Not as nice as it used to be A bit greasy and bland

X2 regular fish and chips for £12 I'm not complaining! Fish fried to order and good portions. Outdoor seating available at the front and there is some seating at the rear also if you want to be outside. Just a few yards from the ferry to Knott end.

To say this is my most favourite chippy is an understatement. We go to others which are very good but the ferry chippy is just amazing. Our last visit took our own barms and got their 2 fish and chips with 2 side for £12. £12 unbelievable not massive but not small either and more than enough for a lunch and they make an amazing chip barm (no detriment to the ferry chippy barms sure they are great just we get some from a local bakers occasionally). We also go in winter where you can get a bag of red hot chips and a have a walk for a few quid. There are no chips which will taste better than those had this way. I occasionally have to get a second portion depends on how many i share or get nicked off me. 6 starts for me.

Typical seaside town chippy, absolutely marvelous stuff. Scruffy but clearly well loved by locals and staff. Great food, excellent value. Top banana.

This is the best place for fish and chips, and dogs are allowed inside, which is a bonus.👍

The £7.50 pensioners special is ace. Am quite happy to become a pensioner for a couple of hours to enjoy such good fish and chips at a perfect size.

Love travelling over from Manchester for a good value breakfast or a small fish, chips and peas. Dog friendly is a massive bonus for us too. Watching out of the window over the Estuary is fantastic across to Knott End.

Great food availability and top icecream. Amenities available and some lovely views from the window seats. Service is good efficient and value is great 👍

Food is always incredible, quick and efficient staff who are a pleasure to deal with. On this occasion me and my partner had a full English breakfast, normally we get a takeaway chippy or ice cream. Not to mention the views are stunning inside. The price to portion ratio is amazing. Really can’t recommend enough.

Fantastic food as always, excellent value especially the pensioners special. Just don't drink the coffee it's terrible, and revisited today the coffee is still terrible, but the amazing food more than makes up for the bad coffee 👍🏻

Absolutely lovely Fish and Chip Butty, one of the best I have had in a long while, really accommodating when I asked if they could wrap them in paper instead of the cardboard box they said absolutely no problem at all. We have just sat in the Motorhome and scranned the lot proper full now I need a sleep…well worth a look in and the price was extremely reasonable too will definitely be back for some more scran…A+++

Polite, helpful staff and good value food.

Tasty food for low prices but ignore the fact it says 5pm close and get there before 4, otherwise they will be most likely be shutting for the day. Majority of staff are very friendly.

There's nowt better fish than at the Ferry Café. Mushy peas and chips (they taste so creamy) are tops too, as well as the all day breakfast. Lovely staff, always friendly and they look like they're a real family. Really hard working folk. There's a great atmosphere. We come here most weekends as its delicious and fabulous value. The view is a fantastic addition. Thanks for being awesome lovely Ferry Café. 💕

Good food and drink good prices

Had an overnight stop in our campervan nearby and visited for breakfast it was so good and great value. The lovely young girl gave our dogs a sausage, now when I say one of my dogs will remember when she’s been treated kindly with food that’s not an understatement. The day after we parked nearby to visit the market, on the way back outside our van I took her lead off to jump in the van. She literally spun round and legged it to the cafe (she’s 11yrs old) ran to the door where a gentleman let her in! 🤣 I’m chasing after her whilst she’s running trying to get to the young girl. Anyway we decided to have dinner there so fair play dog! You won

This is such a great cafe to visit,and you can also take your dog with you,we always get the pensioners special of fish chips & peas which comes with bread and a nice mug of tea.We have always enjoyed the meal every time and the staff are pleasant and helpful.The prices are very reasonable. Also do takeaways.

We visited the Ferry Cafe on New Year's Day 2025 and ordered sandwiches and chips (the service was quick). The portion size and quality of food was impressive, at a very reasonable price. We will visit again. And we have in March 2025, I could not believe the quantity of the breakfast items for the price, this place serves good wholesome food. Yes, we will be back.

A lovely seaside cafe. A bit tatty and dark but good value food and service with a smile never go out of fashion. My mum and I were delighted with our visit. Thank you!

Really good fish and chips. Not the most luxurious cafe but you can take your dog in and the food is great.

Best fish and chips I've had in a long time and will be coming again on Saturday when I visit nearby B/Pool.

Walking along the coastal route .. we could smell the fish and chips about 3 in the afternoon on cold and windy Sunday. Trying to work out where the smell was coming from. Good tasty and wholesome food and a proper mug of tea

Customer service was awful staff arguing with each other. The tables were dirty, and so was the cutlery. The chips was OK but I definitely wouldn't come back here!

