Just had lunch with my daughter and granddaughter and the food was absolutely delicious. I think I've just had the best steak and ale pie I've ever eaten. Lovely freshly cooked food and great friendly service. Thank you so much 💓 xxx

They have a pizza and pint offer for £10 on Wednesday and Thursday. Went with my Granddaughter and I opted for a pint and a Pepperoni pizza which was huge and delicious. My Granddaughter had a Primavera pizza. Great value for lovely food. The staff were lovely and very attentive. There's a beer garden at the rear and picnic benches at the front. Well worth a visit.

A proper meal in an empty place. Everybody was outside in the sun. Nice People, good service.

We visited the Nine pins today for the first time for Sunday lunch and I’m happy to say we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, hot and the vegetables were fresh and tasty . The staff were extremely friendly and well trained and couldn’t do enough for us. I am giving them 5 stars because they deserve them. Keep up the great standards as we’ll be back again soon. Wow, absolutely lovely Sunday lunch. Lamb and beef like butter, best roasted potatoes we have had on a delivery. Everything cooked well, seasoned well and arrived hot. Best sunday lunch we have ordered, will definitely order again.

I couldn't say enough positive things about this pub and its amazing landlords Donna+ Martin. They went out of their way to help us celebrate our Mam's life after her funeral. Would definitely recommend xxx

The way these people respond to feedback is absolutely atrocious, would not frequent the place, if people have an issue why don't the proprietors respect that and respond privately instead of publicly getting into a debate, so unprofessional

Arrived to a warm welcome and promptly seated. Red wine very nice and hubby very happy with pint of Coors. Food arrived hot and promptly. Lamb was succulent and plentiful, veg was cooked perfectly and gravy and yorkies delicious. Very reasonably priced and value for money. We will definitely be back.

I booked the Nine Pins for food and drinks after my mother's funeral yesterday. From the initial contact with Donna I was helped, reassured and treated with the utmost kindness. I opted for the platinum package - the food was lovely, beautifully arranged and I was told over and over again by our guests how much they had enjoyed it. Donna and her team made what could have been a difficult part of the day an occasion to remember. I would highly recommend

Went for Sunday lunch. Friendly welcome on arrival. I had the lamb and wife had the beef. Both excellent. Plenty of vegetables and large Yorkshire pudding. Large portion so did not have room for pudding. Dinner washed down with well kept Guinness. Would recommend

There were four of us and our dog had lunch there. Food was lovely. A new management team had not long taking over the pub which was spotlessly clean and staff very friendly. We will definitely be back. Was fairly quiet as it was a Thursday lunchtime.

Honestly the best Sunday dinner around belly buster we both got the beef next to us got the lamb it shows the quality and care that comes with the service highly recommend to all get your self's down you won't be disappointed

I booked the Nine Pins for my daughters wake on the 18th October 2023. Donna was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The buffet looked fantastic and very professional, indeed everyone I spoke to said the same. The staff at the Nine Pins were wonderful too. I'm so glad I booked , and would definitely recommend Donna and her team to organise any event, christenings, birthdays, etc. Thank you so much Donna. X

My uncles funeral was held here on 03/10/2023 and the function room was lovely. The staff were outstanding and understanding of all our needs. Everyone complimented on the atmosphere under the circumstances. The buffet was beautiful and the staff knew we couldn’t say numbers under the circumstances and reassured us they would cater to our needs

Under new management and new owners Donna and Martin have worked their butts off in cleaning up the pub. The pub reopened Mon 31/07/23 and looks sparkly. Donna and Martin are very nice and friendly people. I’ve been twice to the pub and would encourage local residents to support the new pub venture by giving it a visit.

Parked up at Team valley tonight and found this little gem of a pub.what a great pub ,it was so clean and tidy,the owners were very welcoming and friendly.Definitely going to visit again when I'm looking n the area,well done nine pins 👍

Absolute shambles of a place. We had the wake for our Mam here recently and it was disgraceful. Only one person behind the bar and she looked like she just got out of bed with a filthy tee shirt and grey sweat pants on. No...

