One of our favourite restaurants in the area. Good quality food fine choice of menu and very friendly service.

We visited as a family ordering i) fish ii) blade of beef iii) sirloin steak. We actually ordered gammon but around 4-5 minutes after ordering, we were informed this was not available. In place of the gammon fish was ordered and upon changing this order (only around 4-5minutes) we were told ‘too late, the fish is in!’. On being served our meal, we discovered chips were cold on x2 of orders and lukewarm on the third. Mushy peas were cold, as were the peas on another serving. The blade of beef was chewy, dry and was oddly sat in a dish of watery gravy?. The sirloin steak was really chewy, fatty and with loads of gristle (the chef really should have spotted this). The fish was ok, but had far too much batter on it (batter was around 1 inch thick at the ends). We thought it valuable to inform the manager, but no resolution was offered to us. On a positive note, there were plenty of parking spaces. Not enjoyable and will not be back.

Great food as always. Felt a bit rushed though, had 3 different girls coming up to our table throughout our visit , we were only there for about an hour as well. First time that we didn't feel relaxed in the several times we've been.

Lovely meal as always at the Newdigate Arms Bedworth. Staff very accomodating, friendly and polite. Good value for money and establishment is very clean. Would reccomend to anyone

We visited with family and I gad 3 courses from the lunch menu. The breaded brie is lovely and salad fresh. However I chose the crispy chicken burger and fries which were not so good because the chicken had black burnt pieces on it and the fries were very dry with lots of small pieces which I left. Meal was completed with a toffee apple crumble and custard which was piping hot and delicious, especially the custard. The waitress was lovely and very friendly and helpful. Our family had the chilli con carne which they had eaten there before and they said it was lovely. My husband had the fish and chips. He said the fish and mushy peas were good, but had the same disappointment as me with the chips.

Great local typical pub grub mostly busy.

We rented the private room for a birthday party. We had a great time. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I had the 'hanging chicken kebab, which was served with chips; a side salad, coleslaw and a dipping sauce. It was very tasty and very filling; A little bit expensive at £14:50 but worth every penny and I didn't need a dessert.

Took my 86 year old grandad for a drink today. Staff were all friendly and polite. Drinks were reasonably priced. Grandad enjoyed chatting to some of the local lads about fishing and holidays, which was really lovely. He did however mention the potholes in the carpark as we walked from the car.

Awful experience. Have ate at the newdigate on a few occasions and has always been lovely. I booked well in advance for a 40th birthday meal with family. Whole party arrived and we placed our order, few minutes later we were advised that there would be a slight delay as they had a big party that had just placed their food and they would be served first. All the toilets were blocked apart from the one disabled toilet that everyone then had to queue up for and even that had water/ urine on the floor. Over an hour of waiting our food finally arrived, the child’s tomato pasta was absolutely vile, looked like ketchup had just been placed on top. The other child’s meal was a cheese and tomato pizza which came out last after having to chase it. Soggy as anything I could have popped to the local Aldi and picked up their 89p pizza which looks and tastes better. Hunters chicken was cold, spicy prawn linguine was just like a spicy soup with a handful of prawns. Steak and ale pie tasted like dog food. Oreo sundae went down a storm and was the only thing my children ate that evening and was probably the best course of the night. I can not fault the staff they were all lovely and couldn’t apologise enough over the delay of the food. I certainly won’t be visiting again and it’s a shame as it was a nice place to visit but can see how it is going to end up due to the landlord never being there. Leaves the bar staff (mainly young women) to deal with everything and after Saturday nights events I don’t think that’s very fair or safe for them to do so.

Lovely fresh food, was genuinely impressed, I only had a jacket potato but the cheese on it was amazing, like toasted bits of cheese , salad was lovely and fresh, definitely going back

We booked here for a Christmas family get together for 25 people and we had a fabulous time. The staff were top class, we couldn't fault them everyone's food came on time, presented well and tasted lovely. All that attend commented on how much they enjoyed it and would be booking again. As a large family who like to get together like this on regular basis we will definitely be returning. Thank you again to the hard working staff who made the evening go smoothly and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

We have used the Newdigate Arms over 20 times when we visit my elderly relative and I always leave thinking - I really enjoyed the visit. I understand it was renovated a few years ago and what impresses me is that they have maintained the place and not let it go down hill. I find the place very clean and tidy. We recently celebrated my Aunts 90th birthday here for 9 adults and 4 children and the staff were all very welcoming, helpful and patient with us. There is a great selection of food on the menu and very reasonably priced.

A very enjoyable lunch with tasty food and good service. My Mum is in a wheelchair and the pub was accessible and well lit. We will go back again when visiting family.

Nice pub, nice atmosphere but never going back for food, could try the drink if ever there. Food was terrible, I do not have any allergies, however I ended up coughing all day after eating the beef Lasagna I ordered. Still not myself. My partner’s burger was a sorry case for a food. Feels like microwaved meals.

Ate here a few times and have never really been impressed to be honest. The burger last time was okay... nothing to rave about...

