Good food at a reasonable price,very tasty.

We’ve been here often and always had an amazing meal and today didn’t disappoint. The portions are massive . They have a great dining offer 2 courses for £15 which we had . Staff very friendly and lovely chilled out atmosphere. Always are go to pub .

Fantastic evening out with my fiancee. Food was amazing and staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Ellie-mae.

Leoni was amazing and looked after us as always!

Having dined here regularly (almost weekly) over many years, we find the varied menu always good value and, more importantly, of very consistent excellent quality. All staff are good but in particular we would mention Leoni as she is always smiling and makes the extra effort to say ‘hello’ and that we are looked after. Leoni is a real asset to the establishment.

The food is so worth the money for the portion sizes, it was quite busy and Molly served us and was very polite and friendly

Went for a meal first time in a long time, not impressed food was luke warm kept coming out different times instead of all together for us to eat at same time and not the best ,table service wasn't very good . Won't be going again

We came here a few weeks ago on a sat evening 6 of us all together food was amazing. Came back on the Sunday the next day Sunday lunch was amazing, so we booked just hubby and my self for the following Sunday for lunch oh what a big disappointment veg were not cooked. Gravy was like water hardly any meat we had lamb. We told the staff they did apologise. I didn’t eat my lunch as it was not up to the standard of the Sunday before my hubby only ate half of his great disappointment and it had gone up from £12.95 to £14.95 we were offered no discount on our food so ended up paying £37 from our pension for lunch that we didn’t eat very disappointed customer we had to come home and get our selves some lunch

Nice and clean. The food is nice, but mine was only luke warm. No check on food, drinks, or dessert, so service standards are lacking.

We went for an evening meal for a friend's 60th birthday. I ordered fish and chips, as did one of my other friends. The chips arrived wrapped in paper! The piece of fish was placed on top! If I'd wanted it presented like this I'd have gone to the fish and chip shop! What a very strange idea! It was all still on a plate, which I guess was something. So we unwrapped the chips from the greasy paper, as it had soaked through from the fish, and decanted the chips onto our plates, so we were then left with the greasy paper which we didn't really know what to do with! My fish was very average, there was a hard bit in the middle, I'm not sure if it was still the backbone. We told the waitress who just said "Oh. Do you want to see the dessert menu". No apology. The plates of food were also just 'chucked' onto the table in front of us, no smile or anything off the waitress. Maybe a little more customer service? When the bill arrived my one friend asked if they did a blue card discount but the waitress said she didn't know. My friend asked if she would be able to find out. She went away to ask. No they don't. Fair enough. She returned with the card reader. Because we were splitting the bill we were then told she couldn't do that, we'd all have to go to the bar and pay individually as they have a new system and she can't do it on the card reader. Very odd. Anyway, it was cheap and cheerful (apart from the waitress) and you get what you pay for. Probably wouldn't choose it again to be honest. Shame as last time we dined here (a year or so ago) it was actually very good.

Two of us turned up on a busy Sunday afternoon without a booking as we were passing, we were very well looked after by Gemma - she is an absolute star, very friendly and accomodating. Food was very good also, we have the roast dinner, very tasty food and plenty of it, will defintiely be back.

Went to the nevill arms for Sunday lunch, the food and the service were incredible, such great value for money, the staff make you feel really welcome, and nothing is toomuch trouble, would recommend to anyone who is looking for great food at a great price

I've been to the Neville Arms twice recently and both times the food and service have been amazing. The first time was my book club Xmas meal which was well organised, excellent value and great food for a large group. Yesterday there were four of us and again lovely food, great value and we were made very welcome with our dog. One member of our party had significant food allergies and great care was taken with her meal. I can highly recommend the Neville Arms and we will be going there again soon.

They were out of quite a lot of dishes on a Sunday afternoon. Not too good really

Great Xmas Day meal everything was perfect. Been back twice more & food is lovely & great choices. Very busy at lunchtime so booking table is recommended.

