The atmosphere and service Is brilliant! Would highly recommend

It was our first time here but Alessandro made it feel like we were nothing short of regulars. We ordered the serloin steak, creme a la chicken, garlic prawns and brie wedges. All items were sensational and of decent portion sizings. He made sure to check up on us, recommend items he thought would pair well and loved our choice in Whiskey drinks. We had a few issues regarding our table light yet Alessandro made it a light hearted situation and found us another. His personality really made our experience feel like we were eating at an old friends establishment and for that we cannot recommend this place enough. We will be recommending to friends and revisiting soon.

I can't help but give 5* all round here, I found this place when I was researching where to take the girlfriend for her birthday/valentine meal. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a kind gent (I do not remember the name unfortunately, but I do know he was Turkish (teşekkürler kardeşim!), we were seated and then greeted by out waiter, wonderful Alessandro, who I must say is a great asset to this restaurant, vibrant, funny and enthusiastic with his guests. Me and my partner were genuinely taken aback by him, it is rare (even in the hospitality industry) to meet someone quite so authentic and lovely as Alex, selfishly we almost didn't want him to leave the table! So a huge thanks to you mate, and hopefully we manage to catch you in the future. The food did not disappoint whatsoever. Huge well done to the kitchen staff. Starters, mains, dessert, cold and hot drinks, all spot on and great presentation, you pay good money for good food, and a phenomenal service. Love lobster and that was one of the best I've had. Husband had rib eye steak no need for a steak knife. Spoilt for choice on the menu. Cocktail were really tasty and not just the usual ones. Highly recommend and definitely go again.

Restaurant Review: Amazing Service, But the Food (and Prices) Disappointed I recently dined at The Oligarch, and while the service was outstanding, the food and pricing left a lot to be desired. Let’s start with the positives—the staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. They made sure we felt welcome, checked in regularly, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. Their service was the highlight of the evening. Unfortunately, that’s where the good part ends. The food was completely bland—lacking seasoning, condiments, or any real flavor. Every dish felt underwhelming, as if no effort was put into making it taste good. For a place that presents itself as high-end, the lack of basic seasoning was shocking. To make matters worse, the bill for two people came to nearly £200, which is absolutely outrageous considering the quality of the food. At that price, I expect a memorable meal, not something that tastes like an afterthought. Charging that much for such uninspired dishes feels like nothing short of daylight robbery. Unless they drastically improve the food or lower their prices to match what they actually serve, I won’t be coming back. Great service can’t make up for a disappointing and overpriced meal.

Delicious food, staff is very polite and professional. We had an amazing experience. They noticed we have a little celebration and asked what exactly was it. At the end they brought a dessert as a congratulation for our anniversary. We were pleased and we will come back for sure.

I know this is a much late review, but as I'm new to Google reviews then here goes mine. I'm beginning to wonder why there is so much hype about London restaurants when the best seem to be right on your doorstep. The Hub MK simply says as it is 'A hub' of good food & amazing restaurants, certainly up there with any 5 star London or city restaurant. The look of this place, well think velour, colours, chic, chill out vibe, ftday nighters, cocktails, dj set, and of course the outstanding food, which in my opinion is outstanding. The menu is hard to choose but when you do your in for a pleasant surprise, and it always come piping hot, no standing around under heated lights. Then your in for a treat after 9:30pm when a dj takes stage throwing out some low vibe beats that just makes you want to hang around and get slowly intoxicated! A must try and way to go. Hats off to you guys you've cracked it. I for one will always make it my special night out place to go.

Absolutely amazing place, took my partner here for his birthday on NYE and my expectations were blown away. The staff were so attentive, friendly and polite from start to finish. Booked here just before Christmas. Terrible service. The food was the only saving grace. It took 1hour 45mins for our mains to come. No offer of the dessert menu. Was told the reason for the delay was because of larger groups. We were a group of 3. I told the waitress we won’t be paying the service charge as we’ve have no service. She (Kay according to receipt) smiled and said “I know”. I’d recommend not going if it’s busy or in a smaller group. You’re forgotten about! Do better!

Been to this beautiful venue on Saturday night the food was the best I had in long time,service was very efficient and professional stayed for the rest of the night for the music overall everything was 10/10

It's such a beautiful restaurant with A1 food and cocktails. We did a bottomless brunch that we felt was well worth the money. The only complaint was a very mardy waitress (with red hair) who raised her voice at us when my friend tried to order the next cocktail before finishing her current one. She was very rude, and throughout our stay, she had a face like a slapped, you know what!!!!! Luckily, there was another waitess that also served us, and she was absolutely wonderful (young girl with glasses). Despite misery guts being rude, I would return as the food was gorgeous and loved the cocktails. Small cocktail list, but that was ok as it meant you could try them all if you wanted.

Feel robbed after paying £10 for 5 of the SMALLEST chicken wings I have ever eaten or even seen in my life! Although they were good, the value overall was very poor.

