Lovely little Italian, very friendly staff, made to feel really welcome, food decent and reasonably priced, would recommend.

Lovely staff, delicious food, wonderful atmosphere. The staff are friendly & helpful making sure we had everything we needed- the food comes quickly and is delicious! The food is fresh and tasty - we loved the spaghetti & the mozzarella salad. We can’t wait to go back! It’s a real gem.

We stumbled on this restaurant on our 3rd night, all the other restaurants in the village seemed to have last orders around 7.45pm. We ate there twice. It was excellent service from Chris, really nice food, well presented and tasty. The prices are reasonable and we had two wonderful experiences there.

Food was good rustic italian, just as advertised. Particular highlights were the bread in the bread and olive small plate and the chocolate orange tart. The kitchen was struggling with technical difficulties, which delayed us placing our order, but seemed not to affect quality or speed of our food. We're used to eating late, especially on holiday, and have found the kitchen closing times local to Tintagel a bit of a shock. This place seems to stay open slightly later than most locally.

Great food. Had a lovely carbonara with garlic bread. Homemade, which was appreciated. Very quiet that night, but the weather was awful. Would recommend.

If it was a food review. It would be 4/5 despite the coldish pizza but everything else makes a it one. We rang up at 5:55pm on the off chance of a table same evening around 8 to be told there was nothing. My partner rang up at 6:10pm same evening on the chance there would be a table to our delight there was one at 8pm. On arrival at 8pm we were offered one of four tables to sit at and the restaurant was empty - he had lied to us on the phone to shut uo up early. Food (pizza) was cold and service was awful. He called us pricks and threatened to phone police for saying it was cold. His partner come out to calm him down. DO NOT GO HERE BE IS DREADFUL

100% recommend the Olive Garden in Tintagel..... have just had a fabulous meal this evening, the owner was really friendly once we got chatting to him !!! They are a very small local business so there may be a bit of a longer wait at busy times but the food is well worth it!! I love the fact they only do a small menu and they concentrate on making the food really good !! I ate my food before I thought about taking a pic sorry. Visited here recently as a family of 4 with Adobe in tow.And was not disappointed.from the atmosphere of this small but quaint restaurant to the provision of its excellent Italian cuisine which cannot be faulted.I had the lasagne which I would recommend.Pizza,spaghetti bolognese and the fettucini carbonara which was enjoyed by our party were also really tasty.Service was excellent combined with atmosphere would totally recommend this little gem of a restaurant in tintagel.(Also dog friendly).

We walked in and were lucky to get a table. The food was lovely service was ok the guy just needs smile a bit more. Well worth a visit.

Yet another banging pizza from The Olive Garden. Our go to pizza pasta place, fortunate to live close by. Build your own pizza from a list of ingrediants. Superb thin and crispy base. Downed with lovely cold pint of Doom Bar. Great service as always from staff young and old. What's not to love?

Very expensive as food was very average staff were attentive its ok as a holiday one off but wouldn’t go on a regular basis would cost you a fortune !

Visited there last night during a two night break in Tintagel. The restaurant is quite small but that wasn’t a problem. Shown to our table and ordered a bottle of house Pino at around £21 which is about average for a bottle of restaurant wine. Placed our order. I chose the spicy Tuscan Tomato soup for my starter and it was extremely spicy which suited me. One thing that I wasn’t impressed with was the fact that the sleeves of my top kept sticking to the edge of the table. Not sure what it was but there was a black sticky residue on both edges of the table? We both ordered a pasta meal which at around £17.50 each wasn’t anything special if I’m honest. I can’t remember what my dish was but it was supposed to be a spicy sauce with chicken and bacon. I’ve made the same style of dish at home for a fraction of the price and with more flavour. Also, there were two customers that had brought a German Shepherd dog into the restaurant with them . Not what you’d expect from an evening in a restaurant! All in all, I’d say the meal was average but service was good. One other annoying fact was there was a couple that was sat near to us who were smokers. He kept on feeling the need to pop in and out in between courses and she was sneakily vaping away in the actual restaurant. Not sure if the proprietor knew what she was up to but it shouldn’t have happened. I was going to speak to her about it but my wife asked me not to as she didn’t want to cause a scene. So, if you like Italian food then give it a try. It wasn’t bad, but certainly nothing special.

We had two meals during the week. Both different and there were four of us. All enjoyed their meals. The restaurant was clean, the service excellent and staff polite and not pushy. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Thank you.

Our original plans fell through and we found ourselves looking for somewhere to eat at 9pm on a Thursday. The owner was very accommodating and fit us in as a walk in. We visited tonight-pre booked our table as per the new COVID rules. The food as usual was delicious, hot and sensibly priced. Chris explained there was a reduced menu but there was plenty of choice which I feel would suit most people. We started with very nice Garlic Bread and a bottle of Primitivo wine, I had Linguine Marina which was Salmon, Clams and Prawns in a creamy dill sauce and my Partner had a Pizza -he chose his toppings from a wide choice and had-Pepperami, mushrooms , pineapple and Salami. Both meals were absolutely lovely-Chris really looked after us and we can’t wait to book again when we come down here. We would highly recommend it.
