Chase Hotel in Nuneaton and Bedworth

Want on a Saturday at 4.15pm looked for a table but all reserved for 18:00 hrs onwards got to sit in bar area only 2 table was but full off dirty glasses we drank the drinks and left wasn't very busy ... bad working staff...TRYED to email you but come back has not recognised

Decided to come out for dinner instead of cooking and opted to come to the chase hotel. We had the chicken and rib combo and bbq and cheese burger. Both were lovely, great value for money, I couldn't eat it all so went away full, as did my wife. Definitely recommended and will be back again.

My husband and ate here tonight, personally think the food is amazing, I had the chicken and rib combo, which was cooked perfectly and the husband had a burger, love it and local to is, highly recommend

We came here for food and drinks it was very busy with a little bit of a wait to get severd we had a xl mixed grill a couple of burgers and a mac&cheese the xl mixed grill was cooked to perfection Thank-you to the chefs hannah,harry and rucha well done guys will defo be bk again 😋

We had lunch there yesterday. Two out of the three meals were nice, disappointing in Steak & ale pie. No-one came to ask if we were enjoying our meal or if everything ok, we just commented our disappointment when plates were cleared. Quite chilly in the pub

Me and the lady had a mixed grill i had the XL one, great atmosphere, polite friendly staff. Food came out together our only compliant would be that the peppercorn sauce toke aprox 5 minutes to come to the table after our food but otherwise great overall experience!

Visiting family at Christmas. We all met there in the evening for food and drinks. We stayed overnight. Accommodation was very good. Food was OK.

Went for a nice meal. Had a Ribeye Steak. Was informed the chef Harry cooked the steak. Would have again Had Chloe as our server! Very polite and great service!

The Christmas meal we had on Christmas eve was absolutely beautiful, staff was amazing even though they was extremely busy I will definitely recommend them to anyone ,the staff was they have are amazing do polite, well manard, pleasant, nothing was to much trouble we will definitely book again for next year

Decided this year to have Christmas dinner (10 family members) at the chase. What a lovely four course meal it was. All family members loved their starters some chose prawn cocktail and some had soup all enjoyable. Main meal we had turkey dinners with all the trimmings again a lovely meal then came desserts. Some chose caramel.chocolate bell and some had christmas pudding and some had cheesecake again no complaints. Lastly came mince pies with tea or coffee a d even a chocolate mouse if preferred what a choice. Everything was table service too so thanks to all staff worked really hard and non_stop great mannerism too so a big thank you to you all.The room was set out lovely too.we are already asking to return next year after talking to management.

Went in for an evening meal, the service was tremendous, Karen was attentive but not pushy - exactly as it should be. The food was very good and the price was attractive. All in all, a very pleasant experience, we will be back. Well done all especially Karen who looked after us.

Place was empty. Yet waited an hour for 5 dishes plus 1 kids order. Defo won't be going ruined my birthday. Only one vegetarian option also big issue too.

I visited with family for a birthday celebration and we had a large table of 15 guests, so understandably, there was a request to pre-order. On arrival, we were asked if we were ready for our food. We waited around 50-odd minutes until we finally started to receive it - not a good start. I ordered fish, chips & mushy peas and, quite frankly, instantly regretted it. Even those around me said it looked awful. When putting my fork on the fish, it flaked apart in strings. The portion size wouldn't feed an ant, my chips were soggy and anemic and the whole of my food was lukewarm, at best. Everyone else's food was also lukewarm but they still tucked into it, largely because many were mac & cheese & lasagna. To give an idea - by the time I was able to ask a waitress to take it away, my son had already eaten his, saying, 'it was nowhere near too hot so easy to eat it quickly." The waitress served everyone else's food while I waited for mine and then realised I didn't have mine, apologised and came back with it. It'll start with this - it looked very bad; however, despite the portion size not fit to feed an ant again, I didn't want to be "that person". I don't like doing so as it is. What happened to The Chase providing decent sized portions? This isn't a one-off either, as I visited last week for another birthday meal and the portion size wasn't even adequate! Woeful. NEXT - It is currently 03:05am. I have been awake since 2am, doubled up with stomach pains and, well, let's not go any further than other to say, I'd like to be sat on the sofa but I'm shat on the toilet. Thank you 🙏 And while we wait for the Manager to ask me to send an email, I'll share the questions I'm sure others here would like to know: - How long have your portion sizes been unreputably inadequate? The only food worth ordering is the burger, but the reviews indicate that your staff can't cook beef! - When serving food, especially fish, questions need to be asked why common sense does not prevail. 15 plates of food were BLATANTLY left aside and forgotten about after having a 2nd roasting under the lamp. WHO THE HELL PUTS GREENE KING PROFITS BEFORE THEIR CUSTOMERS? A poorly operated establishment does. - I'm positive Greene King enforce a "final check" policy for when food leaves the kitchen, which leads me to believe the intention was to send overcooked and cooled down, sub-par portions. - I absolutely DREAD sending food back to a kitchen in fear of tampering, food poisoning or whatever else. I am not suggesting anything has happened here but given how poorly I am right not on this Saturday morning, I thought it was worth a mention. - £34.97 for mains & £19.17 for desserts is a substantial wedge and with that wedge, you'd expect a reasonable amount of food. My saving grace is that I'd dread to imagine how poorly I'd hav been if they served the food at a respectable portion size. Let's not get started on the drink prices, hence why we had one! It's such a shame that a menu created by the brewery cannot be propped up by good quality service. Twice in a week on I've visited recently and after last night and my current situation, it will MOST CERTAINLY BE THE LAST. I think you need inspecting. I suspect things are very different to the 5 star rating of your last inspection, 14 months ago.