Just popped in for lunch with my family and the cod was fantastic the chips were top notch and the mushy peas were the best I've had. Make a decent cup of tea too. I forgot to say the tartare sauce needs to be served by the bucket load 😂.

Only came for a cup of coffee. whilst on a brief visit to Fleetwood The service was robotic. Reminded us more of a Works canteen rather than cafe. Average

Excellent food, stayed open for us because they knew we were coming and we were going to arrive later than planned, staff were friendly and accommodating nothing too much trouble. Prices were very reasonable. Would highly recommend this place.

Fish n chips with a milky coffee with bread n butter for a very good deal costing £7.50 for jenny and I had sausage batter in chips and another coffee total cost £15.00 so not bad at all very reasonable and we've been before and the food never disappointing gets very busy but did filter out after 15 mins as lunch time I guess and the toilets are clean and staff friendly and seemed polite

Don't order the omelette made my daddy very sick and it looked like vomit

Best fish & chips in the area. We had pensioners special small fish, chips, Irish curry , bread & bittet & cup of tea £7-50. We followed that with egg custard pie £1-50. Total £19 for a really great lunch for 2

Near the final tram stop at Fleetwood. This cafe has ample indoor seating and a few outside. Specialising in fish & chips but other options are available. Even if you only want a coffee, this is a good place to visit. Very reasonable prices. It is a popular cafe to visit.

Superb food but forgot half of it.

The food was rank, small fish under cooked batter sloppy and dripping in grease, chips never seen so many bad potatoes they must get them cheap 🤮 seagulls having meal !!

We have been coming to the cafe for many years now. The ladies on the till are lovely, unfortunately we experienced below standard service from the rest of the staff. Getting wrong meals and also having to ask where our meals were,on different occasions. The full English breakfast we had on the Friday was swimming in greaseand fat , we had to soak it up with paper napkins. Not the service we are use to from here.

Quality is good, mushy peas are expensive at £1.20 for a table spoonful. Dogs are allowed, but I don't like that. Not the Ritz but very nice staff and mostly clean.

Best sausage chips and gravy anywhere

We went in here today on the spur of the moment, wish we hadn't, I've been in this cafe on and off for years but I won't be going in again! It's really gone downhill, I queued up and the woman on the till was really rude, I asked for my order, went to pay and she said aren't you paying with cash? I said no I haven't got cash on me, it was £17.20 for a regular fish with peas and a regular fish and chips plus a can of coke, the tray which she gave me was dirty but I didn't say anything. I went to sit with my boyfriend who had hot a vacant table which a pleasant blond girl had just wiped down, we waited a while but that was ok because it has to be cooked, the music was way too loud, the fryer behind the counter was messing about with the other young staff behind the counter, the atmosphere was really busy with lots of elderly people, the other thing that I don't think is right is to allow dogs where food is, yes I like animals but outside only. When our food finally arrived the batter on the fish was lovely and golden but it was dripping in grease, they don't cook them and let them drain long enough, my boyfriend wanted peas and I've never seen peas the colour what they were, dark green the colour of an emerald! So all in all I'll never be going back!

Absolutely amazing, it's a large seated area inside and a chip shop on the side it's brilliant you can eat in or out they sold everything from chips to ice cream and very reasonably priced will deffo go back to Fleetwood just for them😂

Excellent breakfast. We had the large at £7.50. we have sausages left for dinner tonight!!! Service excellent, even when busy. Two days ago we had lunch. Best fish and chips we've had in ages. It's a seaside cafe.

Very poor. Claimed to be understaffed. I've seen bigger places run better with less staff. Tables weren't being cleaned. Messed up a simple order. Music way too loud. Undercooked chips and overly greasy battered items. Toilets were disgustingly dirty. Only good points is that it's dog friendly and has a good view. Best to avoid.

It was by far the worst cafe I have ever been to. Food - was greasy, smelled off (the over fishy smell you get when fish has turned, p.s. im a chef that was visiting) and is very overpriced for what you get. And the cup of tea was vile. I had to find a different cafe to get the taste of that tea out of my mouth. All the cups and plates were grease coated, too. Service, almost none existent. You basically serve yourself at a badly organised counter that's also absolutely filthy. The floors are cracked, dirty, and a serious tripping hazard. Atmosphere - If I wanted to have a 1950's war themed party (after the bombing), I would choose here, but it would need bringing up to the standards of a pule of rubble. All in all, they are lucky you can't give a lower score.

It's a fish and chip cafe. Food is excellent, fish really crispy and fresh. Massive choice of ice cream too.

The service was a bit slow, and the chips were very, very salty as it had been applied by the staff.