We came just after christmas table of 11food was good but service is dire we have been again early evening few empty tables so definitey not busy but just cant understand the slow service was shown to table after a 5minute wait at desk no one on it waited 20mins before someone took order for drinks then waited nearly 20mins to get them orderd food took 30mins to come out which was reasonable i suppose as a table of 7 but then to get further drinks and desserts was ridiculous times i had to ask 3 time for the desserts i just cant see why plenty staff around but just seem to be hanging around

Great for Sunday lunch. Spoke before getting there, and then explained to waitress what I wanted. It was cooked perfectly, and fitted my diet plan perfectly.

Excellant lunch ..good value we'll cooked generous proportions..good waitress service..very prompt service. Pleasant surroundings ..best to book as it was quite busy.we had the posh fish fingers but on baguette not brioche.

Lovely pub and helpful / attentive staff. Excellent vegan menu. Friend enjoyed her food also, from the main menu. Food was high quality and piping hot. Would highly recommend. x

Food was great especially for gluten free vegetarian options. Service was fine too. Only comment would be that it is probably due a make over. Ladies loo isn't very pleasant but I'd go back again for food definitely.

Some of the best pub food I have had in the U.K., at pretty good prices. Way better in both taste and presentation than some of the “higher end” pubs around.

Went for a Sunday roast, the meal had the appearance and taste of frozen and processed food in my opinion not the best

The food was very nice and so were the staff. The issue I had was that I fell by the entrance on the way into the pub. A member of staff came straight out as she had witnessed the fall. On the way out, we checked the area and realised that I had tripped over a loose slab. As I had trodden on it, it obviously became raised and I caught my foot on it. We have taken photos as evidence. I did send a message to the manager on the same day and 3 days later there has still been no reply or acknowledgement. I have mobility issues as many people do that go in there. This is obviously a hazard and dangerous and appears to have been that way for a while, by the appearance of the slabs. This does not comply with health and safety regulations as it is unsafe for customers. I am waiting to see their reply, but as yet nothing. Tom, You replied to me yesterday. Afternoon Christmas get together seven of us , service and food were fantastic for the price on the set menu, would definitely recommend this place.

Well you exceeded even your own high standards last night when Bromsgrove Motorcycle Club attended for our regular Christmas visit. Super quality, piping hot food, fantastic service from your excellent, friendly staff, and great ales. Is it any wonder we keep coming back for more!

Went with friends and family for lunch, considering it was busy and so close to Christmas, the food was lovely and service was really good, ee had a young girl named Mary as our waitress, she was very helpful, polite and attentive and wore a smile 😃

Went to a birthday meal at The Neville Arms tonight, a party ranging from 85 years old to 5 years old. The place was busy and decorated for Christmas and the atmosphere was lively. But.......it took an hour for our first course to arrive, and the same again for the dessert, and then the kids ice cream arrived after everyone had finished. The food is good, the place is lovely but to be there for over 3 hours with children getting bored was exceptionally bad service and verydisappointing.

A good value meal as always. Great service with a smile from our waitress Poppy who served a delightful Kedgeree and a cheeky beef.

Best Cajun chicken I've had outside of the USA. Chicken kebab is great, too. Superb value for a casual lunch. Dog friendly with water provided and one of the staff even got some biscuits . Thank you!

Nice food, but I wouldn't rave about it. Nice friendly staff. It wasn't busy, but it still took just over 35 minutes for our food to arrive at our table. The lamb shank had more fat on it than lamb. My curry seemed like it had been microwaved. The seabass was good, and the Pork belly was way to fatty.

The waitresses especially Ellie is always friendly and makes sure we have all we need On our visit Nothing too much trouble and the food and service is always good Would recommend

Amazing beef dinner .beef was so tender it melted in your mouth. Delicious food .would definitely go again and most definitely recommend . exemplary service. Complete the chef for sure .

