Very friendly bar staff especially Ciaren and Georgio. Would highly recommend for drinks and bar food and a lovely beer garden.

Great beer reasonable price, ciaran and gorgio were a great laugh. Will be in next time for food with the family and drinks

I had a lovely lunch here with friends again today. I can certainly recommend the lasagne 👌 I always find it is a nice friendly atmosphere here, with great service and great food at 'affordable' prices. Disabled friendly too 🤗 definitely worth a visit if you haven't been before 🤗⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Me and my family went for a meal on Saturday we all had various meals which were cooked to perfection. So we went for breakfast this morning and once again cannot fault it we all enjoyed are breakfast. Will be going again and would recommend Newton arms for a good meal .

Oh my, we have been driving past here for years always commenting on how we would like to go in, and it did not disappoint! The food was on point absolutely delicious, the Hallumi Flatbread and Salad Bowl with Seasoned Samon was gorgeous and very well presented. Brilliant service from a lovely bloke, and the atmosphere was calm but engaging, very very clean too. We are very fussy with where we eat but will definitely be coming here again.

Amazing bar staff shaun kelly made the night keighly was a laugh, food always good great value for money .only popped out for a food but stayed fo the night.

Food is good, attend the quiz each week. The quiz man provides a good bit of entertainment especially when he tries to pronounce French words....come on down...

Quiz on Thursday is fun and has a great quiz master and atmosphere. Food is usually alright but some room for improvement. Staff are helpful and attentive

Great atmosphere and allows dogs which is great. Staff were lovely and accommodating as well. Love the pub quiz and a very happy dog.

The atmosphere in the pub for the quiz is amazing and the food is incredible, with the service being top tier from Marcus. Would recommend for families, couples and friends.

Me, my friend and her little girl had the pleasure of eating here today. We were served by the lovely Rob who kept us laughing throughout our visit, he was great and very attentive. We were all chatting away like old friends. The food was well priced, lovely and served promptly. The dirty hunters fries were lovely. We will definitely visit again.

Its ok just a basic pub thats seen better days ,, its better in summer when you can sit out , beers ok and friendly enough staff

Shocking, been in for a drink with the wife and nipped across the road to the shop leaving my sun glasses on the side and i was a while as there was an incident in the co-op across the road where I ended up having to resuscitate someone that had collapsed and when I returned a member of staff had them on behind the bar telling me they was his and wouldn't give them back. I threatened him with a sarcastic comment managed to get them back and then they barred me. also this member of staff had been warned in the past off the Newton for same behaviour. Amended because of corruption with staff and my response. So it didn't happen did it not well maybe you need to do your homework as nothing has changed in that pub since that murder that happened or maybe that didn't happen nether ask at the co-op if its not true it was a member of there staff. And to say he didn't take my sunglasses you are a liar like you lot lied to the police with the murder and look how that panned out so double lies to you sir. And as for barred for life there is over a hundred more pubs with better food that bar staff don't take the piss out of disabled people that come in the pub. I see most of your staff work else where.... seems you can't even keep your staff never mind good customers. And while we are at it the bloke that dose the pest control round here dose nothing but bang on about the stench from the toilets and rats from your bins.. never mind the smoke that comes from the sizzler vent that the fire brigade have been to numerous times in the past.

Came down for a family meal food was excellent and well presented, I would like to leave a compliment to the chef, and will definitely return and recommend to friends

Had a lovely meal here yesterday evening. The food was beautiful cooked, my steak was cooked just as I had asked. Lovely friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Will be back again shortly 😊

Had my dad's wake here and they were really accommodating and made every easy food was fantastic and great quality we had the buffet and there was plenty

Just signed up to sizzling pubs & recieved a Mon-Fri 40% off voucher. What a great deal just had a great meal and a few nice bevvies to washing down for a bargain. The food was spot on , & decent size portions ( My wife had the steak and rib combo OMG- the ribs are sooo tasty). Staff were were helpful, friendly and just genuinely nice. Thnx guys for a nice evening

Where do I start? What an amazing experience from start(er) to finish. Meal was beautifully cooked and the service by Andrew, Sean and Jamie was amazing. Couldn't ask for better and they couldn't do enough for you. Would definitely recommend coming here for the festive menu which we mostly had. Great value for money and all freshly cooked to order

Nothing was too difficult for the staff. We were well looked after and the food (Christmas Dinner) was good. The whole event, from initial early enquiry and booking, went smoothly and without fuss.

