Absolutely amazing cafe 😍 from the lady who greeted us, who I presume was the owner. The waitresses were all very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. And then there was the food which was absolutely devine! All cooked fresh and exactly how you want it. I took my elderly parents who don't eat a great deal and we asked the lady taking our order if it was possible to have a mushroom omelette (which wasn't on the menu) and she said that wouldn't be a problem. My son and I both had the fish cakes off the special board which were delicious and we would definitely recommend them! In fact this was our third visit to this little gem and I can honestly say that all the food that we have had has been really good and we would definitely recommend a visit!!

Just had lunch here. Lovely food, lovely covered outdoor seating area as well as indoor. And you can either in eat or takeaway. Will definitely go again.

Great staff.nice meal at cost.but liked it a lot

Busy, busy, busy. Driven past more or less every day since moving to Congleton and it is always packed when open. Finally got to go for a Father’s Day treat and an all too rare bacon butty. Blown away. Quite simply the best I have ever had and I am getting on a bit. The bread roll was something else, bacon done just right and a requested poached egg…perfect. All too easy to see why it is always so busy. Lovely staff, delicious food. Will definitely be regulars now.

Very nice cafe, service is very good, with polite attentive staff, food was nice, hard to give a rossette to a ham and cheese toasty but it was very nice and the veggy sausage Bap went down well too.

Only had icecream for the kid's and afternoon tea but it was lovely and the person who served us was great with kids definitely go back

We called in to The Old Barn after having a spa session at Escape, and we were very impressed with the food and service. I had the Rump steak sandwich and ordered a portion of the salt and pepper chips. These were outstanding. The staff were really friendly. We will definitely be coming again regularly.

My favourite place to have coffee and cake ,breakfast or lunch .Amazing home cooked ,delicious food which never disappoints .I love meeting my friends here as there is such a warm ,welcoming service from Erica and her staff . Perfect cafe ,well worth a visit

Had a cream cheese bagel which was very nice! My wife had a breakfast and the egg was cooked perfect, hard to get that anywhere else, but The Old Barn nailed it. Staff are friendly and on the ball.

Go here very often and always enjoy sitting outside with family and friends, even in the cold (there are heaters). It's a charming environment to enjoy a good breakfast and coffee.

Just had the Turkey Xmas dinner here , OMG .... it was absolutely perfect 🥰 💞 better than every other roast dinner I've had out EVER . The staff were wonderful, it Was absolutely amazing .

Christmas lunch yesterday - amazing! Can’t fault it - the food was so tasty and fresh. Service was excellent too.

We called for ice cream and coffee, quite near to closing, although I didn't realise that. The staff were very polite and helpful. The cafe is very tastefully decorated and set out and I'll definitely be calling for a meal in the very near future.

What a lovely place ! It has retained the old barn character but with comfortable seating and all spotlessly clean. The staff were really friendly and the bacon sandwich was the tastiest I have ever had. I would travel a long way to visit and enjoy the food and coffee. Thank you all.

Delicious food. Obviously very popular. Visited on recommendation in Sawday's 'The Extra Mile'. Very noisy acoustically inside as carpet doesn't deaden sound sufficiently so large groups talking and clattering of plates carry.

Stopped here a few times now whilst out cycling. Most recently on a commemorative ride and there was a lot of us rocking up at the same time. Great service from the staff who were busy enough as it was. Lovely food and a neat place with a nice atmosphere. We'll be back.

Have been here before and thoroughly enjoyed the experience so took a friend for brunch today. Lovely welcome and friendly attentive staff. Staff very flexible to ensure you can add favourites to advertised dishes, tea always topped up on request and general atmosphere cosy . Food was excellently presented and tasty. You know they take care when your poached eggs are done to perfection. Highly recommend this friendly cafe for an enjoyable experience with great food.

I have had lunch here so many times over the last couple of years I thought it was time to leave a review. We are so lucky to have this cafe, the food is always outstanding, the service is second to none and the atmosphere is a perfect blend of cosy and friendly. I couldn’t praise the staff enough, they always strive not only to offer the best food and drink, but also the best service to go with it. A particular highlight is the top quality dishes on the specials board, it never fails to hit the spot.

Great cafe which cannot be beaten for quality. Visit the Old Barn weekly for my lunch when working from home, sure there are alot cheaper cafes, alot closer to home but when you find something this good you keep going back.

Just had a full English Breakfast here. It was top notch. The produce used was of the highest quality and cooked and presented perfectly. The Service was excellent and the little tweaks we requested to the meals we had, was no problem at all. I definitely recommend for great food and service in a great location! 👍

Great little cafe with parking and indoor/outdoor seating, tasty food and friendly staff. Only critique is maybe the food took a little long to arrive, completely finished the coffee before it got to us.

Great Cafe we arrived by bicycles had our food and coffees then a very nice lady asked us if we would like some water to keep us hydrated, nice gesture much appreciated.

A lovely location. Personally I found the flat white to be more on the 'burnt' side and the carrot cake a little dry however it was a pitstop and I haven't tried the rest of the menu.

Fantastic and tasty food, I had the vegetarian breakfast and the plate for full of food. My partner had the Asparagus and poached eggs on Bloomer with Salmon, that was amazing. Will need to come back again soon after United have beaten City in the FA Cup final 😀.

Went today and had eggs Florentine and my wife had veggie sausages on a bap it was beautiful, one of the best egg Florentines I've had. The staff are super friendly. I will be going again in the future

The girls were so busy but so accommodating for 10 of us who cycled across from Liverpool. Coffee was fantastic, sausage sarnie, the best in the north west. Swoon.

Stopped here for coffee and cake whilst passing through on deliveries for the gallery. Easy to find on the main road with easy parking at the front. Two decaf lattes along with a piece of carrot cake and a slice of hummingbird cake £9.80 so excellent value and both cakes were delicious! (I would rather have the napkin separate from the cake though - so I can use it as a napkin if needed) Highly recommended, thank you :)
