The Old Bell in Gloucester

Had the £7.95 meal deal, food was tasty, the seasoned fries are still tingling on my lips. Service was great. Sat outside as a nice day, let down by the amount of litter in the bushes. Probably more to do with lazy people leaving it on tables rather than putting in a bin. Still it needs regular attention to look presentable. Otherwise a 5 star, much tastier than a certain other chain.

I’ve seen more appetising dog food. There’s a part of me that thinks the food comes from the sluices from the rest of the hospital, but it’s not even that good. I worked here for a few years and after travelling the world and trying some questionable food, fosters in Gloucester hospital is by far and away the worst food I have ever tried. Unfortunately they prey on the desperate, so bring sandwiches from home, or if you want an accurate and cheaper alternative to fosters, eat directly out of a wheely bin in the car park. The coffee comes from a machine so that’s ok, just expensive for what it is.

I have been going there for several years. The chips were warmed up and hard could not eat them, the fish and mini fish seemed warmed up and hard Will not be going back. We went at 5.40pm on a Saturday night.

This is the best fried chicken shop with 5 star hygiene rating.