We were blown away by its interior design. The decor and the atmosphere is giving Christmas vibe! Its classic but not too extravagant and its very cozy. My 9 month old baby loved the chair 😅 staff were very accommodating and polite. Im a sucker for a gorgeous toilet ambiance, sadly I forgot to take my phone and the loo is located upstairs. But it was bougie ❤️ Let’s talk food. Unfortunately I think I was carried away by the atmosphere that I expected Michelin taste, food didn’t have a kick, if you know what I mean. Don’t get me wrong, I couldn’t breathe with my skirt after the meal. I was full! But I did expect more from the taste. Maybe next time I’ll try a different dish. Nevertheless, it looked appetising and well presented. We will be back for sure 🥰

A group of us went to this restaurant due to the positive reviews. The staff were friendly but service slow at times. The food is not great considering the price tag and part of my meal was frozen.

Had an impromptu lunch with the family and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food (steak) and service. It was quiet when we dined but I can imagine the atmosphere is buzzing in the evening. Service was great. Shout out to Magdalena

Good for drinks but would not come for food. The decor is lovely. It's very Instagram. The service was bad. There was a lady with brown hair (Russian/eastern european) who was in charge of our table and was hostile for no reason. She's not suited for restaurant service. The food was alright but basic. They'd run out of a lot of dishes. If you're looking for a safe restaurant for some food and drinks then it will do. I just hope you get someone who doesn't make you feel like they're doing you a favour by serving you.

First visit for a works Xmas meal. Prawn cocktail very good, steak very good with lovely peppercorn sauce. Tiramisu with sambucca shot in bottom different but very nice. Ran out of two different beers on tap whilst there, bot slow on some of the waiting but overall a good experience, nice setting. Avoid sitting opposite the front door on a cold night as a draft comes in every time door opens. Worth a visit

Really nice place. Looks great, decorated ready for Christmas. Staff were wonderful. We were served beautifully by a friendly lady. Food was devoured by us all, 6 empty plates. Bit on the pricy side but good food all round.

Food was awful, bruschetta was soggy and risotto was inedible. Staff were rude. I can not recommend this restaurant as there are so many other restaurants in the area.

If you like restaurants for its looks and to take pictures then this is the restaurant for you. However eating at the restaurant, it’s a completely different experience and NOT A GOOD ONE. We dined at this restaurant on the 2nd of December 2024 and the restaurant was freezing cold. We asked for heaters to be put on and they told us it was already on, what they forgot to say was that it was only on by the front door!! We ordered our food and it took ages to come and when the food did arrive the waitress was all over the place forgetting who ordered what food. Cutlery was wrong for all the people having steak and when I complained that my knife was wrong, she brought me the biggest knife I've ever seen which was clearly a kitchen knife!! Eventually, our food turned up, but they forgot food for one of our children and we waited another 15 minutes for that to arrive And then our food was cold. The service was shockingly poor and not a place we would Visit again.

It was a good experience all round. Powers that be are in control of this life and thanks to a higher force we ended up here.

Came for food last Saturday evening for date night with the missus, and what can I say, the food was incredible, drinks were amazing, the service couldn't have been better and the decor astonishing, will 110% be coming back and recommending to friends and family!

Not the best experience, taken here for my birthday, on arrival was offered a small table next to the door as nothing else available when we booked in advance? then told we could get a drink as a booth was coming free next to the bar, so we stood waiting for a drink, to then not to get served, to then getting put to the booth, we ordered are food and drinks, drinks where nice, i had a cocktail was great, then my food comes missing the sauce i had ordered for my steak and lobsters, there was almost not meat in the lobster only the tail and claw so that was disappointing, got my sauce after waiting a while, as we where finishing our meal all the tables got moved in the middle and about 20 guys come in shouting ordering drinks this made it very difficult to talk, i guess it turns into a bar/ club later, we then had people standing right infront of us making comments about 2 ppl in a booth and people hoovering over our table waiting for us to leave so they could take it. And everyone pushing past, I found this very annoying and uncomfortable made us feel unwelcome as this was a ment to be a nice romantic meal with my wife for my birthday, after spending £140. It took 15mins to finally get to pay as my wife had to get up to find somone.then to top it all off my wife was being sick all night and iv had a really bad stomach, i would avoid the sea food here, so all in all a bad experience especially for how much it cost, the staff where friendly and the place it self is very nice. Before it turns into a club, the food and seating area where terrible. My understanding is this is also part of the Blossom room, but i found Blossom room to be brilliant much better and would recommend going there instead.

We had dinner for special occasions on our Wedding anniversary. Excellent atmosphere,nice decorations and service was great. Food was nice. We got surprised by cake from restaurant. Happy vibes.Enjoy to come back again.

Visited here a few times now. The food was lovely, atmosphere was great and service was faultless.

The decor is all this restaurant really has going for it. Heating did not work in the restaurant. It was cold and when we asked for the heating to be turned up we were told it was on !!! The service is slow and the food is even slower and takes forever to come out. They even forgot one of our parties food !! The background music was terrible too - Overall if you want some nice photos then go there and take the pictures and leave, there are better places in Milton Keynes to eat.
