Place is always really great and the food is fab. Lady claiming to be in charge had the most appalling customer skills I have ever encountered. I would say she is rude but that takes some thought and I doubt she has that in her. I had words with her and the way she spoke to a couple who made the mistake of blocking her path to and from the bar was disgusting. It's a shame that a really good place can be so badly let down by someone that poor at their job.

Had to return the tomato soup, wasn’t good. Server replaced it with chips which was ok.

Food and service were disappointing on so many levels. Came as a family with dog and you can only sit outside with a dog. We ordered food for 4 of us and it took over 30 minutes (I would say 40 mins). The place was quite and not many eating so no reason for the delay. It was so quiet I could get a drink and was the only person waiting. We had a sharing platter for £14 that is not worth that for what you get. I would avoid this again. The kids had kids meals and the corn on the cob that was still frozen and no attempt to heat it. The pizza was okay and the chips were cold. The burger was a double cheeseburger with bacon, I don't remember the bacon and it was tiny and poor quality. Everything was cold. This food must have sat waiting to be served to us for at least 15 minutes before it came as it's impossible to be that cold when cooked. The chicken wing were rubbery and the chicken strips were very small. To add the outdoor heater only worked on the tablets that we were occupied. While I normally accept this as first come etc they were occupied with a person on a laptop who was using the WiFi and not buying anything, they sat for the whole 90 mins a d bought nothing. 2 guys who came with their own food and drink in a bag and sat watching the football. Staff just left them to it even after I asked for help with the outdoor heaters and was told only the other tables were working. Overall this was incredibly poor and I had to complain to get some of the cost back.. Definitely somewhere to avoid. If you want food it seems the only option is to bring your own.. The only plus was the very nice female bar tender when I was getting drinks. Made sure I got what I asked for at the best price as it's cheaper to add a dash of coke to a spirit when taking a can as a mixer.

Enjoyed the pub quiz this week as hosted by Tasha who is very funny and easy on the eyes. Will come back if she hosts again.

Great pub, and good food. Worth a visit

I ended up coming here with my friends last monday cause i was quite hungry and it was near by and had these loaded fries that were absolutely amazing was incredibly surprised with it and probably some of the best food ive ever had at a pub there was also a pub quiz that was on that was great and they were handing out great prizes for those who got the quickest right answer so even if you’re not good at quizzes youve got a chance to feel good about yourself me and my friends ended up staying the whole night and had a great time ive walked by the place before but never really gave it chance but i can say for sure now that i will definitely be back especially for those loaded fries

Wow what can I say but absolutely SMASHING!!! First of all the service and atmosphere was great here, bar staff were really friendly and poured a cracking pint. I went for the £10 burger and pint, I absolutely scranned the bacon and blue it was devilishly morish, the burgers here are delicious and so so yummy! My friend got the steak and she was also mouthwatering over it. We were so surprised that the food was such high quality considering this is a pub chain but my GOSH! Hats off to the chef or as the kids say *mwah* chefs kiss!!!!!! I will definitely be going back

I queued for 5-10 minutes in a busy bar for food. While waiting, a group of guys queued behind my friend and me and seemed to know this particular member of staff who then ignored us and served them first. Although annoyed, we ignored it. When I eventually ordered after my friend with the same staff member, he asked for the table number. I wasn’t sure, so I pointed to our table just in front of the bar. He shook his head and said he needed the table number, then walked off. I went back to check the table number, queued another 7 minutes, and when I returned to the bar, the same staff member greeted me with, “Well… what do you want then?” His attitude was very rude, as if he had some problem with me, it was so strange. I took a moment to respond with my order as I was a bit shocked. I gave him my order and calmly asked why he couldn’t have waited a few seconds while I checked the table number earlier. He shook his head and laughed, telling me to look at the bar. After this, he went over to his colleague, and they both glanced at me, shaking their heads and smirking. To be treated like that as a paying customer was uncalled for. Despite the food being decent and the atmosphere and building being nice, the bizarre and standoffish behaviour from the staff has put me off here and I cannot recommend this place to others. Why would anyone want to pay money to be treated like that? I’ve never encountered this from a member of hospitality staff anywhere, absolutely bizarre…it was like a visit to Karen’s Diner.

First time visit and to be honest pretty disappointed. £17 for a extremely thin burger and a coke. The burger had haggis on it the burger tasted ok but for the money the burger should be easily double as thick. Probably won't return. Much better burgers in the Westend and better value. Very disappointing.

Was part of a party of 20 so to be honest I wasn’t expecting much oh how wrong was I food was served promptly & was very tasty the Sunday roast was cooked to perfection & the staff were so friendly & helpful & kudos to the girl serving she certainly got her steps in yesterday. 1st class experience well done the Old School House Team.

