Great service and amazing food by Mike , jay was exceptionally helpful. Really enjoyed our breakfast was extra helpful lovely barmaid, and Niki is the best general manager this pub has had in years

Food was delicious Service was 10/10 We was serviced by paige and she was lovely and polite.

Came on 3rd march with my family, food was delicious, the lady paige who served us and delivered our food was well manned and poilte will definitely come back.

Party of 3, had a great breakfast this morning, compliments to the chef. Good value and a very clean restaurant/pub. Will definitely be back.

First-ever visit Food was good and service , a few minor things could have seen 5 stars ( slightly hotter food/plates )

We booked a table for 6 adults plus two children, on 2/3/2025, for a birthday celebration meal for my mother in law. Used the Green King app to order food rather than go to the bar, given no options for chips or jacket potato or salad or peas with the gammon, came with jacket potato and salad which disappointed my 7 year old nephew. Adults all had roast dinners (both the Turkey and Beef Sunday dinners have processed meats on them, not proper Turkey and Beef off the joint), pigs in blankets side orders, only a few of the sausages had bacon wrapped around them?😡 Only two people ordered sides and we ended up with 6 plus 4 lots of cauliflower cheese which we had not ordered. Starters came out really quickly. No service check completed, sat for ages for mains which when we chased,waitress stated just plating up. Arrived 5 minutes later, dinners just about warm,obviously sat for too long in the kitchen, again no service checks completed. Needless to say we did not stop for dessert. The menus and drinks list that were on our table, had remnants of previous customers meals on them, including tomato sauce! Come on, please give the menus a wipe down periodically, not a pleasant sight when you come to order food!!! We all left disgruntled with the food and service we had received, which completely ruined a family celebratory event. We will not be returning!!!!

On our recent visits, the dining experience has been disappointing. When we have made reservations, we have been seated at unclean tables. The restaurant’s food wait time app is inaccurate. It appears that orders for people with only mains are prioritised over people who order starters and main courses, which may not be entirely accurate but certainly reflects our last two visits . We did lodge a complaint on the day of our visit, and the manager did come to address the issue. However, it is evident that feedback is not valued, as I mentioned two simple suggestions that could have improved the service: informing customers of potential delays when seating, as the app is unreliable, and conducting a check at the end of each meal when a complaint raised to check if every thing was ok. This is only my opinion and reflects the last two visits.

Lovely pub,we had rump steak and were a little disappointed. It was very tasty but, the meal was slightly cold and meat VERY fatty. Staff were excellent, we visited another Greene King pub in Coventry two weeks ago and the difference was evident.

Went for Sunday roast with the family and it's definitely not worth it. Foods such as roasties, pigs in blanket and yorkies were frozen from a shop and overcooked dry. Lovely place and staff, shame about the food quality.

We were served by Natalie, she was wonderful and had a very wlecoming and friendly personality. She was extremely helpful and polite. We got our food quickly and felt as though we were truly looked after. I highly recommend!

Really good food for the price, but more importantly really good service especially from one of the younger lads McKenzie. Keep up the good work mate, you really make the place stand out 👌

The food was poor. I ordered the banging katsu meal. Arrived without the katsu sauce, chips were cold nuggets were cheap, rice was dry and everything was covered in a dry salty powder. My partner had the lamb flat bread which was overcooked and cold! I complained about my meal twice and the waiter/waitress left to sort it but never returned. This is not the first time I have said this but I will never eat at a hungry horse again.

Very friendly team lead by Niki , we were staying at the Hilton locally but we wanted something more lively, on arrival at mount pleasant we were made very welcome , the food we ordered was served quite quickly for such a busy service and was good quality and value ,

What a great place to eat very welcoming staff are very friendly nothing to much trouble for them. Our meals came out hot and well presented thank you to the chefs tertia not sure on the other chefs names I will be back to visit again

The mount Pleasant is a lovely local pub with a great atmosphere.The food was spot on and all the meals came out together and were hot. The staff are great but one member of the staff Lauren was outstanding. Her customer service was above and beyond. She was extremely friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble for her. Lauren made our visit which was for a birthday very enjoyable and we will definitely be back in the future.

We went for breakfast to set us up for a day of birthday celebrations. My Eggs Benedict was absolutely delicious, top marks to the chef, would highly recommend this. When the staff realized it was my daughter's birthday they all said happy birthday to her, a lovely touch to make her feel special.

The full English breakfast at £ 7.79 plus an additional £1.29 for a teeny piece of toast is a total rip off. The same breakfast is £4.99 on the breakfast menu, which we missed by a few minutes.

We always use this pub, the food is great, staff are lovely, nice atmosphere

I visited with a friend, easy parking , you. enter your registration number on the terminal. It was Friday lunch time and it was fairly busy. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were friendly. We ordered food and drinks at the bar , the food arrived about 15 minutes later and was perfect. I would definitely visit again when in the Coventry area or passing by on the M69 or A46 as it's only 5 minutes from the motorway junction. Recommended.

Good food, warm atmosphere, good drinks and food came out quick so overall a really good night, highly recommended :)

I came with my 3 older children, my meal was brought to my table 10 minutes after the first two meals were brought out. The food was at best tepid withthe exception of the side dish of macaroni cheese. My drinking glass was filthy, i tried to clean the inside and rim of the glass with a napkin and water and ive attached a photo of the napkin!!! Needless to say i wouldnt drink out of any of their glasses as the replacement was just as dirty. I ordered steak with chips and peas, and all i ate was the lukewarm steak, the waitress picked up our plates and didnt mention the food left and for the first time ever in my 57 years i was not asked if everything was ok! I came here regularly in 2024 and never had an issue before, so im hoping this is a one off, but i will stick to bottled drinks in future or bring my own glass, this may seem over the top, but i have cancer and am immuno suppressed so i have to be careful of infections so i dont think it is, its my life im risking going out to eat.

