I used to come in here all the time as I worked in the area. Place has gone very downhill recently, management seems like they have no clue whats going on... sad to see as the bar staff were lovely. Pub and the quality of food as a whole has declined massively.

This is one of my locals, a nice atmosphere. Food quality is decent at best - I've had one particularly good experience (sticky toffee pudding) but the mains are on the stingy side for what you pay. At my last visit, they ran out of mashed potato and served me a few chips instead. For £20 I felt a bit short-changed - they could have asked me beforehand as I would have changed my order if they had told me.

Well what can you say about this so called Sunday lunch for four!! Gravy insipid, shrivelled chicken, two potatoes one carrot and a slop of Kale. This you charged £24 with a coke!!!! Absolutely disgusting. I really hope your customers see this and think twice. This was four girls who were embarrassed to say anything, I can only say I am glad I wasn’t there.😡

I recently visited Mulberry Tavern, and it was an unforgettable experience. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, and the food is absolutely delicious with a great variety of dishes to choose from. However, what made my experience truly exceptional was Kayleigh, one of the staff members. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her warm smile, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel so welcomed. Kayleigh’s knowledge of the menu and her recommendations were spot-on, showing her passion and dedication to her role. I can’t wait to return, and I highly recommend asking for Kayleigh if you want a five-star experience.

It was a cute place! But they closed 2 hours early, and told us this right after buying drinks, giving only 20 minutes to sit and finish before being asked to leave. Closing time should say 9:00!

We were pleased to get a late booking here for Sunday roast. The pub is nice, but the music is a bit loud for a small group to be able to talk. The staff were nice and the roasts were standard fare; the beef was a bit tough and the gravy thin for my liking. And sadly there was no more Yorkshire puddings left on the service! But it was all good enough to be happy with and the price was reasonable.

Poor. Wouldn’t go back. Ordered two roast dinners. Had already run out of Yorkshire puddings and cauliflower cheese when we ordered food at 1.15pm. Sorry looking Bloody Mary. Small and £12.50. Had to ask barman to add a stick of celery - which he snapped with his hands to fit the glass. Rarely leave bad reviews but there’s far better pubs available in same area: Kings Arms, White Hart etc.

Wow, this has certainly gone downhill, had lunch based on two previous brilliant experiences at the Mulberry Bush. Service was extremely poor, food decidedly average. My American visitors were appalled at the service and couldn’t care less attitude of the staff. Steak was incorrectly cooked and tough as old boots. I’ve been quick to heap praise and recommendations to friends and family in the past but wouldn’t frequent here again. Such a shame as it was so good previously

Ordered the Sunday roast. Quite a small portion and meat not delicious, gravy watery, potatoes dry, vegetables portion too small and not well cooked. Our entire table of seven were quite disappointed. I noticed that a recent review from a week ago that the owner said they would pass along previous criticism of the roast to the kitchen staff. It doesn't seem like they've got the message. The sign said that it was the most mouthwatering roast, it was more like the most overcooked roast. Staff were quite kind and service was good. It's quite a nice pub.

Booked a table after attending an event at the Southbank centre. Despite being largely empty, we were crammed into a tiny table, right by the toilets. When I asked to be moved I was told all tables were reserved. No menus on table & only bar service available. Staff seemed very disinterested. Lots of the dishes we tried to order were unavailable. We eventually both opted for a roast, which would have been nice, except it was stone cold. Won’t be going back

Staff on phones, no eye contact, no smiles, staff doing as least as possible when quiet. No clearing of tables, no awareness of customers. I initially asked whether it was table service or self service. The manager said “whatever you feel!” Mmmm

Visited for Lunch, good location and a nice pub however it was really let down by the food. Seafood platter was 90% batter and the prawns had been battered in their shells so were inedible. I raised it and was told “this is how they come”. Great for a drink, not so great if you want a meal.

We had the fish fry selection. Long on batter short on fish and taste. The giant prawn was covered in batter and had its head tail and shell on (under the batter). We gave up trying to eat it after a mouthful of prawn head . When we asked we were told "it always comes like that". Nice decor. I don't think we will be back. OK for a drink but I would go elsewhere for food.

A lovely looking pub especially in the sun when the front is open. The staff member I ordered from didn’t say a single word in the entire transaction. I was served a 50ml “double” when they are a 35/70 pub (I checked their printed drinks menu). When I challenged they said that is their standard. They did rectify in the end but I don’t really want to drink in a pub that I know is ripping off any customer that doesn’t know measures.

Great find, well worth walking around to see what is around Waterloo. Great beer, brill food, and staff were full of joy and happy to talk about the local area. It's london, so prices are high, but this was better than many in the city and it has good old British character. As a tourist, I felt very welcome, and please do try the crumble.