Lovely location pity the weather was not a bit warmer as it would have been nice to sit outside. Kyle and Natalie behind the bar were very pleasant when ordering from the menu and also when they delivered the meals to the table. Prices very good for food and drink. Will definitely be dropping in again.

Not clear at enterence that you have to use an app to order anything. App want birthday... menu on app did not work. No service person asked if I needed help after 20 min despite few customers. I eventually went elsewhere. (nice building)

cracking place to watch the rugby.

I'm a rugby fan and this Big bar is affiliated with the Glasgow Warriors; so guaranteed to see major rugby events over football here which is frustratingly rare in Glasgow and Scotland 🤔🤭. Table reservations are highly advised for Warriors away games and 6 Nations. Food selection is good and fairly priced with a large selection of draft drinks for every pallet.

just a great pub all round. really well laid out to have a lively atmosphere but wee booths that feel dead private. staff were fantastic - really went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and looked after, and super understanding and proactive when dealing with dietary requirements. we will definitely be coming back!

Bad service and staff attitude. Very dissappointed and will never return there again. My friend visiting scotland, went out of the property for ten minutes during the champion's league game and was never asked if she would return nor told that she might be refused re-entry. The person at the gate told her that she was not ecen allowed to pick up her stuff. I understand safety regulation, but you still need to polite to your clients who might not be familiar with these systems, especially as they can vary from coubtry to country. I also did not shout to anyone. I was merely stressing that the attitude of not allowing someobe back in the shop without any prior warning was unprofessional in by book.

Always good vibes in OSH. Bar staff are friendly and welcoming and the kitchen staff are always willing to amend to dietary preferences

It's a great location and a lovely venue. Only issue is that it gets MOBBED at weekends, especially if the weather is good and the outdoor and indoor seating is not efficiently laid out so it can barely cater to the amount of people that SHOULD be able to be there. Probably for the best though as they hire minimal front of house staff and they're always massively overworked.

The food is spoons quality and they have very misleading promotion in terms of student discounts which if I understood I wouldn’t have come

I stopped here for dinner after a very cold day of playing tourist. It was a nice place to warm up and grab a bite. There were open tables, so I didn’t have to wait to be seated. You can order right from your table, but unfortunately the Sunday specials weren’t on the app so I had to order at the bar. Food took quite a while to come out, and it was good but not the best. Just standard pub food. A soccer game was on, and playing very loudly. Aside from the insane volume of the game, the place had a very fun atmosphere.

Absolutely horrible rude staff! Went in for a few drinks with my friend group last night, after being there for 5 minutes I was barged out the way by a woman member of staff who later told me she was the manager. My friend later asked for a glass of water and was refused by this same woman, after asking “why?” the woman proceeded to tell her to “F off” or she would kick us all out. The woman then proceeded to stick her middle finger up at my friends and I from behind the bar and kept shouting “F off”. Another member of my group was having a conversation and laughing while he unfortunately caught eye contact with this woman manager, she walked over to him and said “what was that?” and he said “what?” she proceeded to stick her hand in a jug of water she was holding and flicked water in my friends face. I was absolutely horrified by this behaviour from a manager. I fully understand people have bad days and other things going on however, swearing, shoving people, and flicking water in peoples faces is absolutely disgusting from someone who is meant to be a manager.

Ok good atmosphere for the game but food and service needs some work, particular front of house. One of the bar backs, an older gentleman who seems to be carrying all the happiness of a defeated army is extremely ignorant. He was picking up our drinks before they were finished and then seemed to take umbridge that we said it wasn't finished. If you don't want to work there, don't work there, mate. One of the staff then threatened to eject some people behind me because they were not standing far enough away from the bar while watching the game. They were there for like 2 mins. It's a sports bar! My mate also got about 12 chips with his fish. Terrible shame really because some of the staff are really good. Shame the more experienced staff are children.

Had lunch here today.Always walked by and thought I would try it.Had chicken lime tacos.They were dry with miniscule squares of chicken.My friend had a sweet chilli ciabatta.Food is below average at best

Heard about this place on the hop on off bus tour. It sounded really cool that it was a converted old school house. Was a bit disappointed when there as just was like most other bars.

Rude staff behind the bar. One member got our order wrong and tried to blame us for the waste....another barked at us rudely whilst we were sitting at a table. Bad experience.

Went in during a scotland rugby match so was very busy but staff were on the ball and didn't wait long at all to be served. Customers were brilliant and provided an amazing atmosphere.

