a drop in the quality in the last few trips …..however!!!! Tonight was a blast from the past and was so good and the best we have had it felt like falling in love all over again… Fantastic ….. Would highly recommend to anyone!!

Delicious food at reasonable prices. We ordered the lamb gyros, chicken skepasti and loukoumades. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, and food was ready in 20 minutes! Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

I ordered food from Tzatziki last night through Uber Eats. I ordered a mushroom skepasti and was terribly shocked to find some meat in my vegetarian dish (My husband confirmed it was meat ☹️) I'm extremely disappointed and angry at this and I would not recommend this place, specially to people with specific dietary requirements. 👎🏽

Had great food loved it just had a 30 min wait as they were bizzy and sat outside till there was a free table .It was a Birthday treat for me from my Son, he was shaking🤣

Forgot to take good pics - the food is super yummy Had the chicken souvlaki- it is a big portion Hummus and Tzatziki needed salt Spanakopita was very oily but yummy Halloumi sticks were epic Hubby had the Pork Souvlaki - very good So few things - Jan 4th 2024 (date stamped) Food is separate from drinks order Meal arrived with no cutlery with a comment to “go fetch your own” which for visitors to the UK was an interesting experience specially after being charged 15% service fee…….so not sure what we paid for 🤣 Would suggest you work that out unless your local customers are ok with that? P.S. Bar serves epic Belgium Beer

Quite a few options 'sold out' but enough choice remaining for us and really enjoyed what we had.

Really excellent food by Tzatziki in the Royal Standard pub. Wide selection of drinks available from the pub. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food menus on tables and ordered via app. We enjoyed the box meals with additional cheese.

Updating my review from 1 star to 4 stars as the restaurant fairly addressed some of my points. The souvlaki has increased in price more than they've highlighted below (I have the email receipts still), but that aside the food is great once it arrives and probably the best Greek food in Cambridge. Edit: prices have now increased 12% since this review. Lamb souvlaki is 10gbp.

This place used to be a pub, now is called Tzatziki. You order and pay through your phone. The food was delicious, but we waited 20min to get it.. the service was slow, they forgot to give us cutlery, then they served just one of us, 5mins later the other one got served. Although they just bring you food, there is table service. I would suggest improving your service, otherwise food was okay(excluding the salad - some of the ingredients looked like they were staying in the plate for a few days) Overall, won’t visit the place again.

Stopped for lunch, chicken souvlaki each. Good portion size, very tasty, one of the better ones I’ve had.

Clearly stated NO SALAD on my order and it turned up full of salad and not much of anything else!! Extremely disappointed, a rare miss by a good company, half of it had to be thrown away!

Amazing food and great atmosphere, food is a bit on the pricey side.

Had guests over, suggested this place as previously we were regular customers. Never again, could not have the food delivered. I picked the food up, got home to my guests, and what a disaster, the sauce was not there in the gyros. The lamb was on the fatty side, the guests had not a positive word to say about it. Let, the chips in the gyros were chewy and lacklustre, the meat was under seasoned and totally flavourful, waste of money, embarrassing with guests and dinner ruined!

Had lunch at The Royal Standard, Mill Road, Cambridge. Once we had logged on to the pub’s wifi, ordering was simple. We had Falafel and Hummus Souvlaki and Lamb Kofta Souvlaki. The food was delicious and left us full. Really pleased we came across this gem.

Delicious food, very big portions! Even better than Greece :) Friendly and proffesional service (One of our friends had an allergy and the staff dealt with it really professionally!) Very polite and friendly owner, offered us "Lookoomades"-which in general I don't like but it was the first time that I ve really enjoyed them! You have to try dish called "Skepasti" which is awesome! Highly recommend it and will definitely visit again! Very happy to discover these kind of places in Cambridge 😉

My husband & I always drive into Cambridge to get chicken souvlakis, because they are great. Unfortunately, I am disappointed because there have been a couple of times where although I've specifically asked for very little sauce, it still has too much sauce. Today's order had so much sauce it was dripping. It ruined what would have been an otherwise delicious dinner.

A wonderful Greek food service, set in an awesome Belgian beer themed pub. Friendly staff and great options for both inside and outside...

The food here is okay. It’s more like a fast food joint: chips with mains, deep fried starters etc, pitta breads with most dishes. It’s certainly not refined, or even very good quality Greek food. You could easily call in at the local takeaway and get just as good food. The other issue I have is The Tip!! What is that for?? Nobody took our order: it was a QR code. Nobody asked if the food was okay. Literally was just brought to the table. So why pay a 10% minimum tip???? Tips are just a way of either increasing profit or subsidising pay.

Their halloumi souvlaki well and truly slaps. Incredibly mouthwatering times. I cannot express the flavours in this comment box alone. I might go and get some now tbh.

I went there just for a drink met a friend sat outside they have a small beer garden I know it as the royal standard which is the pub name but other name is the food side name , good atmosphere there as well

Very difficult to find this place , there is not actual sign with the name... Ordered 3 Gyros, food nothing like Greek Gyros , no near the flavor of original gyros , overpriced for 3 Gyros and 2 cans of coke just below £40 overpriced. No good experience at all.

