A very empty pub on a nice sunny afternoon

Sunday afternoon watching the MICE, lovely afternoon with family & friends .. the entertainment was fab, all to raise money for local charities.. the atmosphere was lovely .. Staff member Dylan was very happy, friendly and couldn’t do enough to to ensure we were served with good quality drinks in a timely matter. Great day

Fabulous night at the odd bottle. If the pub trade is dying, the manager here is definitely doing something right! It was packed. Good quality drinks, friendly staff, great clientele and a great atmosphere in this place. Will be back for gin cocktails outside when the weather gets better. This is the way to run a pub, well done, nothing was too much trouble. Great night from start to finish.

Usually pop in for a drink during our dog walk, when weather allows as we sit outside, staff are very friendly, lovely atmosphere and a cracking pint of Guinness, just disappointed I haven't used this excellent pub earlier.

Never really been in the pub until a few months ago absolutely love the place everyone is so friendly.

Friday evening 24th Nov was one of the best nights in the Oddbottle due to a Pink tribute artist. Service and staff were all amazing thoroughly enjoyed the whole night

Great atmosphere, staff are friendly polite and make you feel welcome, really enjoyed fridays artist, northen soul, even had a cheeky dance with some of the regulars who danced the night away, looking forward to the next visit well done to all at The oddbottle.

Went out on Friday night for a couple of beers and ended up staying to listen to the artist. Great atmosphere and a fantastic pint. Staff was friendly and wasn't waiting more than a few seconds to be served. Really enjoyed my visit.

Was served by Charlotte and Dawn who were excellent. Always a good atmosphere in this pub and a set of friendly faces. Definitely would recommend. Always good acts on aswell, had someone called Louise doing a Northern Soul night. A great good priced night out!

Use the Oddbottle regularly for drinks. Welcoming with a great team! Take our son sometimes and he is made welcome by the staff and regulars.

This pub, a notable stop on our pub crawl, provided a great experience. I even managed to win at darts! The diverse selection of drinks added to the enjoyment, and the fact that they host events like quizzes only added to its appeal. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a vibrant and entertaining pub atmosphere.

The odd bottle is a popular pub, there is a big comfortable Lounge and a large bar. There is a pool table and two dart boards in the bar. There is the usual variety of Bitter and larger but sadly no cask conditioned real ale. The staff are friendly, the pub has a nice outside seating area and a large car park. We enjoyed our visit and will call in again next time we're in the area.

Always a good day/night in the odd bottle , lots of friendly people always get a good conversation going with someone ,staff are so lovely its like one big family your looked after so well ,went in to watch the dart team great night lots of banter going on ,service was great all night with Mandy @ Nicky great team they have there all very friendly

We have been in Oddbottle many times over the years as we have family members who's local this is. We have been overlooked at the bar in busy times by one certain barmaid who insists on serving regulars over us even though we were clearly there first. We also as a party of 10 went in for a drink as we were going across the road for a meal. My grandson was with us, he was 16 dressed smartly and with all his family. We ordered coke for him along with beer wines and spirits. We were told he couldn't stay in for this drink so we all left without having a drink. So this is the reasons for the 2 stars!

Food was not served when we visited, the place inside was dark and dingy, service i think ok, lady at the bar was quick to ask if we would like something. Outdoors there was barriers to block entrance from one side, seems to be undergoing some kind of works outside.

Great atmosphere … good quality drinks … nice guests along with staff … really good place to go for chilled friendly drinks

Although the oddbottle no longer does meals they do a excellent tradition buffet for private party's. Great local friendly pub, Artist every Saturday night.

Doesn't do food but great staff and locals are good folk,get in there on a Monday £2.35 a pint,can't go wrong 👌

Had a great catch up with friends and family here last week july 2022 the sun was out the pub is lovely and clean they had special offers on some of beers the bar staff were very jolly definitely go back

Enjoyed an end of school tea time drink with my children and grandchildren, atmosphere really nice and friendly. Other visitors joined in conversation with us, all children got on and enjoyed the drinks and crayons, activities given to them to help entertain them. Thank you...

We booked this pub as a venue for a surprise party and they were brilliant! Sorted us out a lovely buffet and were very accommodating with everything we needed. The staff were really friendly and I think everyone had a wonderful night, could not recommend...

Absolute joke of a place , website says does takeaway! Ordered my meal at 5 pm and picked 7pm pick up slot . Rang me at 6.45 and told me they have just received my order and are no longer serving food !! You won’t...

We had our annual church Christmas Dinner at the Oddbottle on Tuesday, and all 25 of us agreed that this was the best Christmas Dinner we have had. Great homely pub cheap pub food and a good pint

We took our son there yesterday 23rd got hunters chicken it was burnt my wife got sausage & mash sausages was over cooked. Told bar staff & all we got was I will tell the Chef never go back

I went in 30 October arrived around 9 o’clock, lovely warm pub friendly staff. The singer was ( It’s a shame I have to say this, as she seemed a nice girl) awful, also condiments and menu’s were still on tables,and they stop serving food at 8. It could b so much better.

We went here on a Saturday night with friends, very friendly staff, artist on singing lots of old songs, which was nice to here, watched a few of the older generations dancing which was wonderful to see, definitely a relaxing friendly place to have drinks with friends

Turned up recently as we'd booked a table to be told the Chef had rung in sick and no food at all was going to be served! Very poor.

I use the oddbottle alot for drinks and meals with my family. The food is great the beer is always nice and cold and the staff are an asset to the pub. Always laughing and include you in there conversations. Great local pub.

Great atmosphere … friendly staff with quick, prompt service. Makes socialising good again following previous lockdowns. Lots of sanitisers available throughout the bar and lounge for customer use.