If you're staying in the nearby hotel, it's a short walk. Nice food , friendly pub

Fantastic experience at Mount Pleasant. The food was lovely, hot and fresh and great value for the amount of food you get, and I usually enjoy bigger portions. Our server was Jemma, she was very friendly and attentive to our needs, and took time to give personal recommendations too.

Very poor slow service , drinks had tiny flies in them when I took back to bar saw loads. Flying around the drinks . Waited 20 mins for small pot cheese and bean after asking once that we was waiting as was for a child . Staff flagging customers off at tills portions very small had about 10 chips on my plate of fish n chips . Tables were all sticky wil not go back

Lovely service overall evertime. Last week I had a different waitress (J) it wasn't so good and I was extremely disappointed. Glad to have my normal waitress back.

Our go to spot…. always great food with fantastic service from the staff, a true family friendly pub. Jemma served us on our last visit and she was so welcoming, friendly and attentive. We had a great time and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Awful, no drinks service in the restaurant. Booked a works Christmas meal 3 months in advance. Came on the night, can’t order drinks as part of the restaurant booking. You can only order drinks at the bar. Avoid at all costs!!

Stopped off for a quick bite on our route home. We found an empty table and booked through the app. Our drinks arrived quickly and served by a pleasant staff member. The food arrived soon after and was piping hot and delicious. The pub facilities were very good with a good layout and restrooms were lovely and clean. Only negative was it was very busy and the carpark was very tight.

Jhanie was really helpful and professional, always happy and makes us always feel welcome when we visit the mount pleasant. She’s a credit to the mount.

Popped in for a quick pre-match breakfast. Well, for the first time in a very long time of trying out numerous pub restaurants; I actually had a HOT breakfast. Egg-hot, beans-hot, mushrooms-hot Bacon-Red hot and hash browns-Red hot. Cracking 👌

My visit to the mount pleasant, was so delightful, was served by a lovely young lady Jay, she was so polite and so helpful, the food was beautiful, definitely will be coming back

5pm leaving the hospital, 2 hour drive in rush hour to get back to the Black Country, decided to call in at the local Greene King called "Mount Pleasant" . Excellent decision 👏, superb "Chicken Newyorker" great service from Mille.

Delicious and excellent value breakfast with cracking service. Jemma was so so helpful, smiled and had good manners (fundamentals of customer service) and Tayla cooked me a breakfast to keep me going for the rest of the day. Thank you.

Unfortunately, we had terrible service today 10/11/24. Waited over an hour for our drinks, asked for them 3 times but ignored. Eventually when someone finally we got our drinks after we had finished our food. One meal arrived and as it was being eaten a big hair was found, meal returned and refunded but no acknowledgement of the terrible service or apology. Won't be returning.

Great service but unfortunately let down by the food, my wife had the tandoori sizzler which wasn't a sizzler, peppers and onions looked like they had been boiled, sauces were missing as well, sent it back and got a fresh one, I had the lamb kofta flatbread and the meat was like cardboard. Very disappointing.

I really enjoyed my meal. The service was very good. The waitress danielle made me feel comfortable and was very helpful.

Popped in to join a family gathering, without warning as a surprise. Jemma, dropped everything and dealt with our request to join their table whilst dealing with everything else. Everything was great and going back for Sunday lunch next week. Hopefully Jemma will be there!

Came for a meal with my daughter. The food was lovely. Nice friendly, family orientated pub/restaurant. The service I received was greatly appreciated, i was served by a waitress called Danielle. She was friendly, chatty and very smiley which you like in a very busy established.

Absolutely lovely food had 4 kids with me and they were well looked after by staff and they loved their food are server was a girl called Danielle and I couldn’t fault her one bit she was so polite and really made us feel welcome making sure we had everything for the kids and are selfs! Went to eat and watch the football! Some old men held the remote and staff were scared to ask for it !! Eventually asked and they said no , so we left and couldn’t go back to our local as these men are in every week dictating to the staff ! Gutted we now have to find somewhere else

Ate here this week and Pleasantly surprised under new management the place is looking so clean and tidy staff are alot more Assertive and food came out quickly with all items and very hot my Waitress was called sarah and honestly couldn't do enough for us she made us feel so welcome and we will definitely be back 😀

I recently visited mount pleasant, had a pleasant experience. The service provided by Jemma was excellent—she was attentive and friendly. Visited for lunch with friends today (fri 23/10) We were all impressed with the service, friendliness of staff & the quality of food from the classics menu. My wife enjoyed the fish & said it was beautifully cooked (thank you chef White). I had a proper pie i.e. it had a bottom & not the usual puff pastry top served in other places. Thank you & we will definitely be back

Had a breakfast there, absolutely beautiful.

Very nice food a well cooked steak sizzler. They always seem to be out of sauvingon blanc though but a nice glass of red instead. We go probably once a month and have never had a bad meal and if there is going to be a food delay they do tell you at the point of order. The bar can be a bit slow at times but the staff are friendly.

We popped in before we made the long journey back to Norfolk after seeing friends. We were recommend to come here and we were not disappointed. Had an enjoyable meal and we were served by Jemma who was a pleasure to be with. Made a real effort to engage us especially with our daughter. Thank You for a nice experience.

Usually visit 2 or 3 times a week for a pint or two.Today I visited early morning for a full english breakfast,was greeted by the ever cheerful Jemma who quickly took my order and a little later brought my meal.It was really nice tasty and hot.Place seemed clean and tidy I enjoyed my visit.

Been here several times for breakfast, mega breakfast cannot fault it. Very clean not greasy all top ingredients not cheap sausages. Chef deserves credit.
