Amazing breakfast and by far the best place around our area for food. The chorizo egg is exceptional and have no hesitation in recommeding Tubbs! 👌 😍

Would definitely recommend this place to anyone! We went on Saturday with a group of old school friends. The staff were polite and friendly. Ollie was particularly good at explaining the special board, many times!!! to one of our group and even brought her out a sample to try! The atmosphere was fabulous, the place is simply amazing! Well worth a visit!!

Had a girly afternoon here yesterday. Couldn't decide what drink to have and asked the lovely bar maid if I could try it before I bought it....she gave me a small try and I chose Pravha. Then couldn't decide between chicken strips or braisedbeef bon bons and Ollie answered me with patience and humour 🙈🤣 The food was excellent and the staff here are incredibly friendly and make you feel welcome. We won't hesitate to return but will give Ollie notice so he can book the day off 🤣🤣.

Very friendly and helpful staff, accommodating upon entering through the front. Efficient service and the food was nice and came quickly. The staff were also kind to help up clean up the juice my daughter spilled and offered a new one.

My mother and I went to Tubbs today and enjoyed a superb lunch We loved the service and friendly atmospshere and will go again in the future. Puts the rest of Colne eateries to shame.

We used to love to visit Tubbs regularly either for a drink or for food now and again, but it seems to have gone down hill over the last few months, service slap happy young staff not very attentive and more interested in there phones or planning an early finish to go out across to the Venue, food in the evening gone down hill and not justified for the prices that are charged, the whole atmosphere seems to have died and a shame really as it was our go too place but sadly not anymore.

Lovely place lovely menu v accommodating dog friendly

Love this place, had 4 small plates for 2 of us, very full when finished. This was from their fab gluten-free menu, I am coeliac and have never reacted to the food here. It all tasted amazing xx

We have visited for drinks in the past and wanted to experience the food service. We visited last night at around 6.30/7pm we were given a table and our drinks order was taken straight away. Very nice wine on offer There seemed to be only two staff and the girls did their very best so I won’t focus too much on the service but it was very slow with long waits to take order, waits for both courses and nobody available when we needed to send food back. We ordered: Tomato soup Garlic mushrooms Chicken and chorizo burger Spanish meatballs Garlic and cheese pizza bread The soup was very bland and the bread that came with it was a bit stale The garlic cheese bread was uncooked so we had to return that and have it removed off the bill because by the time we got the attention of the staff the rest of the food was consumed so we didn’t want to wait for it to be remade. I’m sorry to say that all the food we had was average at best, when you are paying £18-20 for mains you expect a much higher quality of food and it just wasn’t there. I wouldn’t recommend eating there but it is a very nice place for a glass of wine or a cocktail.

The food is fairly good but in my opinion over priced for the portion sizes and taste compared to some other local places. It is all served very nicely/looks great so if you want to go somewhere to get a bit dressed up and have a fancy meal/some cocktails then it might work for you. For me I still can't say it is worth the price you pay. The service is good with friendly staff but not excellent, It can take a while to get someone's attention. The venue is lovely and has a nice atmosphere. Just because it is not for me doesn't mean it won't be for you. Give it a try :) Its always a good thing to try and suppport local businesses.

Quirky pub with a rather audience unfriendly band set up. But the staff were friendly and they sell gluten free beer on tap.

We both had a fantastic meal at Tubbs this evening. Our Steaks were cooked to perfection and the dessert was excellent. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Would definitely recommend. Thankyou Tubbs of Colne. 😊👍

We just moved to the area and was blown away by the standard of food here. Everything we had was exceptional. Service was brilliant. Our newborn was made to feel welcome with finding us an appropriate table and room for the pram. Great conversation with the team who work there and speedy service We will be regulars, good job and thank you for a lovely experience.

We can't give stars for food because when it eventually did come (after a 20 minute wait at the able to even get served with a drink and asking what we food we would like to order) it was given to another table. Dreadful service from start to finish. Complete lack of care. Certainly would not recommend.

My nephew and I were looking for a lunch venue on a roadtrip, we found Tubbs bar/restaurant through Google. Fantastic find! I use a walking frame, there are steps to the door, but they're long and shallow, and the staff were very helpful. The seating area was comfortable, bright and appealing. The tables were well-spaced and I had no trouble getting around. The menu had plenty of choice and we weren't rushed in making our selection. Our food was excellent, fresh and delicious. We had wraps and sides, but we'll be going back to try the full dinner menu! This is an attractive, well-planned space, with friendly, helpful and well-informed staff and exceptional food. Highly recommended.

First time visiting and we went for a work/not work Christmas do. One of the others who attended had booked the table and the festive buffet. Oh boy was the food good! There was so much of the food aswell that we could have easily fed another 5 people. So much so a lot of us took boxes home stuffed full of the food! Drinks were great if a little pricey and the atmosphere was Brill.

