Great fish & chip shop, staff always friendly. Very busy. Only downside is I wish it opened every day for a bit longer.

Best chippy I've had in a long time. I would go as far as saying its the best chippy in the area and for miles around it. Fish cooked to perfection, chips are the best chippy chips I've eaten. Can get very busy, but shows how good it is. Friendly staff and helpful with any questions asked. Highly recommended!

Consistently excellent, I can never decide between fish & steak pudding, as both are amazing. The staff are efficient, & always ask if I’m having fish on arrival so they can stay ahead of the game. The lunchtime specials are a great price, especially since Covid when prices everywhere have inevitably risen. Always a small queue, but for a very good reason. 😊

Used this chippy for years. Staff are always polite and super friendly. Good old fashioned chips and good selection of food even for kids.

Athough its not on my doorstep this is a chippy well worth travelling to . the fish and chips were lovely and a good size portion too . the staff were happy smiley and enjoy a bit of banter and very helpfull

First time using the app today although a regular of the chippy. Couldn’t fault it food arrived piping hot and delicious as always. Didn’t fancy queueing today so having the app is a major advantage and the food arrived in less than half an hour. Will definitely order again

Just tried Mr Chips after always seeing it was popular. Downloaded the app and ordered - was delivered in less than 30 minutes. Great chips, cooked to perfection, massive fish - regular size - and quality Rag Pudding. Highly recommended

Portion sizes used top be average but now you are served without the Polystyrene Tray you get even smaller portions of chips, not cheap either. When you are trying to feed and office full of men, things like this did not go down well. Our office will be going elsewhere in the future.

2nd visit today. Both times so far, excellent. Absolutely delicious. Good size fish, and small chips is still a generous portion. Very happy!

Well was hungary and could not be bothered to cook, tried again, I should have known better from my previous reviews. Will I ever learn that a lepord rarely changes its spots. Luke warm mushy peas and Chips cut like cut off finger nails. I have never to date seen a throng of people waiting to be served. It could with right staff be a right goldmine. Needs a change in staff and or management.

Great fish and chips - as a couple of people have mentioned it can be busy on a Friday near to closing, but I take that as a good sign! Just be warned it closes at 7. I'd recommend not getting there at 6:50 as they'll be starting to close up so they can go home.

Brilliant! Food excellent, service quick and professional.

Called in again, and was just being to lazy to cook, place was clean and quiet, that really should have given me a warning. Staff was pleasant and clean in appearance, but this is not really what makes a chippy in my eyes, its the food. Well have to say, chips, was like the DREGGs from the bottom of the chip pan and the peas cold, not sure what fish was served, but it was so small it would have been better in the sea to grow much more, especially for the price that was charged. Well my chippy days seem now left to adlington, and standish areas.

This is a good chippy but the only downfall is u waiting too long. They serve 1 person at a time but got 7 staff. Even though everything i want is ready they just not on the ball as much. They no that they gonna sell 20 fishes in next 10 mins but just make 1 at a time

Through the shop and into the eatery. Just £3.95 for Fish(cod or haddock) including peas and a mug of tea or coffee. Great tasting. Even better deal on Pensioner day.

Mi marido ha estado viniendo a patatas fritas más Viernes por el Sr. unos meses. Después de haber probado otras tiendas Chip previamente, este es el mejor con diferencia. Tenemos el abadejo, 1 grandes y 1 pequeños. El pescado es insuperable, frito en una masa de luz, muy sabrosa, como son las patatas fritas no grasienta, sabroso, y me encanta la salsa de curry. Me dijeron que el servicio es rápido y eficiente. Siempre hay una cola que lo dice todo, un lugar muy popular, debido a la excelente calidad de sus productos. Relación calidad-precio sin duda. El personal trabaja muy duro. Un grande gracias a ellos.

We have been here a few time for our tea but we have takeaway,my favourite is their own steak pudding delicious and the chips are good too,my hubby always as the fish which is lightly battered.The produce is always fresh and very tasty.would recommend

El personal es muy amable y aunque siempre hay una cola de salida de la puerta debido a la calidad de la comida, que cae como relámpago como siempre hay un par que sirve. Siempre hay un suministro fresco de comida recién preparada y una gran variedad. Se puede comer o salida. A mi nieta le encanta ir para ella 'patatas fritas y salsa y salchichas - en - es - propio". El personal es paciente y deje que su pedido para ella. Primera clase y digno de un hotel 5 estrellas!

Donde se trate de patatas fritas, he tomado al azar de Skipton y viajes volver sólo para conseguir decente, que es una hora de patatas fritas o conducir dos de Horwich, así que podría decir que conocen la buena patatas fritas. Hace años, el bistec y el riñón los budines eran producidos localmente en Horwich en fábrica greenhagh y sabía mucho mejor que el barato Holland es basura puede conseguir desde cualquier "fish and chips", que es lo sirven ahora. El pescado es demasiado caro para el tamaño cuando Jon está preparado por la carretera hace mucho más grande, pero no la tierra. Pero la peor parte de este lugar tiene que ser el personal!! Llamé a la hora del almuerzo de pescado, patatas y guisantes. La junta Chalk sobre el mostrador leer "el almuerzo: pescado y patatas fritas £3,35 " así que pedí que y guisantes (60 p) pero nos cobraron 4,55 libras en lugar de £3,95 .

En mi opinión es porque las patatas fritas son los mejores que yo creo que es debido a que la grasa de la que son cocinadas en, y para que produce las mejores patatas fritas. También una antigua favorita de minas, la Vieira como no hay muchas "fish and chips" es tomar el tiempo para cocinar. El pescado es insuperable frito en una pasta ligera. El servicio es muy rápido, incluso tienen una pequeña área en la parte trasera para cenar
