Lovely light lunch in Wrangle. Booked late so didn't get best table but still well placed in a safe environment. Enjoyed lovely home made lunches including salad, quiche and sausage pie and smashing cakes. Must have an afternoon tea next time, looked perfect

SOOO pleased that the Pottery tearoom has re-opened, we have missed it dearly! We have visited several times over the last few weeks (severe Bakewell & potters salad addiction, but not on the same plate....) and generally have booked. Like that arrival times are staggered to enable social distancing but did call in unexpectedly at 2pm one day when we could only be fitted in outside but it was lovely weather. Staff smashing & chatty and who knew I need a set of 3 aluminium seahorses for my bathroom wall?! As always an eclectic range of crafts to tempt. Looking forward to tomorrows lunch already.

We called in the Old Pottery for a cup of tea and a slice of cake, because we had been here before and have loved it, we regularly buy pieces of art made by local artists, we walked in at 11.30am the place was empty we were asked if we had booked, we told them no but we only popped in for a cup of tea and a slice of cake, two minutes later the boy came back and said we have no space, really 15 empty tables and nobody at them, Joke well if this place can afford to turn down an extra £20.00 and support for the local artists so be it, we will never return,

I have been a few times to this charming cafe which is clean friendly and good value for money. The owner and her staff are charming, the food is spot on, and freshly prepared. I most recently had toasted ciabatta roll with bacon and brie, served with homemade slaw, salad and crisps. The coffee is lovely, and if you still have room, there is a good selection of home-made cakes to follow. its a great stop off for a light lunch or afternoon tea, I heartily recommend a visit.

We stopped off for lunch on our way to holiday in Mablethorpe. It was a relaxed comfortable little cafe with lots of reasonabley priced craft and artwork on display. The food was delicious and we felt totally refueled and refreshed. My only little criticism is that it was quite a while before we got our food, but there were quite a lot of customers and it didn't spoil the experience.

Stopped off for a cuppa on the way to Skegness and were very pleased we did. This place has a very reasonable menu of sandwiches, baked potatoes, home made soup, toasted sandwiches and home made cakes. Much more than we expected for a small place. The lovely extras are all the craft items for sale around the rooms, from paintings and wood turning, to small craft items. I came away with some original Christmas decorations and some cakes to take away. Lovely.

Went here for afternoon tea. It had a lovely atmosphere...rather genteel. The woman who served us was brilliant; helpful and friendly. You are given a choice of sandwiches and scones. The scones were light and delicious. All in all it was a super experience.

Wrangle may seem like a very odd place to open a tearoom and craft shop: it's quite literally in the middle of nowhere, in a little village, reached via tiny rural roads, surrounded by farmland. Yet I guarantee any time you go there, you'll find the parking lot surprisingly occupied.

Sophie and her Team are exceptional. The choice of cakes is huge, The Potter's Lunch is fresh, tasty and lots of extras, the sandwiches are excellent. This place is a must visit each time I visit Boston and I heartily recommend it to everyone. Although booking isn't essential I just know that there are times when guests can't be accommodated due to the amount of people taking the tables so do book. You won't be asked to leave whatever time you arrive as the table is yours for the duration of your stay. The servers are charming and complement Sophie in her professional, friendly, warm attitude. I cant wait to go back.

Visited the old pottery today with my Mum - we will definitely be returning! Lovely little selection of local craft gifts and the food was great! We had the potters platter - absolutely delicious! We will be having afternoon tea next time! We were warned when we arrived that food may be delayed slightly owing to staffing but we were more than happy to wait. Excellent service! Couldn’t wish for more!

Ten of us had booked for afternoon tea at the Old Pottery and we were not disappointed. Tea and coffee was served almost as soon as we were seated, soon followed by the eats which came on very attractive cake stands. The staff were unobtrusive but obviously kept an eye on us as they were round offering more drinks at suitable intervals. The food couldn`t have been fresher and was very tasty. We were all delighted with our visit and hope to come back to sample the lunch menu!

