The Old Bridge Inn in Pendle

Pre booked a table for Sunday lunch. Shown to our table on arrival. Staff pleasant and welcoming. The place was very busy so ordered our food and had a good 40 /45 minutes wait for arrival of food but it was piping hot, presented well and well cooked. Really enjoyed it. Would definately recommend.

We had the Sunday roast, it was amazing. The lamb was beautiful with cauliflower cheese roasties and veg, one of the best meals I have had. Will be going back soon.

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by name and the attentive service continued throughout our meal. The food was delicious and everything that came out to other tables looked mouth watering. This is one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. It’s a small pub but don’t let that fool you. Our dog was also very welcome. We are looking forward to going back soon.

Was bank holiday Monday so not doing full menu, but what we had was excellent. Attentive table service and dogs welcome.

Smashing pub, nice location and reasonably priced beers. Very friendly staff (dogs get looked after too). Check opening hours first! Seems to be 4pm onwards Mon-Thurs. Not sure if food is weekends only. Perhaps owners could update this online, but well worth visiting if open.

Wow what can I say. Visited this little gem last Sunday. The Sunday roast was probably the best I've in a pub. Highly recommend it if your in the area,,you won't be disappointed 😉 👏 👌

We visited on 27th April after booking a dog friendly table via email. We had a large and small fish and chips and a steak pie. All of the food was delicious and freshly prepared and the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Cozy little very busy pub. Locals all go there apparently. Limited menu but good food. I was a bit surprised to see a butcher pie on the menu instead of the chef’s but it was nice . And good prices too.

This lovely old fashioned pub/restaurant is a little gem. 5 of us visited for a birthday meal. It’s only small, but very welcoming. We were warmly greeted by the staff and then shown to our table. Good choice of dishes and when the food came we were not disappointed. Everyone of us enjoyed what we had and the service by the staff was exceptional. The food was very good value too. Highly recommended and well worth a visit. Well done everyone.

First time at the Old Bridge for my birthday but definitely won't be the last. The food was delicious, the service was brilliant and the staff were absolutely amazing and so attentive. Also very reasonably priced.

Visited here tonight. I had the lamb roast dinner, which was delicious. Lovely friendly staff and very welcoming. Great atmosphere.

Fantastic food. A MUST visit but book to avoid disappointment

Limited menu but who cares, staff so friendly and accommodating, food was delicious, fish and chips were fantastic, truffle tartar sauce, and mushy peas, peas were runny but still tasty, other guests had a roast dinner, again no complaints, and one diner had coq au vin, and once again no complaints. First time we have been here and it definitely will not be the last, recommend to book a table, the place was packed, which to me is a very good sign they are doing something right... 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟's from me

Gorgeous food, fab service and great atmosphere!!

Had a great meal here with family. Steak pie with mash absolutely delicious. Fish and chips excellent. Double chocolate brownie, hiding on the kids menu, was a generously sized and fabulously tasty dessert. All at very reasonable prices and with friendly service. Highly recommended!

This brilliant pub has been a lifesaver for me. I'm stuck in a country I really don't want to be in but I've become a big fan and almost a regular here. Gareth and Lorraine are amazing hosts and work their socks off to make sure everyone feels welcome and the staff are equally friendly and welcoming. The food that comes out of the tiny kitchen is top notch an the prices are VERY reasonable. To those people who have complained about having to eat in the bar area, IT'S A PUB!! There are lots of restaurants nearby but you won't get better food or friendlier service on any of them.

Called here on the pub walk. Great service even though it was packed. Brilliant atmosphere. Will be going again .

Met family and friends in the area and tonight was curry night. Chutneys etc are all homemade and family won't eat anywhere else. Will be back very soon to see Josh and Sue.

Fantastic food. Chef made me a gluten free roast dinner including Yorkshire puddings. It was a real treat. Highly recommend and we will be coming back.

Cracking pub. Great ale, friendly landlady, staff and locals. 40p per pint cheaper than up the road too ;o). I didn't eat but everyone spoke highly of the food, tables were full but wasn't overcrowded. Couldnt fault the place. Going again today, just to double check my review on the ale is correct.

A small pub in the village of Barrowford. There is always a warm and friendly welcome from all of the staff. The food is a credit to the chef and his team who develop and deliver food to a very high standard.

We ordered a takeaway during Lockdown 2 and it really exceeded our expectations. Frankly, I didn't think it was possible to produce a pan fried fillet of sea bass, parmesan crusted potatoes and vegetables with chorizo and sauce, to take away. It was still being finished off as we arrived at the hatch, and was ready on time. It tasted just as good as any meal I've had from their normal restaurant service and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

A little gem. Dropped in here and had the Chippy tea...some of the best fish and chips I've had in years. Coupled with two pints of perfect Straw Dog ale! Great value, great service, friendly atmosphere...what more do you want from a local?

Can't fault this pub. Excellent beer well kept, normal pub food, but superbly prepared, served hot and tasting sublime! The staff were helpful, friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was warm with some nice dogs in attendance! The toilets were were well maintained and spotless. I will definitely be returning, soon if I have my way!

Could be classed as my local and fits the bill well as a traditional pub. Good beer, wine and spirits served by welcoming staff. Great place to drop in and enjoy a glass or two! Food is excellent and well priced, just to add something extra to a place that is good already.
