Amazing food with a very good selection of Belgian beers!

A very lively pub with great beer (the best Essex beer ever) and a first class Greek food pop-up. Nice staff, nice clientele, what’s not to like.

5 stars as I have been eating from Tzatziki in ages and it’s always good ! Just a heads up about the sausage skepasti , it only has a small piece of sausage, I would choose the chicken skepasti instead!

I love the Royal Standard, but this food took me and my partner out for days with gastroenteritis - so I’d stick with just the beer

Very bad experience. Instead of eating here, you can try Greek cuisine elsewhere. This place is definitely overrated, and in my opinion, the food quality does not justify the high prices. I definitely do not recommend it.

Best Greek street food I tried in UK. we went specifically to try there month special. Everything was so delicious. Cherry on the top was the amazing loukoumades for dessert

Ordered delivery and all the meat was raw in the middle and we got food poisoning !

The Royal Standard is an excellent pub with very friendly staff and the food from Tzatziki makes it worth the visit on its own as well.

Always have an excellent meal when we go. Often busy.

Some friends took us, it is a very nice place with a good atmosphere. Many beers, we also ordered for dinner and the truth is that it was delicious, generous portions and absolutely everything was very tasty. 100% recommended

Food and service was great also the guys at the bar were very kind. Just as piece of advice the pictures on the menu do not make it justice to the actual size of the portions. We actually thought what we ordered wasn’t going to be enough and when we received the food we were very pleased. Flavourful and tasty

Amazing find , the food is absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend this welcoming pub, lovely, friendly staff. We all struggled to choose what to eat as so many tasty options. My only top tip is take a doggy bag because they don’t provide them and if your appetite is smaller you won’t want to leave the leftovers as far too yummy

Wow un hallazgo increíble gracias a mi hija que nos invitó a unirse a sus amigos para su cumpleaños. En primer lugar, el personal del bar era muy amable y acogedor. Me sirvieron rápido. Es fácil pedir tu comida, el único problema es elegir qué comer ya que todo se ve tan delicioso. Estoy muy seguro de que todos disfrutan de esta comida, definitivamente vamos de nuevo solo desearía que estuviera a poca distancia!

Honestly such an amazing dining experience. We had an order for 10 adults and 6 children and they brought the food out quickly and to a really high standard. Loved the slow cooked pork box and the chicken souvlaki!! Not to mention the crazy Nutella Bougatsa!!! Thank you for a great experience and will definitely be coming again!!

Amazing food my favourite place to eat by far

El pedido literalmente tardó menos de 10 minutos en llegar. Muy apreciado. La comida era increíble, especialmente el pollo souvlaki. Creo que este es su artículo básico. Además no te dejes engañar, básicamente el lugar es un pub que sirve comida griega. No te apartes pensando que te equivocaste de lugar, porque no lo hiciste. Tu estómago te lo agradecerá más tarde. Consejo: si vas a conducir, da la vuelta a la esquina del pub y aparca allí en la calle. Es una zona residencial, y es posible que encuentre un lugar de estacionamiento afortunado allí.

An absolute gem of a Cambridge pub with great food. Enjoy the fab range of Belgium or Real Ale beers and an even better selection of Ciders. Order by QR code at your table. Fantastic food by Tzatziki - Great tasting (Falafel Souvlaki & Chicken Skepasti), fair value and generous portions, be warned ! Relatively quiet Sunday, our food came quickly the team were very welcoming.

We had the chicken and roasted lamb souvlakis and the filo pastry custard dessert, everything was fantastic, we would definitely recommend the place and come back again.

It’s a cosy local pub environment with tasty Greek food. We ordered mixed (chicken & lamb) souvlaki. Service was good, food arrived within 10 minutes. Overall atmosphere was great, staff were friendly. The food was fresh and very well cooked. Would highly recommend.

Food was average the first time. The second time it was poor (see photo). Barely any pork in the gyros and no sauce. For £8 you get five halloumi fries. Love the pub but the food is so poor.

Popular and nicely restored casual pub with large range of local and less local beers on tap. Interesting Greek-inspired shortish menu served mainly as finger food: all the items we had were great and you easily make meal out of them.

This place used to be good when it first opened but its gone very much downhill... They can't even be bothered to use fresh salad it was grey and manky as you can see in the photo and the meat was like mush way over cooked or heated from the previous days! Avoid at all costs!!!!

Awesome food, served in a great pub. Literally everyone has having food with their drinks and couldn't fault anything. Hearty quantity with delicious flavours.

We are regulars and have noticed a drop in the quality in the last few trips …..however!!!! Tonight was a blast from the past and was so good and the best we have had it felt like falling in love all over again… Fantastic ….. Would highly recommend to anyone!!

Delicious food at reasonable prices. We ordered the lamb gyros, chicken skepasti and loukoumades. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, and food was ready in 20 minutes! Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

I ordered food from Tzatziki last night through Uber Eats. I ordered a mushroom skepasti and was terribly shocked to find some meat in my vegetarian dish (My husband confirmed it was meat ☹️) I'm extremely disappointed and angry at this and I would not recommend this place, specially to people with specific dietary requirements. 👎🏽

Had great food loved it just had a 30 min wait as they were bizzy and sat outside till there was a free table .It was a Birthday treat for me from my Son, he was shaking🤣

This is not only best Greek food in town, but also the hidden gem of all cambridge. Highly recommend to stop by!