Recently had a Christmas buffet here with a group of friends, the food was very nice and the place is lovely.

My wife and I came from Liverpool to visit our daughter in Colne and visited on Tuesday. The prices are a little bit expensive but I have to say the food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and professional also the restaurant was nice and cosy as it was very cold outside. We would certainly visit again.

Been several times now & always good. Selection of good beer (today Hen Harrier) & interesting menu well presented. A nice treat place to visit.

I regularly come here and I love it. It's great to have just a drink and I particularly enjoy coming for breakfast. I use it a lot for work meetings too and it's a great. Highly reccomend the tubbs sausage muffin for breakfast and their fresh orange juice.

We both had the full English breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

We have been to Tub’s about 5 times now, and always we leave with mixed feelings. One thing is constant though, at any a time when the weather is cold, then Tub’s is so cold we keep our coats on. Our last visit was again so cold, despite dressing in warm clothing we kept our coats on. I spoke to a young lady and she said she would turn the heating on, but the radiators across from us was cold throughout our stay, and there is a back door that is used by staff that was constantly opening and closing making matters worse, a heater above that door would make a huge difference there. I later commented to another staff member re the cold, and was told they had remarked how cold it was when they came to work and were told it’ll be ok when more people come in, so that’s how the place in heated then, body warmth? We ordered a bottle of wine, and we were told it was not at the correct temperature, so we were given a lovely glass of Sauvignon blanc gratis as we waited for the bottle to cool. We ordered our food, battered prawns for him and soup for me, followed by rump steak and frites, and the Porcus Pizza for myself. I asked that my pizza was well done, it’s always the way I have pizza. The soup was wonderful, I was slightly surprised it was accompanied by thinly sliced bread and butter so cold it was solid, and the prawns my husband had were more batter than prawn. My pizza arrived pale and slightly doughy, even my daughter remarked it looked pale when I sent her a picture, though it was nice enough. The rump steak was cooked are requested, medium but had been so well rested that it was only lukewarm, though the frites were lovely and hot and crisp. However, because we were so cold, we decided to get the bill and order a taxi home. The staff member who delivered the bill asked us how things had been for us, and I did tell her about the prawns and the pizza, and again reiterated that were were very cold. I cannot fault the staff, they are pleasant and friendly, but it really is that last time we will visit Tub’s as the main dining area is a large room with very high ceiling but it seems the proprietor is not keen to heat it, as every time we have been in the colder seasons, we have been freezing.

3 of us visited today after I found it on Google we had been to boundary mill and I for one needed food and a beverage. Good menu selection along with specials and a good drinks menu also. I had a pint on bread and butter something or other very nice. Food wise I had the burger with the extra bacon and cheese because why wouldn't you. The wife had a BLT and we both asked for garlic mayo for our chips. Food was very good served with a smile and all hot the mayo more like a homemade alioli very nice but defo for the garlic lover. Mother in law had a courgette and thyme soup, all well presented. I finished with a black coffee which I have to say was one of the best I've had in a restaurant bar ever. Hot and strong in a good sized cup (not a bowl, I hate those things coffee goes cold way too quickly) So if your in the area give it a go friendly smiling staff great food and drink in nice surroundings.

Two key points of any amazing restaurant is: great choice of food and great staff. This place has got both!! We will definitely be returning! Tubs of Colne is a must visit!

Had a lovely meal. Everything tasted so fresh, and the tempura batter was perfect. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, however Tommy really went out of his way and was the life and soul of the place.

What a hidden gem 💎 Food - absolutely delicious. We had the spicy pizza and peri chips. Homemade quality food. Service - the manager and his staff are so polite and helpful. Reasonably priced too. Will definitely visit again when we are in the area as we are not local to Colne. Thanks so much.

Very friendly staff that were very warm and welcoming and an absolutely incredible starter followed by an equally incredible meal and topped with an amazing desert. One of the best places I have ever eaten out at.

Had the chicken on the specials my granddaughter had the steak her boyfriend had the scotch eggs and pizza all excellent 👍

Very noisy at left hand side so difficult to hear what friends were saying but the food and service were very good with a good choice to suit all.

We went here this morning for breakfast and it was absolutely superb. Really friendly and professional service service and the food was delicious and plentiful- we could tell they use top quality products. It might appear a little pricey at first but you definitely get what you pay for and once the food arrived we knew it was worth every penny. The cakes in the shop next door (part of the same business) also looked lovely so will definitely be going back! Would highly recommend.

Group of 20 of us had a fantastic meal last night. From start to finish everything was so easy making sure we just enjoyed our night. We did pre order (with options off special menu), and the food came out with perfect timing and no long waits amongst the group (which you often get when you’re in a large group - but not at Tubbs!). The food was absolutely delicious, and service was second to none, they really are a great team down there, and special shout out to Ollie, who ensured that every need was catered for, and that the night was just perfect!
