Pathetic food and service and charged full price even I complained about it. One of the worse chicken roll I ever had, cold, unpleasant and tasteless and almost took more than half an hour to make it ready. Not Recommended

Tasty healthy - lots of great options for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores. Spices were on point. We got the vegan moussaka and a chicken dish.

I come here most days for breakfast, and it’s one of my favorite places in Oxford to start my mornings. Besides a convenient location, the employees are incredibly kind, and the food and coffee are both absolutely excellent. Highly recommend.

We visited this restaurant today for a working brunch. Unfortunately, our experience wasn't great. One of our coffees didn't arrive, and after about 20 minutes, seeing the waitress washing pots, I politely reminded her. She insisted that the americano had not been ordered, leaving my colleague feeling uncomfortable, even though two of us clearly remembered ordering it. Additionally, two pastries we ordered tasted stale, and we didn't finish them. One colleague's poached eggs were overcooked—solid inside—but they chose not to complain. Another colleague ordered poached eggs but received scrambled eggs instead; when they mentioned it, the waitress insisted that scrambled eggs were what we had ordered. The restaurant wasn't busy during our visit, so these issues were surprising. Overall, the experience was disappointing, particularly because of the service and food quality.

Had veggie breakfast, should have gone elsewhere. Tiny bit of tough halloumi, the veg sausage was a spring roll, undercooked mushrooms, reheated fried egg. Coffee good though, and friendly service.

The food was great and a very generous portion size too! The lamb kofte was probably one of the best I've had! Service was a little slow though, but it wasn't a huge bother.

2025/03 Lovely place for brunch with a really nice atmosphere! The food was delicious and well-prepared, with a great selection of options. The setting was cozy and relaxed, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a tasty meal. Highly recommend for a weekend treat!

Close to Oxford railway station, this is an excellent Mediterranean café bar with good food. There is a tapas menu, tagines, burgers, pancakes and I enjoyed a wonderful shakshuka with merguez sausage and pitta bread. The service was attentive at all times. It is level access and there is one toilet. I don't often visit Oxford but I hope to visit the Olive Branch again.

Great value for money for good quality lunch. My son had the pancakes with fruit and Nutella, they went down very well! Service was great, staff were very kind. I would definitely return :)

So I forgot to report this but in October when I went to this restaurant I desperately needed the toilet as iam a girl with bladder issues and the person working there told me I had to buy a drink I gave him the cash for the drink so he knows I won’t run off after using the toilet but he still didn’t let me in the toilet he saw on my face I was desperate and was literally about to pee myself I was not very happy with this as the person saw how much I was struggling but still didn’t insisist to help and as I have this problem I was embarrassed as I had to let go couldn’t hold it in and employee felt like he got what he wanted I was gonna go on and speak to the manger but as iam very busy didn’t have time too I hope this issue gets sorted out so no one has to be in the same position as me

There was a delay to my train so I popped out of the station. Visited the Olive Branch and it was great. Hot chocolate was great, the decor was nice and the barista I had was very kind and polite

Early Monday evening, no customers but us two. Unfortunately, the chef was praying when we arrived, so our one course meal took an hour and a quarter. Food OK. Waitress was lovely, friendly and helpful.

An excellent find, although a place we have walked past various times. No more, if you have given this place a miss for places further in town then stop and give this place a go. We have wraps and they were excellent, tasted so fresh and full of flavour. Staff were great and the bill was very reasonable. Will definitely return.

We needed a restaurant near the station. This is perfectly situated. The food is just remarkable, piping hot and beautifully created and so delicious. I had the Chicken Tangine, one of the best meals I have had in a restaurant for ages. Hummus as a starter was very tasty, though the spicy option is very spicy. Puddings were cakes, very good. Particular praise for the service and quiet atmosphere at 1.30pm lunch. £66 for 2 with wine and coffee. Highly recommend.

