Went in for drinks on Saturday night, place was lively with music playing and good atmosphere.

Great little pub with amazing prices, not your typical craft union pub which is nice to see

They have Timothy Taylor on draught, nice pint and excellent value. Relatively busy we enjoyed our pint.

If you like larger louts and shouty males, this be perfect for you. As a female I felt rather at odds with the atmosphere. There are better pubs around! Avoid

Came here today with my son & his friend,just wanted some nice food,was asked I'd for my son & friend found out it's 18s only & don't do food anymore,used to be nice there,not anymore....

Proper pub to watch the footy at. Great prices and excellent service. Good number of screens and it gets busy but not uncomfortably so - atmosphere is good for the big games.

DOOR STAFF RUIN THIS LOVELY PUB. Disgusting door security! told my husband he was too drunk to come in. He was not drunk. We met friends at 4.00 pm to go out before all the riff raff are out in the town. We had food and then a few more drinks. How my husband could be drunk is very insulting. Sometimes I see door staff being abused, but seriously this one was disgusting and deserves the opposition of not being right all the time. and him abusing his position, even to the point of pushing up against me to intimidate me!! Completely ruined my evening.

Only popped in for a pint first time here but seemed ok.

Good spot for a cheeky pint. Local and pretty traditional type of boozer. Decent Guinness can be had although the bar staff can be a little hasty to pour your pint when it gets busy. If you're looking to watch a game then it's a good spot, with enough screens to watch from every corner. Can get a bit rowdy depending on who's playing though.

Its changed a bit from when i first came to m'stone 4/5 year ago.. Use to enjoy coming when they use to have stark's family band :) nice and jovial with a feel of the community. Seems to have more alchy's nowadays. Still though, there's always a character that finds themself in the ol'house

Have always loved coming here but the karaoke was on point. Saw a lot of old friends. Recommend

Bad servis,dirty hotel room and dirty kitchen.Food was cold and I found the hair in scotch eggs.

Nicely furnished and decorated pub. Very clean and well kept - even the gents toilets! Two cask beers available when I visited and a wide range of other drinks. The prices were amazingly low. Very friendly owners and bar staff. Good to see a pub preserving two darts boards. I was here during the day. Looks like it's very lively in the evening. I'll have to return at some point to try the food.

Recently refurbished, this pub offers a welcoming atmosphere with a lively crowd of regulars. Ale and a packet of flakies costing a very reasonably £3.80. They are dog friendly and were happy to supply some water for the little one. Highly recommend if you want a real pub experience with great music in a clean and comfortable environment.

Everyone was friendly. They cleaned the tables before and after we left. The employees were very friendly and funny. Loved this place ! Will be a frequent visitor.

A no nonsense working class pub, not many left now; as opposed to the Wetherspoon Woolworths of pubs. Just a tad expensive, but thats down to our corrupt political class both national & local.

Just a usual British pub. Tables were a bit sticky when I was there but are there any pubs with clean tables really..

Head here to watch the football. Great burgers and it's always been a good atmosphere whenever I've been! Lovely helpful staff too.

Disgusting! Do not go here! I ordered breakfast with my sister and it is the worst we have ever had. The plates where dirty, no taste and there was HAIR in my food! Black and curly! Absolutely discussing. Avoid it at any cost! 0 starts

Proper old pub atmosphere. The workers come here for a pint or two after work. Good events held at the weekends. Nice friendly staff.

Ein Pub in einem schönen Fachwerkhaus. Im Inneren merkt man den Lokal seines Jahre an. Dennoch ist es gemütlich und irgendwie auch Uhrig. Es verkehrt hier ein überwiegend älteres Publikum. Die Musik wird aufgeht und halt über die Lautsprecher. Es gibt eine gute Auswahl an Getränken, welche wie in Pubs üblich an der Theke bestellt und bezahlt werden. Die sanitären Anlagen sollten dringlichst renoviert werden.

One of the friendliest pubs in Maidstone, it's like an old school London boozer, such a colourful variety of clientele, excellent customer service, it's like a warm hug coming here, always full of music, live, karaoke, pool table, food, come experience one of the only real pubs left and you won't be disappointed with the atmosphere 🤗

A very friendly atmosphere, always have a great weekend in here, and the live music is fantastic!! Great sunday roast dinner i would really recommend it. Great portions too!! The landlady and landlord are very accomodating!! Karaoke on a friday and saturday night, and often a band on sundays!! Would very highly recommend this venue for a great night out

The best roast I've come across in Maidstone and for only £8. Lots of gravy on plate plus a jug on side.
