The Mustard Seed in Bolton

Came in for a ham salad sandwhich. Was so fresh and tidy good quality grub. The funny guy serving made my day. He is hilarious.

It’s always difficult going to somewhere new and not knowing what to expect or even what the menu has to offer. We have driven past the sign for this cafe hundreds of times and always say “we’ll have to try there” Well we finally did on Saturday and we’re not disappointed. It is perfect. There is so much choice including specials, breakfast and lunch menu. I had a mega breakfast (I was hungry) it comes with everything from local sourced sausages to sunny fried eggs, incredible hash browns and tea or coffee and 2 toast included. The sweet stuff also look amazing but we were full from our brekkie. There is ample parking spaces side and rear and if you don’t want to sit in you can take away. The staff and service was friendly and welcoming and attentive. Nothing too much trouble. This is now our go to cafe as we spotted a couple of meals we’d like to try for lunch next time. So glad we finally turned into the side road and had a fab brekkie. Don’t just take my word for it though. Try it…you won’t be disappointed I’m sure.

The food was delicious. The place is hygienic and the staff very friendly. I had a tuna salad barm and my partner had baked potato with chilli and cheese. It was so full of flavour just as food should be and served with a big smile. We sat outside in the garden while the sun was out and enjoyed our food. We have been there 3 times now and ordered the same again. Next time we will order something else I think. Nice portion sizes and reasonable prices.

Recently bought a Tuna Pannini from The Lemon Tree having had sandwiches on previous occasions. It didn't disappoint and was definitely value for money. I'm looking forward to testing more items from the menu.

My family are regular visitors here and we really cannot fault the owners or the overall quality of their food. We've had sandwiches, breakfast wraps, paninis and full breakfasts - all went down well and with a smile. The owner is lovely to talk to and always remembers regular faces which is a nice change. If you are in the area then I would highly recommend visiting here for your breakfast, lunch, etc, rather than other big food chains. If you want to give back to local businesses then please start here - you really wont be disappointed! Side note: Food prep here is great especially during our current Covid-19 restrictions etc. They even take phone orders to pick up!

Very disappointed to spend £6:45 for a full English and not get fresh sausage, why any cafe owner would serve frozen cheap chip shop sausage to customers is baffling, also the bread wasn’t fresh and margarine was used instead of butter, I’m sorry but the prices do not reflect the standard of food.

I visit here as often as I can, as it’s not far from where I live. The service is second to none, food is always good, very reasonably priced and I’m grateful that I can visit. An absolute credit to its owner.

Called in while working on Wednesday and got a full breakfast to take away and god it was good. Would definitely go there again to eat in. Very good food clean and tidy and I think it was the owner was very friendly so hats off and we'll done the lemon tree and I love the name x

Came here many years ago and the food was dreadful. We tried it again recently when family bought a house in the area and have been in at least once a week since as a treat at lunchtime. Quality of food second to none. I’m sure the owner should put her prices up as everything is so reasonably priced and generous portions. Good home cooking served with a smile. The chilli is a good choice as is the feta cheese salad. Incredibly clean and inviting. Try it you won’t be disappointed

Delicious and fresh food, Really nice service with a massive smile. The soups are really good and the bacon barms are the best around. Go and try it.I went in to The Lemon Tree about a year ago when before it was taken over in October and it wasnt very good. I went in again last week after hearing it had been taken over, WOW what a difference in atmosphere and food. Superb.

Come here today for 2 bacon barms and some pasties (carrs) for lunch! Wow amazing food lovely lady serving must say best Bacon butty I have ever had worth a visit if in the area. Oh also got 2 manchester Tarts that I can't wait to try!

Última visita hace unos años, supongo que ha cambiado de manos desde entonces, ya que solía ser un montón de plantas para la venta fuera y el chico que trabajaba allí era muy conocedor de todos ellos. De esta manera fue pasando el lunes, así que decidimos llamar para un aperitivo para el almuerzo recordando lo bueno que solía ser. Pedimos un pavo, Brie y panini cranberry - claramente anunciada en la junta. Turquía no?? Pero podría haber pollo en su lugar. Sonaba bien, me imaginé algunas lonchas de pollo asado, que no es lo que me dieron. A unos 15 minutos más tarde (tenían una prisa loca aparentemente - 4 personas) me dieron un pálido panini Brie, flojo, que tenía algunas horribles cranberry relish (barato y desagradable) y unas rodajas gruesas de unseasoned muy insípido y pollo. Decepcionado no hay cerca. El personal no tienes idea, ninguna organización y no mucho conocimiento acerca de las prácticas de higiene de los alimentos. Nunca más.

Go here quite a lot. Lovely staff. Very clean. And great choice of food. Would recommend a visit if in the area.

La comida es buena y la primera impresión es que ellos son higiénicos como ella era poner guantes para hacer comida que es genial. Sin embargo, ella manejar el dinero con los guantes en así que tipo de derrotó el propósito. No es una cosa importante a algo que me di cuenta