Great pub for watching sport. Good range of beers. Good food and value for money. Arrived late afternoon and ordered steaks from the competent bar staff.Was served by the attentive and professional Karen who returned to ask if all was OK.

Never had a bad meal until today I had the millionaire burger and my daughter had plain cheese burger both were overcooked had a refund for one burger as I ate my meal but my guts after I got home warranted a full refund

I had a fantastic experience at The Chase Hotel pub, and a big part of that was thanks to Bruno. He was working front of house when we visited, and his service was outstanding. Bruno was quick to run food and serve drinks that we ordered through the app, always with a friendly and professional demeanor. His efficiency and positive attitude really stood out and made our visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend stopping by the pub at The Chase Hotel—you'll be in great hands with Bruno!

After a previous disappointing experience, we were graciously given the opportunity to revisit the establishment following a conversation with the management. During this visit, we opted for the burger and chick 'n' mix, both of which were served promptly and were delightful in taste. The pricing was reasonable and the desserts were particularly exceptional, to the point where I would consider returning solely for dessert and a cup of tea.

Was just asked was everything ok?. In answer to the query, yes. I've just had the best ribeye steak I've had in a long time, highly recommended. The chef knows his meat

Ordered Rump steak (medium well) with salad. The salad was good. The steak was burned. Part of it to actual charcoal and it smelled burn. Inedible. I did get a ‘sorry luv’ for it.

Our visit this lunchtime was not a pleasant experience. We arrived and decided to order drinks on the app. Our drinks were left on the bar unattended until we eventually had to collect them ourselves. When we had the same issue for the 3rd order, my wife visited the bar and asked where our order was and was abruptly and rudely rebuffed by the older female member of staff on duty about how she was the only one at the bar. When the 3rd order eventually arrived, it was wrong. When the same member of staff was approached about this by my wife she received the same abrupt response from the same female member of staff. When the same member of staff delivered the correct drink, it was just plonked on the table with nothing said, all three of us thanked her but were ignored, and when called out on her lack of response, an equally abrupt and sarcastic “your welcome” followed. This member of staff had zero customer service skill and needs to learn some respect for both her customers and her elders. Thankfully the manager on duty apologised and put things right by way of a refund, can’t fault the service by the manager, but this member of staff’s attitude does not belong in the hospitality industry. UPDATE: One week later we are still waiting for the supposed refund, refunds don’t take this long especially to Apple Pay / they either didn’t do one or yet more staff training required!!!!! Fed up of being fobbed off and being asked to email them.

I go to the Chase as its convenient local pub. Food is what you expect from a pub chain. Drinks are a little expensive. Atmosphere is a bit hit and miss, next to college, so lots of youngsters. Lot of TVs for live sport, but never enough bar staff regardless what's on.

Been coming here for years, never disappointed. Great food, good prices, highly recommended.

Worst meal I have had here in a long time. Had a burger and it was very dry. It’s cheap food and you get what you pay for but usually it’s very good here.

Disappointed to say that The Chase has gone completely downhill. Always visited and enjoyed the food in the past but our meal last week was horrendous. First of all £80 on a meal for 4 and I’ve never left a restaurant feeling more hungry! We waited for 45 minutes for the starters and probably would’ve waited longer if I hadn’t mentioned something to a waitress. I know 45 minutes may not sound like a long time but it wasn’t like the restaurant was busy! Majority of our food was left uneaten as the standard was just so below what it should’ve been. We ordered the ultimate feast starter which firstly they had no garlic bread so should’ve really got something else in place as we paid full price, the chicken wings were the most vile chicken wings I’ve ever seen / tasted, it was clear that the food was not fresh just simply frozen then possibly heated in the microwave. One meal was the Tandoori Temptress burger which was the blandest burger you’ve ever tasted the onion bhaji on there was absolutely disgusting. The onion rings used to be phenomenal at the chase but now are clearly just store bought mushy frozen ones. To say we won’t be returning is an understatement so so disappointing.

I went here with family today. Place is spacious and pretty nice looking. The food was average. Nothing special about it, but it also wasn't awful.

Stayed in hotel for 2 nights , lovely clean room and comfy bed. Couple of niggles... only 1 coffee sachet and 2 tea bags in room on arrival-had to ask for more as we'd travelled over 100 miles, and wasn't going to last us very long. Also no toilet brush in bathroom, never know when you're going to need one! Breakfast was nice, plenty of choice. Staff friendly and meals very good. Would recommend and would stay again.