We recently sadly lost my partner’s father . With Charmaine and the team’s support we held the wake at the pub. From start to finish Charmaine was so lovely and helped organise the best send off we could have asked for . The food was fantastic and everyone commented and a number want to return to eat there . We wanted to send a massive thank you to Charmaine for her attention to lo detail and her kindness when helping us sort it out . I cannot tell you how much pressure it took off us in a really difficult time . She was fantastic and so were the team.

I had such a good and friendly experience with the staff at the Neville, which only encourages me to go back and dine there again and again. My waitress for the evening was Ellie. She shown patience and kindness throughout her service. She shown a model of how customer service should be. Definitely will be going back soon.

This was our second visit and sadly our last. We were blown away last time with lovely friendly greetings from staff who were enthusiastic and energetic. What a difference. We may as well have been invisible stood waiting for someone to show us to a table. No friendly greeting it really felt like every member of staff had begrudgingly arrived at work. Okay it was 13:30 and perhaps they had been extremely busy. Great food and the 2 invisible customers left without any response to our cheerio and thanks! Plenty of places to eat so we’ll be going elsewhere

Love the food at The Nev but I wish we could have more vegetables with our meals rather than salads. Most restaurants offer veg or salad as an option but you dont seem to get a choice with most meals ! Please chef amend your menu especially now we're heading in to Winter .

What a great find. Tired and hungry, we pulled into the spacious car park of the Nevill Arms. We assumed that the place was OK as the car park had quite a few cars in it. But our expectations were not just met they were excelled. Quality food and plenty of it, at brilliant value. We can highly recommend the twice cooked belly pork and the chocolate brownie Sundays. Can't wait to return!

We been to the Nevill Arms many times and visited with our young Grandchildren as a celebration, they both wanted Burger/ Chips which wasn’t on the Children’s Menu, the main Menu would have been far too much and too expensive so after a long discussion with the manager we received two single Cheeseburgers and one portion of Chips between them. The Burgers were very overdone and dry, we didn’t complain any more because they were hungry and didn’t want to wait any longer so we disguised the dryness with lots of tomato sauce We feel that the Children’s Menu should include a smaller Burger/Chips

A lovely pub that holds it's cotswold character, even after it's recent staff upsizing. Food is lovely every time. Would recomended for anything from a couple drinks to a private event.

My son and new daughter in law had there wedding there Sept 21st and it was exceptional. Food was outstanding was buffet but lovely. The waiters and waitress worked very hard(thank you) atmosphere was fab and the room was great...was a lovely day

Have gone to the Nevill many times over the years and loved it. Even had our 50th birthday. However tonight the service was shocking and the meals were well below par. They never questioned if we had any allergies, never checked if the food was ok, did not come back to see if we wanted a desert. I even had to chase down the waitress to get our order to begin with.

Came for lunch today, food was delicious cooked by chef Paul. The vegan options were really good. Our waitress Ellie was also very friendly and helpful, I will be returning here again very soon 😊

We hadn’t been here since before Covid and was pleasantly surprised that the pub had had a make over and looked so bright and fresh . The food was amazing and we couldn’t believe the portion sizes for the price . We all agreed that this is now our go to pub for great food . The staff were also brilliant . Very friendly and helped me when I had a question .

We’ve just had a lovely meal at Nevill Arms. Our waitress was Ellie and she was very friendly and accommodating. Especially when we needed to move tables at short notice. We’ve been before and loved it. We’ll definitely be back again.

