What an amazing gem we have on our doorstep, Tony and Toby have made a wonderful place to meet old friends and make new. To see the stunning array of Dahlias, roses and flower borders, to enjoy either morning, or afternoon refreshments, and Drinks as the sun goes down. if you sit a while and stare, it can bring peace and well being to one and all.

This is an excellent place to visit. A wonderful nursery with beautiful flowers and plants( for sale). The coffee shop has the best sausage rolls, cake and coffee . My husband especially liked the real ale. The staff are very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Somewhere we will definitely be returning to.

A superb, family run little cafe on a dahlia nursery. Open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, you could not ask for a more beautiful peasant spot for tea.

I’ve been coming here for over a year since I moved to this town. Absolutely incredible with the flavours, quality of meat and ingredients. You can tell real passion comes from them making food. Always willing to go that extra mile for you, and really reasonable price considering the portion sizes and quality. Family owned and run business and they are so friendly, all of the staff are fantastic. They have a fabulous pub too I am yet to try called the dove. By far the best Indian I have ever been to.

We were invited to a 40th birthday party in the Greyhound on the to save us from driving home late at night we booked a room there. On both counts we were pleasantly surprised. I was last in the Greyhound some 25 years ago, and the lay out was the same but wonderfully restored. I spent many evenings with good friends, back in the day, and it had lost none of its atmosphere. The buffet was lovely, the friends were all there, if just a little older! Our room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and quiet with lovely shower to blow away the cobwebs from the previous night! And there is a small patio out back overlooking the countryside, where you would be able sit and have a pint from the bar, I look forward to that next time. All told a lovely little country pub. We will be back.
