The New Halfway in Swansea

Went here today for Sunday lunch.sat down lady from the bar went to tell the staff we were there..ten mins and they were still gossip in in the kitchen.very disappointed.wont be recommending to anyone

This is the first time I have been to this restaurant and I must say it was very nice. A set meal for Sunday lunch which was hearty and a good amount of food for me, I don’t have a big appetite so it was just right. The interior was very quirky with a small gage train running above the bar which my grandson loved !!!! Great parking and good service.

Por último la cocina ha reabierto y actualmente sirve almuerzos los domingos. Tuvimos una comida de domingo en el primer fin de semana que abrió sus puertas. Buena selección de entrantes y postres y una selección de tres carnes asadas como plato principal. Teníamos la y patata leek sopa casera para empezar, que estaba delicioso. El asado carne estaba bien cocinada y había una fantástica selección de verduras bien cocidos servidos por separado. No pedimos ningún postres como los dos primeros cursos lo colma, pero había una buena selección de postres que nos aseguraremos de probar cuando vamos otra vez la próxima semana! El personal era amable y eficiente y, aunque fuimos el primer día que la cocina reabrió, todo el mundo parecía estar trabajando juntos. Buena suerte a todos en su nueva aventura y ver que el domingo!

Visitamos la oportunidad y pronto se hicieron muy bienvenido, precioso Domingo almuerzo con todos los adornos, me sorprendió ver incluso tenían cordero asado en el menú, que parece ser una rara vez estos días. un poco como comer en cantina, pero el personal no podía ser más atento. amistoso con los niños. ¿comería allí? sí

He probado desayunos aquí y los domingos almuerzos e incluso perritos calientes y patatas fritas viendo el fútbol y rugby y siempre me he quedado muy satisfecho con la comida, el servicio y la relación calidad-precio. El personal es muy amable y el pub ha llegado tan lejos como se cerró y ha sido reabierto con una reforma completa dentro. Vale la pena verlo si estás en la zona y haber previamente ignorados, ya que ahora es un muy acogedor y agradable.

We booked here for Easter Sunday on recommendation from a neighbour & we were very impressed! On arrival we were greeted with a smile & seated promptly. Lunch was 3 course & just £9.99 each, kids 3 course was £5 or £6,again 3course. Good starter selection, meat selection was lamb, beef or turkey and all 3 looked fab but I went with lamb and it was just perfect! All our meals were served with Yorkshire pudding,stuffing & gravy & our fresh veg was served in tureens so we could help ourselves. Excellent variety of desserts including homemade crumble, strawberry & cream sponge & an amazing eton mess!! Overall we all thoroughly enjoyed & needless to say we will definantly be returning,hopefully for fathers day. I believe they also serve breakfast & pub meals during the week so the next time we go to the range we will have to try a weekday lunch.