Open plan like a school canteen. Christmas decorations up at the beginning of November. Paid £20 for a cold steak and £15 for a vegetable lasagne that was dripping in fats and oils overcooked and hard. Would not visit again would not recommend to others.

Popped in for a meal prior to visiting the local theatre(Civic Hall) Gladded we booked as it was quite busy at 6pm on a Friday night Service was quick efficient and polite Food quality was good and the wait was not too bad considering the number of clients already in there

Had my mum's 80th birthday in the function room on the 25th October absolutely amazing the hot and cold buffet was brilliant value. More food than we needed but our friends and family appreciated taking the leftovers home 😀 Let us decorate the room and was allowed in early to do so Thanks to all the team Made my mum's day and ours

Newdigate arms has modern decor for that comfortable yet great for that dining experience. It’s a food lovers dream with all food made in house and this isn’t your pub grub stuff. The service is amazing and friendly. The regular staff are welcoming and go above and beyond. Huge shout out to Leigh, for making the newdigate arms my wife’s favourite place for food.

Stake and ale pie meal good curry not good only tasted of tomato and rice over cooked when asked how meal was we told how we felt No response or apology better we tell the truth so problem can be resolved .

Went here for the first time today ,food was amazing, had mixed meat sunday lunch ,loads of meat ,asked for more gravy ,came in a jiffy,why haven't I been here before I ask myself, service was amazing, Elle was exceptionally attentive and there was another waitress too I think Katie was her name ,definitely will be back 😀 thankyou so much for getting us in at short notice 😀

My mum and I go during the week the staff are absolutely lovely and the food is great. Definitely worth the money, our favourite are the burgers at the minute with the Sicilian lemon tart for afters

We have been here several times before and decided that we wanted our wedding celebration meal here too. The team were fantastic and made it an even more special day.

Great place to go for some good food at great prices. Food portions are perfect, service is always excellent. Myself and my family regularly come to dine in and we absolutely love catching up with one of the regular waitresses, Leigh, who we’ve become very close to. She’s the most friendly, loveliest woman. Always service with a smile and my children absolutely adore her, they always look forward to our visits if Leigh is working, because she brings the goodies! (Colours and crayons) and that’s all we could ask for. Very child friendly. We can’t wait to return again. Super special thanks again to all the staff who have welcomed us and the chefs who cook for us. Never a bad meal! Thank you Leigh for all your wonderful hospitality.

Went for Sunday lunch. Couldn't get table due to being fully booked, that says something for a start. Had lunch in the bar, very nice and clean. Noticed tabletop properly cleaned before we were seated. Nice friendly barman. Food arrived 10 mins after ordering, happy with that. Generous portion of thick sliced beef, very tender. An ample meal size for an adult. The brocoli was a a bit under cooked for me but generally, a very nice meal. Will go back to try A la Carte menu next time. Lovely restaurante with nice area outside the front, clean and tidy. I am a convert !

Quiet pub unless the football is on but the staff are lovely and the food is always really tasty and always fresh

Absolute stars today, took daughter who was having a day and refusing any food (typical sassy 4yr old) asked for plain pasta, cucumber and garlic bread as that's what she wanted, kitchen provided the goods and we had a fantastic Sunday lunch with us all managing to eat. Honestly the best service going above and beyond, top notch Sunday dinner as usual as well 😀

Someone who works in a pub herself who lets their waitresses have their hair down while serving food!? It’s disgusting!!! Letting chefs take drinks into the kitchen in proper bar glasses who knows if they break and end up in the food

We dropped in for a quick lunchtime bite to eat. We wasn't aware of it until it was suggested by the local lighting shop we were visiting. Your typical local pub, with a decent menu but sadly no sandwiches. The prices start at around £11 for a main meal but you could always share a ciabatta. The food was very good to be honest I was a little bit surprised. It took a bit of of time to arrive but we weren't in a rush. The service was very friendly and attentive, the guy behind the bar even bringing our dog a bowl of water and some treats. However he was more interested in the wife's chicken swinger and my sausages. A very enjoyable visit.

I picked this pub because it was convenient for my friend & me to meet up and it had great reviews. It didn't disappoint. My first impression was that someone had put a lot of care into the lovely ladies' toilets - always a good sign. Then, more importantly, the service was great and the food was great. What more could you want?

Raw chicken in my tex mex, although corrected very quickly, £50 ish for 3 meals and 3 soft drinks is alot of money when meals come out raw, although yes they made a fresh meal, and very appoligetic still expensive for the quality of food

Four of us all visited and had the 3 course lunch. Good and friendly staff, perfect food and the interior is lovely. They made us feel relaxed and we enjoyed it so much we will be going a lot more in the future. Highly recommended and reasonably priced. 👍🏼👍🏼. My daughter also took me for an afternoon tea for Mothers Day and it was really nice. Hot and cold savoury food and they didnt overdo the cakes like most places do which i preferred. Excellent service and food perfect again. Definitly 5 stars and more if i could give them. 😋.
