Had a lovely Sunday lunch. We had duck Bon Bons to start, I had Roast Beef and my wife had Roast Lamb for mains. Mrs C had the crumble and custard for pudding and I had a chocolate brownie. All very reasonably priced, generous portions and - as ever - great service. Our only (small) observation and suggestion would be to serve the gravy and custard in a jug rather than on the dish to allow the customer to pour it where they’d like. I’m sure if we’d have asked the staff would have obliged so one for next time.

Excellent meal..so well presented …worth travelling an hour for. ,My starter was the twisted prawns which were superb. My wife and I both had the cod loin which was incredible. …The New Chapel has been so well renovated . The staff are well presented and friendly .Our only criticism is the difficulty in find the place.

Recently visited here with our daughter and her children. The old chapel has been tastefully restored to a high standard, preserving many of the original features. Decent drinks and food menu. Service was a bit hit and miss, kids food was good value, but adult main meals were average. Be a great venue for a party or large social gathering.

The New Chapel in Greylees is a hidden gem in Sleaford! It has such a nice calm atmosphere within a beautifully decorated building! The food we had was delicious and the staff were so nice! As soon as we entered we were greeted by the bar staff who were always smiling and were very friendly! The service was quick and our waitress, Elizabeth, was amazing and so kind even when we couldn’t decide on what food to get and my dad kept changing his mind! Also to the bartender, I think her name was Katy, was so smiley and chatty whipping up drinks, talking away to my dad (who never stops nattering) whilst making our drinks and many others. He was overjoyed to see such lovely hospitality which also made me happy as many tend to ignore him when he talks for so long but she didn’t bat an eyelash the wrong way and didn’t mind whilst she was busy! So big thank you to her. Can’t wait to come back with friends!

Dinner at 5.30 on a Tuesday a Few people in. Beautiful converted church, lovingly restored/designed by the owner. Attentive friendly staff food was good. Tried the smashed burger which was good. I would say you could call the menu good pub grub. Approx £15 for main which is about average. I've had breakfast here also which was fairly priced. When we were leaving more people were arriving. Will be definitely go again and are looking at going to one of their special evenings that are advertised on their FB page. I couldn't find a 'check in' link on their FB to show that I were there, maybe this is something that's needs looking at as they would get lots more publicity doing this. Love the fact they have alcohol and cocktails are on my list next time when I am not driving.

This is about the fifth time I visited right from day one. The building superb, staff friendly. But sadly the snacks still iffy. First visit I asked for cake, but didn’t have any and was offered crisps or nuts! At 10.30am. The coffee was barely hot. Several visits later, similar food/snack problems. So I thought we’d try yet again. With some very dear friends. Sadly coffee just never piping hot again, tea drinkable (warm) and flapjack STILL frozen. I have to say I felt a tad embarrassed. Surely the food is sorted prior to next days customers. We might try again because we do love the place, but sadly just not sure.

First time, visiting today, although, we live in sleaford and heard fantastic reviews. My partner had a sausage sandwich, whilst I had the smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich with side salad and Nachos. Both lovely, We had a conversation with the owner, lovely young lady, and she let us see upstairs, it is absolutely Beautiful. The staff and friendly and the venue is just something else. Please visit to support local businesses, it truly is a hidden gem.

Went as a couple. Really nice atmosphere. The facility was much needed in the area but it’s monopolised on the price. £5.90 a pint of Beer Morretti is a little too much.

As everyone is saying, this is a welcome local option and the restoration and presentation of this old church is lovely. Its a huge vaulted space, very stylish, though it does lack a nod to its history....no old photos, or historic panels. There's a wide menu and its not cheap. We each had a sausage and bacon sandwich and a pot of tea each for £17+. Unfortunately they use pretty ordinary ingredients... fairly tasteless sausages and thin sliced bread. There's a very small cake cabinet, that really looked quite limited. The staff were very welcoming, smiley and helpful. A tad disappointing Unfortunately.

My first visit was for a sound bath (Friday mornings), Stunning renovation of the old chapel, beautiful stylish and elegant decor with such attention to detail. We’ve visited for brunch and Sunday lunch, it was delicious, the quality was outstanding, locally sourced and cooked to perfection. The staff are very attentive and a credit to Frida, fantastic tea of happy staff. Can’t wait to visit again, what a gem and how lucky we are to have you.

I’d heard extremely positive things of The New Chapel from various friends who had enjoyed Sunday lunch, attended the New Years Eve function or just an impromptu drink or two. Expectations were therefore high when we popped in for lunch today and we were not disappointed. We were greeted with a sincere and warm welcome by the owner who is clearly very proud of her venue. We each ordered the chicken club sandwich, which was huge, with a side of chips - both were freshly made, very tasty and excellent value for money. The chapel has been sympathetically renovated and tastefully furnished throughout. The staff are polite, friendly and attentive without being over-familiar or insincere. The mezzanine offers a more intimate dining experience and complements the more informal seating downstairs. The menu is varied, including options for vegetarian and vegan customers, plus a wide choice of drinks including alcohol free choices are on offer. A final plus is that dogs are also welcome in the main bar/dining room. The New Chapel is a hidden gem of a venue that richly deserves greater publicity, patronage and plaudits. We’ll definitely return to try an evening meal, Sunday lunch, one of the regular live music evenings or special events like the upcoming Burns Night.

Lovely venue...modern interior that is sympathetic to the original architecture. Staff are lively, very friendly and welcomed us warmly. Food excellent. This is definitely a gem. Just a couple of pieces of feedback re the meal...please serve bread with separate butter; please serve gravy in a jug so customer can choose the amount to put on the plate.

Last night my lovely choir ladies and I had a fantastic Christmas meal at The new chapel in our village. 🎄🎅🏻 They served 28 of us on time with hot delicious food. They were super helpful and ensured all of us were well looked after. I can't recommend this venue enough. Greylees is very lucky to have it.

Lovely building, great job done on making use of an old chapel. Little chilly this time of year. We went for lunch midweek pre Christmas. Just one person in the kitchen. We experienced 55 minute wait for food. Lovely food when it came and free drinks offered. Depended what you ordered as another table received their food before us but ordered after us. Would consider visiting again if only for coffee and cake.

We went here when it opened at 10am having seen their breakfast menu online. However no food was served before 12pm. This is in small writing on the menu and probably needs to be bigger (especially as the menu calls it breakfast). Cake was nice though. Beautiful decor though and very comfy seats. It wasn't warm inside when we went but understandable as is such an old building.
