Missed satnav turning and needed a comfort break so we stopped here. Shared a sandwich and salad and I could not resist a cream eclair, all very reasonably priced. The sandwich was delicious, the salad beautifully fresh and probably the best eclair ever! The staff were really friendly and corrected our directions. Shame we don’t live near!

Went for afternoon tea when visiting my parents who live in the area. Table set up ready for our arrival. Food was delicious and plentiful and for the price you can’t beat it! Lovely staff, clean and friendly atmosphere. Even came home with a slice of cake. Would definitely visit again!

The menu in this cafe states that pensioners can have any main course plus a pot of tea for £6.50. My wife and i are in our mid seventies yet we were charged £17 for the two of us. WILL NOT BE REVISITING !

We all had breakfast but different things the food was delicious hot and it was a pick and mix menu so pleased everyone’s tastes. Thank you and we will be back next year for our annual meet up. We went for lunch here, the owners come and bought us a menu, very polite and helpful when we wasnt sure what we wanted. Made the children very welcome. Great children's menu. The gammon is to dye for. The menu is due to be redone soon so the owner said. The staff and owners are top notch. We will be back very soon.

On a golfing trip with 3 friends. Wanted a great place to have breakfast and this was it. Superb all round. Zero complaints

Fabulous little cafe on the A17. What a perfect find - delicious food, all very reasonably priced, and served with a smile. We bought a slice of cake each to enjoy later and these were also very tasty and beautifully light. Cash only - no cards. Plenty of parking outside.

Tables not cleared, peas cold and hard. Tea for 2 ...2 mugs with hot water and a tea bag plonked in. After 10 mins asked for tables to be cleared not one uncleared table.when we walked in. Not very inspiring menu. No tip this time.

Yet another visit to this fantastic pub. The lunchtime baguettes are amazing and great value for money. The only issue I have is with the guy complaining about his steak as the George has not had steak on the menu for quite some time. My advice is to ignore that review and try the pub for yourself, it's brilliant.