App for ordering is a pain in the butt. I ended up thinking I'd ordered when I got to the credit card security bit and there was still a step to go. The switching between apps is confusing and app only is discriminatory

Fantastic skepasti. The lamb kofta is deliciously moist and i have never had better hummus outside of Greece.

Me and my partner love Greece and Greek food and Tzatziki is absolutely the closest place where you can have a taste of the real Greek food! The pub itself and the members of the staff are super friendly and welcoming! The food is simply amazing and the atmosphere is always good! Strongly recommend to pay a visit! 🤩

Greek pita restaurant attached to the pub. The food is tasty and reasonable, with standard veggie options.

Stone cold chips. Replaced without fuss but also without apology. Pub wasn't busy. Everything else rather tepid. Certainly not hot. Maybe focus on delivering hot food to people in the pub rather than the constant delivery drivers at the back gate. Apart from the temperature of the food, it tasted OK. Nothing special. Sausage and chicken skewers were OK. I wouldn't rush back.

it's inside the Royal Standard pub. Tzatziki is the greek kitchen that prepares food, i had halloumi wrap, replaced hummus with tzatziki and it was amazing, really good portion and fair priced. I know that they have traditional yoghurt delivered from a farm.

Food was great. Large portion sizes and lots of flavour.

We often have the chicken skewer or the sausage. Both come with bread. If you get a box you get chips and bread, likewise if you get a Souvlaki. They cook meat very well here. I just don't understand the leaving a tip request with a takeaway, that's the only but, all the rest is good. They are also very fast, particularly if it's not a Friday night.

Tzatziki has delicious greek food! It is inside the royal standard pub so you can have some drinks whilst you wait for your food to be served. Great service and staff are very friendly. Always a great atmosphere.

worthless Greek food mixed with pub never seen that before btw in ordered and I waited for 55 minutes they didn’t care where my order were I had to call them 4 times then when I asked for a refund they said they will give it back to me and that the order haven’t been processed yet.

The restaurant is inside a craft beer pub that’s full of character and lively. The bar staff were funny, personable and clearly knowledgeable about the beers and ciders they had. The food itself was sublime, the mrs and myself had chicken souvlaki. The food was filling and flavoursome with a variety of textures. Somewhere I’d happily visit again and recommend anybody who hasn’t visited before do the same!

I arrived there. CLOSED. On the maps it says OPEN. Came on foot in this cold weather to eat gyros. And it's closed....

Hey! I love this place and food they do, coming here often and always been fulfilled with amazing guest journey experience. This time my and my brother after visiting we was a bit disappointed off overpowered food with seasoning (4*) I had vegan souvlaki and my brother take chicken one, also ordered extra chips and olives and some starters, sauces and sides(payed 25£ each), starters, olives and Greek Sausage was amazing though… …But If I eat marinated mushrooms and mix salad souvlaki I want to taste mushroom, tomato, onion, chips (potatoes) now it was only seasoning and marinate flavor everywhere

Probably the best Greek restaurant around the city, If it is not too busy, you get your food around 15 mins which is nice. It’s not too expensive. They have a nice but small garden as well. We usually have our dinner in here

Authentic Greek salad and great chicken skewer

Portions full of pita bread and the only home made tzatziki with frozen meat.service totally unprofessional had to ask for coutleries and side plates,beers came last without to be opened and the coutleries just graping and throwing on the table by the waiters hands,no napkins.totaly disappointed with the frozen cold food!

It's ok but the ingredients are cheap and the meat is more like roasted from an oven not cooked the traditonal way on a rotating skewer, which makes a big difference to flavour. I am a huge fan of Greek food and I was slightly disappointed by this place - not sure how it got so many rave reviews.

I ordered the chicken skepasti. It was perfect. The taste was amazing. The portion was quite large (I ate half the sandwich before I took the picture) and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this place.

The worst food I have ever eaten. Will never ever go back.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and were quite excited for some good quality Greek, as stated in other reviews. We orded the mushroom box meal, spanikopita, a Greek sausage, side tzatziki and halloumi. Unfortunately, we did not receive all of our order and did not notice until we were back at the hotel. We were quite disappointed to find the missing parts of the meal, which may have assisted in the flavour. We liked the sausage and the pita was quite good, however we didn't have much but the small amount of hummus in the box to dip it in. The mushroom was quite bland with a more prominent burnt taste than anything, which had to be eaten with hummus and pita to remotely enjoy. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, as people who were eating in when we arrived seemed to be enjoying their food.

This is not actually a separate cafe or restaurant, but they share a space with a traditional pub. We ordered 2 Chicken Souvlaki wraps. They call their "restaurant" Tzatziki, but they slathered a huge blob of seasoned mayonnaise in it. Greeks don't put mayo in their wraps! If you want Greek food, don't eat here!

I've been to this pub a couple of times when visiting Cambridge and I just think it's fantastic. The food is good, the beer is good and the staff are friendly. The food is reasonably priced and served quickly and there is always an amazing range of beer on offer. It's always busy but I've not had to wait to get a table. Just get down there!

Found this gem while wandering with my daughter. Warm welcome attentive staff and a lively atmosphere. The guiness alternative was gorgeous and the herby chips were filling and tasted of rosemary.Went to sit outside for a smoke, while our table inside was kept free for us.. and chatted with some friendly locals. Would recommendation to friends.
