Nice pub, nice atmosphere but never going back for food, could try the drink if ever there. Food was terrible, I do not have any allergies, however I ended up coughing all day after eating the beef Lasagna I ordered. Still not myself. My partner’s burger was a sorry case for a food. Feels like microwaved meals.

The food was ok but not at the price plate not to be warned more, tuff beef, and the 🦐 dish was a joke got sent back thank never again

Wow, just got back from having lunch. Delicious food and excellent value. Staff are friendly and professional, service was quick and efficient with a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Open plan like a school canteen. Christmas decorations up at the beginning of November. Paid £20 for a cold steak and £15 for a vegetable lasagne that was dripping in fats and oils overcooked and hard. Would not visit again would not recommend to others.

Popped in for a meal prior to visiting the local theatre(Civic Hall) Gladded we booked as it was quite busy at 6pm on a Friday night Service was quick efficient and polite Food quality was good and the wait was not too bad considering the number of clients already in there

Had my mum's 80th birthday in the function room on the 25th October absolutely amazing the hot and cold buffet was brilliant value. More food than we needed but our friends and family appreciated taking the leftovers home 😀 Let us decorate the room and was allowed in early to do so Thanks to all the team Made my mum's day and ours

Newdigate arms has modern decor for that comfortable yet great for that dining experience. It’s a food lovers dream with all food made in house and this isn’t your pub grub stuff. The service is amazing and friendly. The regular staff are welcoming and go above and beyond. Huge shout out to Leigh, for making the newdigate arms my wife’s favourite place for food.

Stake and ale pie meal good curry not good only tasted of tomato and rice over cooked when asked how meal was we told how we felt No response or apology better we tell the truth so problem can be resolved .

Went here for the first time today ,food was amazing, had mixed meat sunday lunch ,loads of meat ,asked for more gravy ,came in a jiffy,why haven't I been here before I ask myself, service was amazing, Elle was exceptionally attentive and there was another waitress too I think Katie was her name ,definitely will be back 😀 thankyou so much for getting us in at short notice 😀

My mum and I go during the week the staff are absolutely lovely and the food is great. Definitely worth the money, our favourite are the burgers at the minute with the Sicilian lemon tart for afters

We have been here several times before and decided that we wanted our wedding celebration meal here too. The team were fantastic and made it an even more special day.

Great place to go for some good food at great prices. Food portions are perfect, service is always excellent. Myself and my family regularly come to dine in and we absolutely love catching up with one of the regular waitresses, Leigh, who we’ve become very close to. She’s the most friendly, loveliest woman. Always service with a smile and my children absolutely adore her, they always look forward to our visits if Leigh is working, because she brings the goodies! (Colours and crayons) and that’s all we could ask for. Very child friendly. We can’t wait to return again. Super special thanks again to all the staff who have welcomed us and the chefs who cook for us. Never a bad meal! Thank you Leigh for all your wonderful hospitality.

Went for Sunday lunch. Couldn't get table due to being fully booked, that says something for a start. Had lunch in the bar, very nice and clean. Noticed tabletop properly cleaned before we were seated. Nice friendly barman. Food arrived 10 mins after ordering, happy with that. Generous portion of thick sliced beef, very tender. An ample meal size for an adult. The brocoli was a a bit under cooked for me but generally, a very nice meal. Will go back to try A la Carte menu next time. Lovely restaurante with nice area outside the front, clean and tidy. I am a convert !

Quiet pub unless the football is on but the staff are lovely and the food is always really tasty and always fresh

Great service, we ate in the bar because we had the dog with us, he was well looked after with doggie treats and a bowl of water. We were also looked after well, our food came out quickly, hot and tasty, out waitress was very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. We will retun

Someone who works in a pub herself who lets their waitresses have their hair down while serving food!? It’s disgusting!!! Letting chefs take drinks into the kitchen in proper bar glasses who knows if they break and end up in the food

Absolute stars today, took daughter who was having a day and refusing any food (typical sassy 4yr old) asked for plain pasta, cucumber and garlic bread as that's what she wanted, kitchen provided the goods and we had a fantastic Sunday lunch with us all managing to eat. Honestly the best service going above and beyond, top notch Sunday dinner as usual as well 😀

