The food was very good and the drink was reasonably priced. We like it because it is one of the few places you can get Indian food before 5 pm . The only downside is parking in this area of Coventry.

I feel that I was purposely lead astray. Very upset to be honest!!!! Upset that it's everything but what I was told.... *Venue.- Amazing. 2 floors etc *Food.- I'd absolutely eat here again! *Drink.- Cannot express how cheap drinks are!!! * Perfect place to chill with friends when you're broke. *Perfect place to chill with friends when you're trying to save money. *Perfect place to enjoy LIVE sports, meet women on ones level, and just be yourself with "less obligations🤣" I recommend!!!! Experience it for yourself. Different times, and different days obviously however......😅😅😅😅😅😅😅. Full stop 🛑

I'm not ashamed to say that I expected very little about this place and had preconceptions that were wildly wrong! The staff, atmosphere and food were all amazing. Service was excellent especially the lady who ensured I had more salad so thank you. My husband's lamb balti was succulent, tasty and authentic. My tikka naan was delicious and my stepson's nuggets were perfect especially for £1! Will definitely visit again and recommend to all. Can't believe that I was so wrong about this place. Highly recommended!

Great place to eat the food was delicious cant wait to come again. They have really good prices for food and drink. The interior has been well designed great place to come and watch the football!

Second time we have had a meal here and we can't fault the food at all. The only gripe we have is the fact that they send the plates out before the meal, we prefer the plates coming out hot as it helps to keep the food warm as we are eating.

First time in here. I immediately felt comfortable. The atmosphere was amazing. Food was quick out and delicious. Would highly recommend this pub and will frequent when next in the area.

I order from them via deliveroo and the food is awesome. The one time our deliveroo person mixed our orders, they were very accommodating.

One of the worst Indian food experiences. The dal and curry were tasteless and filled with oil. The naans were undercooked and thick. Please avoid if you are looking for authentic vegetarian Indian food.

Usually the service is really good but the delivery person didn't follow instructions and left my food with reception and the woman I talked to over the phone was MEGA rude! Never ordering from here again.

ordered curry and rice but the rice never came. ordered a cheese bacon burger which was meant to have mayo on it but it had a black sticky tar-like sauce on that was disgusting...kind of vinegary. tried to scrape it off but it had soaked into the bun.

Nancy was a perfect waitress, food excellent, service top notch. We have been coming here for a couple of years and it never fails to deliver

I have a few things that wasn't the best... when making a reservation you can pick where you would like to sit, that was a waste of time because I didn't get yhe seat I asked for.. The food came really quick I was abit over whelmed usually ime use yo getting my starter of poppadoms 1st while I waited but after sitting fir 5 mins everything came to the table together. Considering the sizzler is there signature dish and what we was told to try I wasn't impressed. The skillet wasn't sizzling I could put my fingers on it as the picture shows the onions stayed raw but the chicken was tasty and it melted in your mouth personally disappointed with that.. we also had chicken tikka masala that was amazing I really enjoyed the curry, there was more than enough rice aswell in 1 portion for two people to share.. I will go again it was a great place not expensive but I will stick to the curry

Brilliant. Visited on opening day. Sky Blues fans will love it. Full of pictures, memorabilia, shirts etc. Big screen tv's. Will be packed on match days.

Just had our first takeaway curry from Sky Blue Tavern - a little bit more pricey than our usual takeaway but the food was amazing, portions great and delivery on time (Deliveroo) - will deffo be using SBT in the future 👍

Came for food on Friday evening and was really impressed. Our table was ready when we got there and service at the bar was quick. The food was excellent and the mixed grill portions were really good. Will definitely visit again. Great place to eat and watch the football with so many screens.

We had our daughters 18th at Sky Blue Tavern on Saturday evening and I can’t recommend this venue enough. From the moment we first enquired Dave was so helpful keeping in touch with us and updating us on a regular basis when we thought we may have to move the date due to the cup match. Although we decided to do the catering ourselves the offers on the menus available were fabulous and I can only comment on the smell downstairs which smelt incredible. Needless to say we will be trying the food there very soon. The staff behind the bar were friendly, helpful and quick and although we were a little worried we wouldn’t clear the target for the room hire we smashed it. Thank you everyone at Sky Blue Tavern we will be back 😀

Orderd from here today, the first time. We was really impressed with the curry, we had a paneer and chicken jalfraze. The egg fried rice was delicious too. Will definitely order from here again.

Been a few times now in the afternoon and never disappointed. Meals are great value for money and staff always cheerful. I would imagine the atmosphere is fantastic on a match day 😊

I ordered a prawn tika masala and the prawns were over cooked then I found a piece of chicken in my curry. I’m a pescatarian! Not pleased

My partner and I had our first meal here last Thursday and what a fantastic experience it was the food is top class we had the mixed grill to share just beautiful and we can’t wait to come back we were recommended by my son luke

Incinerated lamb chops, bone dry tasteless chicken tikka, and nans so dry they fell apart when folded. The draught Peroni beer is definitely not Peroni.