I visited the tearooms last Saturday lunchtime with a friend for their afternoon tea and was not disappointed. You could quite easily drive past as it is on a main road and its exterior hides the delights inside. Once you enter there are lots of local crafts and paintings for you to browse through and purchase at reasonable prices.

Recently went for afternoon tea here with my sister and mum, We were able to pull up right outside of door so as my mum who has trouble walking far didn't have to walk far. We were seated at a nice table which was very clean and had plenty of room. There was plenty of parking though it has gravel so could be hard for anyone who has a wheelchair to push across. The tea was delivered quickly by a very pleasant girl. There was plenty of choice and plenty for us all to eat and drink. While there we were able to purchase some very nice arty bits at a very reasonable price. A good time was had by all, we will definately visit again, many thanks.

We were advised by a friend to try The Old Pottery tearoom and went for the first time on Friday last. We had a very pleasant lunch and experienced an old fashioned afternoon in very pleasant surroundings. The service was excellent and can recommend the Ploughman's lunch. We will return soon to try some more of their delicacies.

What a lovely little find whilst roaming round the village of Wrangle. Stopped for a cuppa and tried the Bakewell Tart, excellent, the best I've tasted and all home made, it appears they are the most popular in the tearoom. Place is set out nice with plenty of room to get round tables so when it's full you are not on top of each other. Lovely selection of cakes. The owner (I assume it was the owner) was very friendly and helpful, guiding us to the correct road we were looking for. Tearoom has the advantage of a craft centre selling local work so if you have forgotten that little something for someone it's great to pick something up. If not take home a lovely whiskey fruit cake, delicious.

I have been to the old pottery a few times and never been disappointed. I enjoy it's quaintness, the art and crafts are a feast for the eyes as is the food. Portions are large, fresh and well presented. It is not a place over run with children so time to enjoy a cream tea or lunch in peace. The prices are also very reasonable. Always tempted by the fresh cakes on the way out and always leave with a few slices as well as a few hand made bits from the craft area. Plenty of parking, washroom facilities and the staff are the most cheerful I have met..well worth a visit.

The Potteries, Wrangle is so far as I am concerned, one of the very best eateries in Lincolnshire. The food is never anything but excellent! And the staff cheerful and helpful. We have visited for lunch on several occasions and have never been disappointed. The Chef will even make things to order for Christmas, such as delicious pavlova, and their own special Potteries Salad, a treat not to be missed.

I would like to have given 5 stars to this tearoom. Food (afternoon tea) deserves 5 for freshness, variety and decent portions. Staff were polite and friendly, also deserving 5 stars, but I’ve knocked a couple off because a few things detracted from the whole.

We were returning from Skegness to Boston, and looking for a late light lunch, when we saw this craft shop cafe at Wrangle. And what a find. A very warm welcome - even though it was close to closing time and a large party had just left. Excellent light menu, and what's even more important to us - a gluten free option. Gluten free soup - with gf rolls followed by gf warm scone - heaven for my wife. I went for a cream cheese, celery and walnut sandwich. The side salad was the usual lettuce/tomato/ BUT there was also a large helping of their special house salad - again very tasty - and at the other end of the plate decent crisps. This accompanied with first class service, a free refill of the tea pot, and a homemade cookie afterwards - and change from £15. Then there were the tempting and original crafts all around. Really pleased we stopped here - I wish them well in their new venture.

This is a funky and friendly cafe in the centre of Boston. We found it by chance after a long walk by the river and looking for a late morning coffee. Friendly service and atmosphere and well-made coffee. We liked it so much we went back later for lunch and had delicious freshly made sandwiches with a side order of fresh skinny chips. Good and efficient service from young people who were friendly and seemed to like their work. Highly recommended.

One of my favorite pubs. Nice and relaxed atmosphere. Great service. You can sit by the fireplace and drink warm coffee or beer. It has its own charm, just walk through the door and you feel like you went back several dozen years.