Please do not use this venue. We held our mams wake here and what a shambles. There was only 1 drink on pumps at bar and ran out of bottle drinks. Had to go to tesco for more bottles even ran out of cordial for soft drinks. Lass behind the bar was scruffy and staff had kids putting food out. Prices kept changing for drinks as didnt have till working. Total disaster.

shocking ! theres no other words. we attended a wake here today ! no draught largers apart from coors ! 1 bar staff on, who looked like she was drunk and had not brushed her hair in a month also dressed like a tramp with her bum hanging out her pants! there was kids running in and out the wake that must live at the pub also running behind the bar. not only this but every time we went to the bar, bought the same drinks got charged a diffrent price (trading standards needs involved) . Do not book an event here !! i could write many many more shocking things on but talk about disrespectful to a family who were dealing with enough today.

Had the opportunity of visiting The Nine Pins after 52 years on 11.01.23.After a 2 mile walk in the pouring rain,I found the pub closed even though it said Open on their website...Really disappointed will probably never get another chance to visit.....sad

I'm looking forward to going in and having a lovely take away hot meal from there when it opens I've always found there hot meals very good .

Was looking for somewhere different to try for Sunday Lunch for a change ,my brother said his friend said the Sunday lunches are fabulous....so we booked 9 of us in for Fathers day at 1230pm ..very pleasent & friendly staff greeted us & showed us seat,quick at taking drinks👍. We had Chicken dinners,a lamb,beef,childrens portions for the younger 1s.Very quick at bringing them out,huge yorkshire,LOADS of meat,lovely thick gravy,seperate veg. Asked for extra gravy boats,mint sauce again very plesant,very quick.Lots of staff,very busy which is a good point. Food was beautiful,plenty of everything,we couldnt finish our plates so we took some home for the dogs. We paid £10.95 for sunday lunch,£1 extra for lamb,childrens £5:95 . Would i book again Yes & definatly recommend.& 1 part is doggy friendly too.

My sister didn't want to drink as she was driving, so asked for a cup of tea instead. I ordered 2 pints and a cup of tea costing over £11. Upon asking, it turns out the cup of tea was £3.25!!! Who on earth thinks...

Lovely pub and lovely owners. However on 2 occasions i have gone, they have shut early. On Friday just gone, me and some friends arrived at 930pm intending to stay for a couple of hours, all of the chairs were stacked up on the tables, no draft drinks were available as the pumps has been cleaned. I asked if they were shutting, to which i was told yes as i had been quiet?!?! What about the remaining 1.5 hours or so? I really want this business to survive but sadly, lots of customers like me, wont return as i dont want to chance it being shut.

Nice friendly pub. Lovely atmosphere. The staff are absolutely lovely aswell so welcoming. There ia a little part inside for you to take your doggies which is great. So accomadating providing bowls of water aswell for the doggies whilst you sip on your pint. Haven't tried the food but the menu looks very inviting to come back and try

mash potato was cooked perfectly. Yorkshire pudding was thin and crispy. Lamb was delicious. Swede was just the way I liked it. Well mashed. All in all alot of flavours oozing ...well presented. Gravy had amot of flavour. Customer service is excellent. Very friendly and welcoming. From giving a 5 star now. 3 years ago i give it a 2. Definitely having new management and staff has made alot of difference for the better. Twice I've enjoyed it. Il be back again

Good pint friendly service had a little bit of a wait for food but when it came was very nice had a burger home made while my mate had a giant Yorkshire pud with mash veg and Cumberland sausage he was well happy with worth a visit

Decided to try, after reading good reviews. Husband ordered fish, sorry none, then steak and ale pie, sorry none, then chicken Kiev, sorry none, not a good start. Eventually settled on the Bun Jovi burger, which came with 3 huge great onion rings on the top, the burger was fast, but skinny fries were few and far between. I ordered Beef stroganoff, with rice, it came in a large bowl and garlic bread, and it was awful,basically they had used the mushroom option, and plonked 1 piece of beef on the top. It was overly greasy, and not a hint of red wine or brandy in the dish. The sauce was none existentandy mushroom over powering. And at £13.95 it's not cheap. We won't ever go back.
