Such a friendly and welcoming pub. We had our Company summer bash here. The food was fabulous and the atmosphere was brilliant. Thank you for a great night.

Lovely staff, lovely and well maintained draft beers, with a wide variety to choose from. The land lady is really welcoming and always has a smile on her face along with the girls behind the bar. Friendly faces are always spotted when entering!! TVs are always playing with sports or tv shows great for people who are solo drinking, or eating one of the amazing baps from behind the bar, with a 5 star hygiene rating aswell which is a plus. Get yourself over there you won’t regret it 👍🏽

A great traditional pub, with a good range of cask and draught beers, friendly staff and friendly ⁴qcustomers. Entertainment is often put on in the pub and sometimes out in the large beer garden. Well worth the short walk from the town centre.

This place goes from strength to strength, a real community hub and without doubt the best pub in the town. Cheapest beer in the town, sports on tap on the tvs and a huge beautiful beer garden which is a hidden gem. Long may it continue.

A 'Tardis' indeed. From the cosy front rooms (Lounge and Tap) the facilities extend outside to a large beer garden and covered patio area. A 'must visit' for a trip to remember and return to. Lovely landlady, Emma, who has lived in the town for ages and knows exactly what both the locals and welcome visitors are looking for. This place has had it's ups and downs over the years but while Emma stays the only way is UP!

Little Pub with packed with surprises! Just out of Knutsford Town centre (5 minute walk) this Hidden Gem has something for everyone. On a hot summer evening with the sun setting traditional pub benches sit on the old cobbles for anyone to relax and sample their tipple of choice. Moving inside chose between the lounge bar to the right or the tap room on the left both exceling with friendly vibe offering great beers (cask and keg), a selection of great wines and an extensive selection of both spirits and soft drinks. For anyone wishing more, walk through to the back where a large beer garden awaits, complete with covered seated decking area (heated) to be complimented with an enclosed lawned garden and planted out borders together with play area for future drinkers. Regular evening entertainment includes: Poker (Monday), Quiz nights (Thursdays, monthly) and music evenings (check web for details) plus various outside weekend events throughout the summer. A known secret for locals and a MUST for visitors wanting a warm welcome. After years of just drifting (and COVID!) with Emma in situ it seems the only way is up.

Love this place, it's now my go to pub. Emma has done an amazing job in the past year, she has brought this little gem to life. Quizz night was amazing. The quiz master was hilarious and took the heckling and threw it back with great gusto. Quizz was great and the pub was packed. Entry was by a bag of warm clothes for the homeless, such a great idea. Box of celebrations on the bar at the end of the night was just what we needed after laughing so much. Can't wait for the next one on NYE. Next visit is on the 9th Dec for her anniversary party. No food yet but bbq's in the summer 🌞⛱️ Well done Emma, keep on going. Looking forward to many garden parties next summer 😁

I’ve been here a number of times now and each time has been lovely. I discovered the pub in summer as was told about its large private beer garden which is secure for both dogs and children trying to escape! Emma the land lady is so welcoming, and has a great team. The pub quiz on a Thursday is well worth a look and 1/2 time snacks are put on. I think I’ve found my new local…..

I live in Sydney, Australia but lived most of my teenage years in and around Knutsford. The Builders was a favourite haunt of mine and on a recent sad trip to the UK to say goodbye to mum and dad who lived nearby for 45 years I called in and enjoyed a couple of pints. I was overjoyed that it still had the wonderful ambience I remembered from so long ago. My compliments to the current landlord (or lady) for maintaining such a gem of a hostelry. Cheers Terry Colley

Fantastic evening at The Builders Arms monthly Quiz Night. First time "our team" had entered but it certainly won't be the last.Terrific atmosphere. Excellent service and choice of drinks. Nibbles too at half time. A very nice touch. Landlady Emma and her staff all very friendly. The pub was absolutely spotlessly clean.

It's a great pub, good selection of beers and staff give excellent service. They have all the sports as have Sky, very dog friendly and a large beer garden (covered and uncovered) with lots of seats. It is my favourite pub, lovely people and very friendly. Emma the landlady is doing an excellentt job since she has taken it over 👍🏻

Unlike the rest of Knutsford the Builders is a pub with an amiable vibe and relatively cheap prices in a nice location (it's nice sitting outside at the front). Good pub.

Fabulous cosy traditional Pub in Knutsford. This pub is definitely worth a visit, you will always receive a warm and friendly welcome from Emma and her team. The prices are unbelievably inexpensive. A truly traditional Pub, with a beer garden, childrens outdoor play area, and regular football fixtures on TV, plus quiz nights. You’ve just got to pay a visit to the Builders.

This is a hidden gem! On the outside it looks like a normal village pub…. On the inside it’s a warm, friendly, welcoming traditional pub. With a lounge and a vault it takes you back to the days when pubs were pubs. No fancy menus,...

Just an excellent friendly and welcoming traditional village pub. Poppy the landlady is a really nice hostess and with her very friendly staff, creates a great atmosphere for all the pub regulars and new visitors. The Marstons Pedigree bitter is the best in the area and there's always a guest beer for those who want to taste something different. We live a few doors up the road so it is our go-to destination for a nice drink in a nice place with nice people.

No it's not somewhere that I recognise would not take much notice of it because I do not drink alcohol due to the fact that I am always driving my recovery truck seeing that I work for the best vehicle recovery business in Manchester in service you receive and the prices they charge absolute bargain compared to are competitors

The beer isn't kept as well as it used to be - you often have to wait to order as the staff are either on their phones or having a cigarette outside...can be infuriating
