Called in at the Old Ford pub whilst waiting for family to arrive via train. What a lovely warm welcome from the owners, very friendly with a nice atmosphere…. We will be calling back on the return journey Thank you for a lovely gifts x

Beautiful place to come have a drink. Good locals and lovely bar staff. Specially Michelle the landlady. Who Was cooking food for herself and I got dinner and even something left over for lunch tomorrow. What a pleasure

This spot is amazing for some drinks when meeting family after getting off of the train, such welcoming and bubbly landlady who provided colourings, pencils and a baby cup for my 4 year old sister

Popped in for a drink with the band after practice. Met by the landlord who was very friendly, got engaged in conversation with him and his wife about what kind of music we played, what we liked and he asked us if we'd consider playing in his pub in the future.

Great pub, great food. Hosted our Super Bowl party, had a great night! Jason and Michele are lovely, highly recommend !!

Michelle and Jason hosted my Dads funeral, our family couldn’t have asked for more from the initial organising to the day , we had an amazing stress free day thanks to M & J nothing was too much trouble, the back room looked amazing, Thankyou , Thankyou, Thankyou 😍

What an amazing pint of Guinness, and I say that having been to Dublin a few times. Love this pub, great atmosphere, brilliant staff and the landlord/lady Jason and Michelle are so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended, right next to North Camp train Station, it's a convenient location to pop in for a couple before you get on the train.

Eine sehr schöne Kneipe.Alles ist mit liebe zum Detail gemacht.Die Gastgeber sind super nett. Wir kommen aus Deutschland und waren mit unserem Camper auf der Suche nach einem Campingplatz,als uns die Müdigkeit überkam. Wir führen spät Abends von der Autobahn ab und entdeckten die Kneipe an der wir uns kurz ausruhen und etwas trinken wollten. Wir kamen mit den Gastgebern gleich ins Gespräch und sie erlaubten uns über Nacht auf dem Parkplatz vor der Kneipe stehen zu bleiben. Wir tranken dann noch ein paar drinks und bekamen noch viele tolle Urlaubstips. Wir fühlten uns durch die tolle Gastfreundlichkeit sehr wohl und willkommen.

Great little boozer! Been going here for years. Highly recommend Proper Job IPA. Good crowd down there and usually have live music. Also have a pool table which is a rare find in pubs these days. Locals and owners very welcoming and accommodating.

Lovely, friendly pub. Had an amazing time. Karaoke every week, frequent live music. Locals are welcoming. Nice beer garden in a sun spot. Very much enjoy coming here.

I used the old ford for the huge function room to hold a 60th birthday party. The landlord and landlady couldn't do enough to accommodate us. They were so helpful and generous to us. The room was perfect and the use of the outside space at the back was a suprise bonus. The kids park allowed all of our family to spend time together whilst keeping the children entertained. We supplied our own music however we found ourselves getting enticed into the saturday night kareoke they had on. The whole atmosphere was very welcoming and the locals were a friendly bunch. The bar staff were super efficiant and very helpful to us. 5 stars and above. Can't wait to go back again.

Unfortunately the new management is not LGBT friendly, which made myself and my group of friends uncomfortable. I have been knowing this venue for years and hopefully this can change in the future or management changes, as the building itself is a good one.

Having frequented this pub for many years, it is upsetting that the new management have turned out to be unapologetically LGBT hostile. We will not be returning, which is a great shame as this was previously such a welcoming place.

Was starting to be a regular visitor over a few months, 2 - 4 times a month for an evening meeting friends,, but unfortunately with new management it's no longer LGBTQ+ friendly (verging on hostile...) so will find another spot to meet friends and drink beer! Also as-is not very accessible for ladies with disabilities or mobility issues, although it's alleged that that will change.

This is a great pub, however it appears to be under new management who are not LGBTQ+ friendly, which is a great shame as it was always such a welcoming and accepting place under Margaret and Skye.

We had the pleasure in popping down for a Sunday roast. We were warmly greeted by the Pub landlady Skye which was super welcoming and friendly. Great atmosphere, great lineup of drinks and good food. The staff told me there is a exiting new menu coming soon so well worth a visit. Highly recommended !!!

Second visit for Sunday lunch in the past month or so, both occasions were excellent; warm welcome by all the staff, great service and the Sunday lunch is excellent value for money and add home made dessert all good value. Will be back in the near future. Many thanks.

This is the first time we stopped in. The staff are personable and friendly. This really hit the spot. Very impressive Old Ford.

I missed my train and had half an hour to wait. The kind lady let me get some crisps and a diet coke even though they weren't officially open for half an hour. So appreciated especially as I was really hungry!

Margaret the landlady had a very warm and welcoming personality and was lovely. The bar was clean and well presented had a lot of character. If we didn’t live 160 miles away we’d be in frequently. Keep doing what you’re doing you’re awesome x Gaz and Mike x

Thank you, thank you, thank you to the woman behind the bar at this pub today who served me coffee, sparkling water and made me a sandwich when I had lost my phone. Friendly locals, seems to be dog friendly and good coffee. Right next to the railway station. Large outside seating area and wifi.

I am new to this area and visited the Old Ford this evening. I was very impressed by the friendly welcome from the bar maid, the tasty Wadworths 6x beer and the relaxing atmosphere - just what I needed after a long day working at home.

The new management have done a great job, lovely interior, great food and an open fire what more could you want? Very friendly locals as well.

A great local. Much improved by the current manager and still a “proper pub”. They do roasts on Sunday lunch time, which are to die for, and before Covid they had regular live music evenings. Our dog walking group have had a couple of Sunday lunchtime meals in the past and the manager has been really helpful, opening up a function room to accommodate our group and a load of dogs. We’ll certainly be back when the situation improves and restrictions are eased.