We dropped in for a quick lunchtime bite to eat. We wasn't aware of it until it was suggested by the local lighting shop we were visiting. Your typical local pub, with a decent menu but sadly no sandwiches. The prices start at around £11 for a main meal but you could always share a ciabatta. The food was very good to be honest I was a little bit surprised. It took a bit of of time to arrive but we weren't in a rush. The service was very friendly and attentive, the guy behind the bar even bringing our dog a bowl of water and some treats. However he was more interested in the wife's chicken swinger and my sausages. A very enjoyable visit.

I picked this pub because it was convenient for my friend & me to meet up and it had great reviews. It didn't disappoint. My first impression was that someone had put a lot of care into the lovely ladies' toilets - always a good sign. Then, more importantly, the service was great and the food was great. What more could you want?

Raw chicken in my tex mex, although corrected very quickly, £50 ish for 3 meals and 3 soft drinks is alot of money when meals come out raw, although yes they made a fresh meal, and very appoligetic still expensive for the quality of food

Four of us all visited and had the 3 course lunch. Good and friendly staff, perfect food and the interior is lovely. They made us feel relaxed and we enjoyed it so much we will be going a lot more in the future. Highly recommended and reasonably priced. 👍🏼👍🏼. My daughter also took me for an afternoon tea for Mothers Day and it was really nice. Hot and cold savoury food and they didnt overdo the cakes like most places do which i preferred. Excellent service and food perfect again. Definitly 5 stars and more if i could give them. 😋.

I went with my husband & my mum, mum is in her 80s & the pub has disabled parking & easy access.we ordered a starter & main £10. The food came quickly & was tasty. We all had pate to start & different main course's, the food was hot & tasty. The staff were friendly & efficient. We really enjoyed ourselves & will definitely return again..

Attended with a group of 20 for a family celebration, in the private dining room. We all had excellent meals all round and all staff were helpful, professional, friendly and accommodating. Each member of the family has said they’ll return and already looking to book again! Thanks everyone.

We were a bit disappointed for the first time on this occasion. My husband had faggotts and when it arrived there were no mushy peas. The waitress took it back and just added a small amount of peas into the pot with the faggotts. The meal was luke warm which we told the young lady at the end. We love this place and it won't put us off.

Good atmosphere and accommodating. My friend goes here all of the time to have meals and social events. She chose the beef pie and was looking forward to it as she’d had it before but the beef was grissly which spoilt her experience. Other than that good value for money

We regularly use the Newdigate and have always been well looked after and the food is always delicious, we also love the fact we can use the Bar area with our rescue dog and have lunch in there if we wish , All of the Staff are very friendly and helpful , we look forward to returning …. Very soon although the price of a pint , especially the Guinness does stop us going as it’s a bit pricey , Dez & Carol

The staff were very friendly, and the Christmas decorations were excellent. However, the service was somewhat lacking, ie we had to remind staff to take drinks orders, clear table, and again for ordering dessert. We would have likely had a second drink, with coffee to follow dessert, but this wasn’t offered. The restaurant was not over full and staff congregated behind the bar chatting to themselves. The food was ok.

Unfortunately very disappointed yesterdaWas told when we arrived no 2 for £10 meals available in December during the weekdays and to make things worse no Turkey Roast dinner available unless you book them when you book a table . Would be nice if you were informed this at the time of booking ! I had the fish and chips which Unfortunately wasn't fresh and most of the fish was brown . Fourth time having a meal at the Newdigate and very disappointed 😞

I had a jacket patoe with cheese and beans from there today it was rock hard so sent it back they so they did me a nother 1 they said they had no beans is there any other sides I would like I said cheese and onion please when they brought it out it had hotdogs onions on it bloody Terrible it was and even second patoe was still hard with cheese on the skin rather than in patoe never again and they changed me 10 pound for it 😡

We celebrated our anniversary and birthday here today. The service was first class and the food was exceptional.