Weird atmosphere with a bunch of staff or friends(?) sat around at empty tables. Bad coffee, it almost went in the bin outside except its cold out and I needed a hand warmer...

We were excited to try this place, as we enjoy Turkish/Lebanese cuisine and wanted a halal option in Oxford. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing today. We had to clear our own table as it hadn’t been cleared from previous diners, and the server was dismissive when we asked for help. Other tables had also been left uncleared and diners coming in were unsure as to wait to be seated or just find a table. The food delivery blocked the entrance and bathroom, and some frozen items seemed to be thawing instead of properly stored. Food was acceptable but overpriced, and lacking in accompaniments like bread and sauces. I had to ask for chilli and garlic sauces several times before they were brought out. Another diner was asking for her money back because of how long she had been waiting for food. The bathroom also needed attention. Given positive reviews, we may have caught them on an off day, but we won’t be returning.

The food is good and the frappe is also great but it's a bit hard to get through the tables. The chicken wrap with salad is delicious!

Next to Oxford train station, a nice place to stop and have a drink with an attentive waiter. What seemed average at first turned out to be a good choice.

Olive Branch is a great spot, particularly for breakfast/brunch! I find myself wandering in for falafels or eggs or even just a coffee regularly. The easy Mediterranean vibes make it feel like an oasis in the hustle-bustle caused by the train station. Extremely friendly staff. Try to grab the table by the window!

A cozy cafe opposite Oxford train station Environment: Not fancy, the seats are comfortable. Coffee: There are many Ice coffees, which are rare in the UK. Tried cappuccino, a large cup ($3.8), it tasted good. Pistachio cake: not very sweet 👍 Accessible facilities: There are wheelchair toilets👍

Wow! We came for a bite to eat in here after running the Oxford Half Marathon. I’ve walked past plenty of times but never been in. Service was really quick and very friendly, and food was awesome. Very, very fresh and a great menu. Thanks for feeding some very tired & hungry runners! Will be back.

This restaurant was on the ground floor of our hotel. We had breakfast there. There was English breakfast.

Wow! I’m a big coffee guy, have my own rig at home, and focus a bit more than I should on coffee. Anyway, all that to say that this place blew me away! We had an espresso, cappuccino, and a dirty chai and they were all phenomenal. So much so, that I felt compelled to write up a review - 10/10. Will definitely be coming back here - what a lovely find.

I didn't expect much as I chose the place based on its vicinity to the station. I was positively surprised with sumptuous pistachio cake, decent coffee and nice hospitality. The atmosphere was a bit bleak as it was clear most customers were also travelling, but beyond that this was a pleasant break.

I recently dined at a fantastic restaurant in Oxford Centre, just a short walk from the train station, and it was an unforgettable experience! The Lebanese and Moroccan cuisine here is absolutely top-notch, with authentic flavors that transported me straight to the Middle East. From the tender chicken to the flavorful lamb tagine with rice, every dish was a delight. The coffee was exceptional as well, providing a perfect end to a wonderful meal. The service was excellent, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. If you're in Oxford and craving amazing Lebanese or Moroccan food, this spot near the train station is a must-visit!

I’ve ordered moussaka without seeing the menu. The waiter brought me fried vegetables. She didn’t tell me they do vegan moussaka, when I ordered. Besides that, she was rude.

Absolutely delicious! Stopped for lunch today and had the chicken tagine - it was very tasty. They have lots of Gluten Free (GF) options too which is a bonus!

It's quite an old fashioned looking place. Service was pleasant, but not very quick considering we were the only people in there. Awful music. Not even bad songs, just some absolute awful incidental music. Quite pricey for a bottle of beer. Didn't try the food but the menu did look nice.

Very rude staff, this place is run by absolutely awful people, manager and staff! Super unfriendly. Avoid.

The Olive Branch Cafe is such a delightful, pleasant, comfortable cafe to sit in. I had the veggie breakfast which was great and the background jazz made the atmosphere very soothing!
