What a brilliant pub, staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and my kids loved playing outside on the bouncy castle. Also watched all the England football games last year here, great atmosphere and plenty of TVs to choose from. Would highly recommend

Visited with work colleagues for a Christmas get together. Highly recommended. Food was quick and tasty. Staff friendly. Loads of seating, decent size beer garden, parking available, big screens for the football and a pool table room. Will visit again.

Absolutamente brillante establecimiento local, personal increíble, Michelle el propietario es brillante, ella fue más allá para la fiesta de fin de año. Comida, caída de globo, decoración, etc todo fue increíble. Utilizamos el pub todo el año, los niños juegan en el área de juegos, en el verano hay un castillo hinchable, bandas en vivo y eventos pop up. Michelle organiza eventos infantiles durante todo el año también, Halloween fue brillante, a mis hijos les encantó. Muy recomendable a todos.

Popped in for food with friends and a few cheeky Tuesday gins. Staff were great, food was lovely. Ending up spending the evening having a laugh.

Held my dad's 60th birthday party here and as per usual was brilliant. Managements outstanding very helpful from helping set out the room to storing our food. Atmosphere was great with added bonus of dj in the main bar area for after. Cant fault this place in anyway and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great venue in good location of coventry.

Friendly staff, good selection of drinks, always a good vibe. We've never eaten there so can't comment on the food but we've popped in for a few pints and will be back

I visited again for the football, great service at the bar and we ordered meals that were nice and juicy. Some of the screens have got bigger in the lounge from the last time I visited. Worth a visit.

Management here is spot on and staff are friendly and helpful. My adult son is autistic but is confident to go up to the bar, or even visit here on his own. The garden is well kept and there is plenty for kids to do out there too. Drink and food prices are competitive and it is one of the best pubs in the area

Racist pub, got refused to be served as apparently looked under 25 without ID despite having a full beard. Was with another much older person and even got refused to be served soft drink. Manager cited "licencing restrictions for not serving under 18s before 7:30" despite other friend not being refused. Manager also laughed and smugly smiled after we left. Awful experience and humiliated after experience. Would not recommend in going, especially for people of colour given events in the past week.

My favourite pub to take the kids lovely food such a nice atmosphere wonderful staff that are always helpful bouncy castle tvs everywhere!!! This pub is probably one of the best for kids in coventry

Tonight was my first time at the New Spires and Jack the young bartender has absolutely made my night, his service and attitude is amazing. The way he had treated me and my friends tonight, we are definitely going to come back.

Absolutely horrific. Manager was incredibly rude and disrespectful. Would not recommend. Hygiene and food standard was also appalling. Priority should be customer service and this was my no means this pubs priority.

Food here is amazing great staff and an all round great pub I had a chicken kabab from the new menu preparation and taste was spot on.

Christmas Eve was full of fun for the children, games and prizes with a visit from Santa and the Grinch.. with a live music with a Micheal Bubl’e Tribute to add the festive finish for families…

Booked a private hire room for my sister’s surprise 50th. Michelle the landlady went above & beyond to make our night a great one. The bar staff were worked hard & the resident DJ was fab. Michelle also arranged for the room to be decorated with a balloon arch & decorations for the tables. We had an option for them to do the food or myself which I thought was very good as most venues make you have their catering. Couldn’t fault the evening we all had a fantastic night. Would highly recommend.

Decent local pub with a good selection of drinks and affordable menu offerings, but you get what you pay for, so do not expect high-quality food or ingredients.

Booked a table for 4, when we arrived they said they knew nothing about it and said the chef was off sick, not apologetic and didn't seem to care, we went to the Maudsley instead and had a great night.

This spot is great for food and drinks with your family or even a casual drink with your friends or on your own they have a lovely garden and a play area for children also had a bouncy castle, Food is absolutely lovely, staff are very kind and very welcoming went with my children they had loads of fun on the bouncy castle and the play area in the garden will 100% go again

This is one of the best pubs in Coventry , amazing atmosphere. Brilliant staff and management. Lovely and friendly locals. Tidy and clean, fantastic food! Amazing beer garden with bouncy castle and play area for kids. A place to definitely go back to. Welcoming to family’s , couples and would feel comfortable attending on my own. Suitable for all ages. Live Music on the Sunday was really enjoyable for everyone.

Website and noticeboard in pub clearly says one of the offers is a pie and pint for £10 on a Monday. Went in Monday lunch to be told they do not do food on a Monday. Manager not there but will be told I assume ?

Nice choice of beer and cider. A lot of TV around the floor including in the garden. Plenty of sitting spaces. Great place for food is well.

Brilliant pub and a good atmosphere.

Visited with family early evening on a Saturday expecting a family friendly atmosphere. What a shock to find the place full of drunken larey patrons. The bar staff were attentive; one looked like she'd had enough of the noise, however another bar member seemed to be encouraging the behaviour. Real shame as the food was tasty and cooked well. Menu was fairly limited, unfortunately no cottage pie, but standard pub grub otherwise which we all enjoyed. Didn't stay for drinks after eating, we usually would when dining out, it was just too loud for a family outing.

Food was well below par Ordered pulled pork loaded fries Came out with a mouth full if that that of pulled pork and what looked like Tesco sweet chilli sauce splattered all over it . Asked the lady to take it back , but she came out with anew one saying " they've weighed it and it's correct but we've added more for you " Barely edible for the amount of chilly sauce they'd piled on it , I had to smother it in mayo to make it edible My children's meal was more appetising .ll

Had a lovely lunch yesterday with my friend, her daughter and my daughter. The service was quick and friendly. The manager Michelle was warm, lovely and interacted with the kids. She even blew up the bouncy castle just for them to play on! I had the prawn super salad and it was delicious!

A great pub with lots of atmosphere, an excellent selection of beers on tap. The food menu is great and very reasonably priced. Parking is no problem, with plenty of spaces 👍😎

Oh dear, not sure how this has a rating of 4.3. I must of come on their worst night or thier usual clientele has very low standards, take your pick and chances. Just go for drinks and watch the football would be my recommendation.

I have a regular lunchtime meet with a few of my old mates...we're all retired and just enjoy the weekly chat and putting the world to rights..... The pub and its proprietor, Michelle is doing a great job.....the atmosphere is bright and lively and very friendly with exceptional bar staff.... The standard of the food has improved significantly. I would highly recommend coming along on a Sunday for a roast dinner, cannot fault it at all. Also, there is plenty here for children to do. As well as a small outdoor play area, they even have a bouncy castle. For the adults, the pub has TVs everywhere, even outside so ideal for watching any sporting events. There is also a decent pool table and darts. Overall, a great local pub which I’d certainly recommend over any other pubs in the vicinity.

We have tried to eat here 3 times hopeing and praying that we would find something on the menu edible to our disappointment . Un cooked frozen chicken curry , over cooked and burnt scampi , in edible hard as rock burger buns and uncooked...

Disappointing visit First time eating here wouldn't recommend the food. Reheated chips and rubbery mushroom