Went here during rush hour with a group of friends for an early dinner. A couple of dishes we wanted to try were already unavailable. Had the lasagna and beef burger along with a couple of cocktails. The lasagna was cooked well but a little too sweet for my liking. The burger was decent and the drinks were great.

Un lugar de temática deportiva muy bien ambientado. Comida muy buena a precio económico, hemos podido probar el típico haggys. Como defecto, que no sirven en la mesa y hay que pedir en la barra. Repetiría sin dudarlo.

I visited Old Schoolhouse on Friday the 12th of January. I ordered the fish and chips with the fried Squid for Starters, I also enjoyed 2 pints with this meal… The service was fast and the staff where kind, the pints where good… when it comes to the fish and chips I’d say the fish was nice but the chips where pretty rubbish and the mushy peas where bitter, The Old Schoolhouse is a Belhaven Pub and the food has that chain pub taste… saying that if you are just looking for Pub Grub it is a good option and the fried Squid was delicious! When I visited it was fairly quiet but I imagine it’s got a great atmosphere when there’s rugby or football on as it’s a good size and has lots of screens… Thanks to the Old Schoolhouse for your hospitality!

Lovely Christmas day dinner. Very relaxed, time between courses. Suited us. Food was lovely, present for the child. Reasonable priced drinks.

Brought my family for a meal, food was delicious and great value - especially the Sunday roasts! Lots of yummy desserts to choose from. Friendly staff, excellent service and delicious food we will definitely visit again

Sono entrato solo per una birra e ho trovato una vasta scelta di birra alla spina e sidro, quella che ho bevuto era ottima. Ma hanno anche cibo scozzese (da provare). Ci sono un sacco di maxi schermi ma il locale non era affollato nonostante ci fosse una partita con la Scozia (calcio). I prezzi mi sono sembrati buoni. Da ritornare.

Great pub with wide drinks selection!

Fabtastic atmosphere. Great service and kind staff. Very welcoming and homely. The TVs in the booth were a nice wee touch. Would definitely recommend to a friend 10/10.

Best sports pub I’ve been to! Lots of TVs, hard to find a seat without a good view of a screen. Good choice of beers on tap, the chocolate fudge cake with vanilla ice cream was lovely. Watched 2 football games in a row on a Sunday as we had such a good time. Pool table was available as well. Super friendly staff. Defo coming back!

My portion of chips was ridiculously small,it wasn't even half a potato.I think I counted 10 chips. Come on guys get a grip you should at least give a handfull not a spoonfull.

Large venue with a great atmosphere, lots of food options that can cater many dietary requirements. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, especially the manageress. We had some small plates to snack on and they all were delicious. Pool table and a table football were available. Drinks were great and a huge range to select from. Very large terrace which I imagine is the perfect hangout spot on sunny days.

The staff here are always brilliant no matter what time of the day, with fast service and friendly on the bar. Food is typical pub grub, same menu as all other Greene King pubs, tasty enough. Management are passing responsibility to staff to get more reviews on Tripadvisor/Google. Which makes both customers and staff uncomfortable.

Great pub with great steak pie! One of my favourite pubs in Glasgow! They do a fantastic pub quiz as well every Monday evening! The food here comes in big portions and the steak pie just tastes so good! The haggis fritters here are great, there’s a few sharing platter options to choose from as well. There’s an extensive drink menu ( great baby Guinness here btw) and couple of nice desserts to choose from. I love the chocolate fudge cake and the crumble. Price is great for the portion! This pub is amazing for socials and footballs, I come here with my friends all the time. Great vibe, great decor, they even have a pool table! Friendly service and lots of seating including lots of outside seatings as well, really recommend this place for a night out!

Arrived had a pint of Guinness till system a bit different customer needs to press 3 buttons to get to payment no to tip noto charity tryed to order Sunday roast was not on due to Ruby pub half full I would have thought having the Sunday lunch on would bring in custom I ordered the bacon cheese burger it was OK but the burgers bacon where heald in a holding oven dryed out food passable but not worth the money. Girl behind the bar great freandly a helpful girl delving food wrong job slapped the food down no enjoy or anything not go back

Típico pub escocés. Ambiente muy agradable para cenar con amigos y poder ver un buen partido de fútbol en cualquiera de sus varías pantallas. La comida es buena. Destacan los variopintos sabores que encuentras en sus exquisitos platos. El servicio es agradable y muy ágil. A pesar de estar el local lleno, nos sirvieron muy rápido. Por todo ello, el local es altamente recomendable

Great big space but still a good atmosphere. Decent pub food and plenty of beers to choose from. Friendly, welcoming staff, nothing to dislike really. Don't think I'd enjoy the outside seating with the traffic but it's always busy so must be ok!!