Police turned up & made an arrest from the site. Hooligans decided to shout abuse at the police on the balcony just because they could.

We hosted my husbands 30th birthday party in the upstairs function room and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! Dave was really accommodating and answered all our queries to ensure we had the best night possible. The food was great and all staff members were brilliant. Would definitely recommend the tavern!

Sky blue tavern has not only gone down hill it’s in the ditch!! Food was appalling, part boiled and burnt lamb chops, if you can call them lamb chops as the lamb was incinerated or non existent!! They bought my whole meal popadoms, starters and mains in go! Well almost waited around five mins between dishes started with the chops, popadoms, curry then nann bread. Didn’t look like the staff had any idea how to run a restaurant floor. Managers look lost!! Also no need to have rocket in the salad!!!

The food is super delicious! I'm still fantasising about the chicken tikka chips 🤤 we came for a "meet the players" event and it was really interesting. I'm not a football kind of person myself but even I enjoyed it. Definitely want to visit again and have already recommended it to others.

First time coming here with my children food was absolutely fantastic great portion sizes and even better sizes and a wonderful atmosphere and amazing staff with amazing attitude with sen children I came with my son today and ordered him a kids meals as we always do as we encourage him to try new food but unfortunately he wouldn't eat it (food was fantastic)as he is autistic and will only eat tomato pasta as its his safe food I went and asked if it was ok to serve my son the pasta that I always carry with me and they said yes and couldn't of been anymore accommodating this actually ment loads to me because normally as a family we can't eat in nice places like this due to my sons dietary requirements as normally it wouldn't be allowed so thank you so much for accommodating his need and allowing us to enjoy a wonderful meal together as a family without any stress we will definitely be back soon

We decide to come here on the night of the Preston game to check out the menu, which is highly rated and to possibly watch the match. The place was busy but they did not have the live game on (which was probably a good thing, knowing the result). The menu has lots on it and we ordered starters which came quite quick, followed not long after by our mains, we didn’t seem to be given time to finish. I had ordered a pilau rice which hadn’t turned up, so I spoke to the kitchen, before realising that it hadn’t been put on my order. When i told the woman who brought it over, this, she said to just have it, which was nice, she could have easily taken it back. Loads of food, which we struggled to eat, but flavours were amazing. Definitely a great Indian restaurant if you don’t mind sitting in a football based environment.

Went two weeks ago for my birthday and everyone enjoyed the food. Generous portions but not expensive. Loved it that much that we tried to book a table for tonight, last minute decision and they were very apologetic that nothing available until after 9 so make sure you book in advance! But all was not lost, we ordered a takeaway instead to collect. They said it could be up to 45 mins but food was ready in under 30 mins. Excellent quality again. You can find the usual curry options you would expect and then some Indian foods with a twist. Their mixed grill is definitely worth trying and also the loaded naans. Another guest from my birthday has already been back for a second visit too. We'll certainly be back for more. Thank you 😁

Both balti & jalfrezi delivered were sitting in a pool of grease & we had to pick out about 5 Star anise that was left in our mushroom rice & kemma rice & all food was near enough cold.very disappointed as we have had food from here before Christmas 2023 & it was beautiful & even though the price had gone up nearly 20% we thought it was worth the money.

Food was ok but cold as only put in cargoes boxes apart from beans and tomatoes but they still wasn’t warmest.

A fantastic place to come and enjoy food and drink. If you are Coventry city fan then it’s even better. However it is welcome for all. I have always had a great time here after many many visits . I recently had an issue which Hollie helped me with friendly and quickly. I shall Look forward to many more visits.

Down side there is no car park I would have given it 5 star car park was a let down had to park in a main road

We popped in recently for a drink & after looking at the menu decided we needed to go back. We’re so glad we did, we were absolutely blown away by this gem of a place. Beautiful food, amazing prices, the staff were lovely. Can’t fault it at all & we’ll definitely be back!

We went there on 20th December 2023. The food was amazing and so was the atmosphere. The food staff were really helpful. The guys behind the bar was great also. Would highly recommend this place. The mega mixed grill and curries were amazing. This is a sports bar so there is lots of screens to watch the games.

A little surprised by the taste. The paneer butter masala was somehow better when I had it in the restaurant during Diwali? Tasted a little like tomato puree when I had it delivered.

Poor service, food arrived cold and missing items! Called to explain what had happened, they advised me to re-order the missing items and re- pay for them!

Fish and chips at over £10 - absolutely shocking - more batter than fish and what fish there was was nuked. Clearly a boxed frozen piece and not made fresh. Only ordered due to the mix of English and Indian meals offered, Will not be ordering again.
