What can I say good music good people nice bar staff

Too many old blokes asking me to buy em drinks few years ago then all turned against me when not getting nothing out of me making stuff up spreading rumours. Dossers pub old washed up folk or too many young kids many ain't got no money. Plus point lol staff were sound other than one old fruit an nut who ran telling stories. Cheap well kept draught beers but it's a bit of a Bertie Bassett pub been going in an out 29 years. Jez Kyle show go up the barbican far better.

Visited on a Monday with a couple of mates. It was decent inside, good selection of beer and friendly helpful staff. We didn't eat, so I can't comment. Bring your own darts!

Good pub in the heart of town. Good entertainment on while I was there. Beer was good and well poured, worth a try if your in the area

Tables were sticky they were out of doom and few beers. Bar staff didn't seem very happy. Hopefully, it will change.

Argyle have just won 3 nil and my Grandson and I are just watching a PL match in this pub. Haven't been in here for about 20yrs or more! It's not very busy surprisingly. Music still blaring out while we are trying to watch the match which is strange. Not a great choice of real ales. 😕 There is a garden area outside for smokers, but because of its close proximity, a good deal of the cigarette smoke wafts into the pub!! Probably won't be going back for another 20 yrs....

I visited the new market tavern the other day, I've lived in Plymouth my entire 36 Years and never visited this place.. I was very pleasantly surprised, lovely atmosphere, the staff were very welcoming and polite, the other customers were all lovely. Overall I am very impressed and intend to visit again for future drinking with friends that I plan..

Was a bit of a run down pub, but now a vibrant city centre pub, gets ultra busy on Saturdays, clientele edges towards the older customer, service can be a bit on the slow side at times.

Was a good pub, I think they Need to upgrade the rules/license around teenagers being allowed on premises!!

Shut by 10.15pm, no atmosphere , no sense of humour with staff. Sambuca was nice though and 3 shots for £6 was pretty good value

Visited for a quick pint before a Chinese. Propped the bar up and had a good laugh with a local. Pleasant, clean, and lots of staff to serve, I was genuinely surprised at how nice it was, I definitely will be back.

Good pub. Sister pub to the kings head. Nice basic pub clean and tidy, service was good too visited on a Sunday afternoon so there was a good few people in. Nice atmosphere