We had a fabuous meal at the pub on Saturday with all diets catered for. There were 18 of us and we all received our food in timely manner. The festive menu food was enjoyed by 14 people and four meals selected off the main menu were also thoroughly enjoyed. The food served here is excellent value. We have had several meals here during the season and have enjoyed all of them. Sunday we returned and enjoyed a few hours celebrating a retirement do. Staff are lovely and accommodating. Thank you to you all. Thanks to Shaun for booking us all in. Thanks to James, Jake, and Andrew for all of their hard work. Sorry I don't know other staff members names bur thank you to you all.

I really look forward to getting out of the house - and what a treat it is to have lunch at the Newton Arms (which we discovered only a few week's ago). I only get out on one day a week when I am well enough. We had a warm welcome and there was sufficient room for my wheelchair as well. The staff were lovely and the food was excellent. Thank you- the Newton is now most definitely my first choice for my once-a-week outing!

Celebrated my son's birthday - Andrew our waiter looked after us well. Food was good and very reasonably priced. Pub looking tired, could do with a bit of renovation.

We attended for a works festive lunch 15 of us and I have to day the food was amazing and the service was 2nd to none. We had our own area with a big table set up so we could all sit together. Special thanks to Jake, Andrew and the chefs for making our works xmas lunch the best. I will be going back and would highly recommend.

Had burgers which were very good, I had mixed grill which was cold sent it back and it was soon heated up, we had a very nice young man serve us called ciaran he was very pleasant and well mannered would visit again

Just want to say that Rob was great and funny, very friendly and chatty which was lovely and really made mine and my friends time great. He is an asset to the Newton Arms and just wanted to make sure he knows how happy he made me and my friend and made us laugh and the food was lovely too

Had a lovely sirloin cooked as requested aalso hunters chicken cooked to perfection,I didn't want chips so I asked if I could have rice instead and nothing was any problem. The staff were really nice. Would recommend to friends.

Decided to take my son for some food here before we headed on to the Blackpool game on 14th September. We always passed it and decided to give it a go, food was really nice and staff very pleasant. However, today I recieved a parking fine from euro cars and it also said final one. We haven't recieved any others apart from this! £100 fine from your car park is disgusting, be careful people as obviously I missed the signs. But tbf when you park on a pub/restaurant car park and go in to by food and drink you don't expect to get a fine for the privilege. Very disappointed and Euro Cars are awful to deal with.

Was not impressed. Garlic bread was very burnt, I was surprised a cook would send that out thinking someone would eat it like that, did replace this, after I asked, with a less burnt one. Was not informed party sundae had no party rings (ironically named) and when asked where they were just told they were inconsistent with stock order, no offer of replacement or anything, and was also disappointed at the amount of ice cream, about 3/4 of the glass was just completely empty and tried to cover with some squirty cream, definitely not worth £5 at all. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't return.

Called in for a meal when passing and the food was very nice. We were served by Andrew and we didn’t wait long. Nice atmosphere and the place is nice and clean. Highly recommend

I ordered stake and chicken combi the stake was tuff the chicken ok but had better it's sirpost to be a sizzling the skillet was cold in fact it was all cold I could go on and on just be weary if you eat there me never again

The food we ordered was really nice. Very good value. We arrived at around 5pm and the pub soon got busy. We had to wait around 30 mins for our food to arrive, it was worth the wait. Desserts were amazing too.