First trip to the Neville arms. 6 of us went for a birthday meal, ordered mains which were ok. Three of us decided to have desert. Half an hour after ordering desert nothing arrived so we went to find out where they were. 10 minutes later we are told very sorry but we're going to do the big table first then we will get to yours. Cancelled deserts and left. First trip to the Neville arms will most likely be the last

Over the past 12 months or so my sister and I have visited the Nevill Arms pub on many occasions. It is a lovely pub located in Astwood Bank Redditch. On entering the pub we are always greeted with a warm welcome by all of the friendly staff, in particular Jamie. All of the meals are cooked to perfection by Steve the head chef and presented and served well. I am so pleased with the meals and the service given and have booked the pubs function room for my up and coming birthday party. John and Jean

It had been a while since last visiting the Nevill arms, and the food and service has taken a turn for worse. Waited at an empty bar for ages. No acknowledgement from bar staff while waiting. Food was served in a reasonable time but the food was less than average. Hard roast potatoes. Overcooked carrots, which tasted like tinned carrots. Meat was dry and almost inedible. This was mentioned when the waiting staff came to check how our meal was,and to be fair they did offer a replacement but by that time we had pretty much finished. Fish and chips was OK but nothing to get to excited about. Maybe it was an off day and I'd probably give them another chance.

Warm welcome from staff that were extremely pleasant and helpful. Food was plentiful, well presented and arrived promptly. I’d recommend the Prawn Cocktail and Sea Bass which was superbly cooked by Steve the chef. Overall an extremely pleasant visit and one we will definitely make again.

Staff were freindly, food was not good. Meat was very dry, only ate as we were so hungry. When I say dry I mean it! Seemed like it was cooked in a microwave for 30 minutes. Chips were the only nice bit. Won't eat there again. Shame as seems like a nice place.

Overall a typical Village style Pub, food is slightly above average. Service is mixed sometimes it’s good sometimes it’s slow.

Expecting food that was better quality than it was after reading their website. Fish and chips £16.95 was just like a chain pub would serve. It was edible but very mediocre. Frozen fish which was not the best. Crispy batter was good though. Frozen chips. Inside the pub was a bit tired and could have done with the refresh and clean. The outside area is nice. The staff were efficient. Overall it was quite an average experience so very much doubt we will be going again.

I went for dinner here recently, probably the first time visiting in about 15/20 years! It's changed so much, and I was a little disappointed that there wasn't still an outdoor play area still, but the outdoor area is lovely and looks quite new with all the seated areas. The food was reasonably priced and good value for what it was. We initially sat inside and my 4yo struggles with sitting still and maintaining his excitement when we are out due to his additional needs. But I felt he wasn't hurting anyone when he was running about as it was pretty quiet to begin with and there was an additional route around for staff etc.. but as it got busier we decided to take him outside as I felt it was getting a little chaotic for him and some of the waitresses. Charmaine was really helpful, she showed us where to go and she also originally seated us and did ask if we wanted a different table as I feel she recognised his needs. 🥰 Charmaine was very friendly and polite and a lovely waitress.

Me & my friend meet up for a meal choose Nevill, how disappointed we both were, staff not very friendly, given menus but not told about in week offers 2 for £14.95 etc found out after we had eaten poor not to be told or told about specials etc & food well scampi & chips peas side salad the chips were burnt & soggy, peas were like bullets, scampi was cooked ok & salad can’t eat health reasons & my friend had curry cooked ok, I told waitress who said I’ll tell chef but never came back to me with apology not impressed, got bill & waited but nobody came with card machine so we sorted cash out as both annoyed & left at table I would not recommend this pub & won’t be returning. ☹️

Came back to eat after quite some time, food is still exceptional. Great service, staff were all pleasant and friendly. The only thing I could say is that the serving of chips with a burger was a little small. Served in a ramakin the same size as the coleslaw serving. Impressive service This is not my visit but for my neighbour, Brenda. She says she and her friends had a fantastic meal and she wanted to comment on two people in particular. The first person is Will. Will, she says could not do enough for her and her friends. They were all really impressed with his professionalism and friendliness. The second person she would like me to mention is Jamie. Brenda had accidently left her purse behind and Jamie called her to let her know that the purse had been found and was in safe keeping behind the counter.
