Had a lovely steamed seabass curry dish along with an amazing steak and béarnaise sauce. Attentive servers and lively atmosphere! Will def be coming back 😇

EDIT. visited today and was hair in my food but they still added the sneaky £20 service charge on bill AND accepted a tenner cash. Sneaky. If somebody complains about the food why not remove the charge. Once more, why then accept more cash. Wont be back again. Wasn't very impressed when I first laid eyes on vegan menu but my gosh it was so flavoursome :) tagine was brill. Good vibes , nice server

Walked in on new years eve for a drink. Lots of empty tables and nobody at the bar. Told if you don't have a booking you can't have a drink. Won't be going back there with that attitude.

My friend and I have been regular customers here but we have witnessed a decline in service level during our last 2 dines. In previous visit, we waited for our bills for eons! The staff were chatting away near the kitchen while we sat across waiting in their clear view but it took my friend walking over to them to request for the bill. Today, I requested for hot water and was served in a dirty cup. When we alerted the waiter, he nonchalantly asked if I would like another cup of hot water, not even an apology. Utter disgusting! We have resolved to take our customs elsewhere next time.

Lovely cosy environment with view over Christmas Ferris Wheel and lights in city centre. Food was taste and quality over quantity. Christmas pie is worth a visit on its own! Cocktails were nice Broad range of customers for an evening and no loud music so you could hold a conversation.

Overall a terrible night; me and my wife met my wife's cousin and soon to be husband for what was meant to be a long overdue catch up for some food and drinks. The food was freezing cold, upon returning this back it took just shy of 45 minutes to get out the meals back again. To get any service here as a restaurant customer you either have to wave a flag or wait for a long time. The food was honestly shoddy considering the cost. Its not a place to go to eat, keep it as a cocktail bar. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars for service is the waitress gave us one free round of drinks and 10% off the bill without us having to ask but then I wonder how often this is the case as most restaurants quibble at being asked this whereas this was happily given without a second thought. Keep the place as a bar and remove the tables pronto! We shall not be returning.

Attended yesterday evening for a works festive meal. Table was 25 minutes late, starters took over an hour to arrive, starter platter was lovely to be fair no complaint there. Drinks requests not taken at table, had to order at bar. Mains arrived, one parsnip, one carrot, mash and christmas pie. Veg was cold, pie tasted lovely but there was no filling in anyone's pie, just a thick creamy sauce, no meat, no veg, nothing of substance, glupy sauce ran out all over everything. Really quite unpleasant. Overall very poor.

Cosy Club is the perfect spot for a relaxed meal and catch-ups with my daughter. We both love this place, from the beautiful decor to the absolutely delicious food. The smashed avocado on sourdough is our favourite—a pure piece of happiness, smooth and flavorful on perfectly crunchy bread. It’s basically the hero of the menu for us. The atmosphere is always so pleasant, and the service is exceptional, especially from Lubos, who makes each visit even more special. All of this keeps us coming back ♡ mili & emily

Service was excellent!! The bartenders and floor staff were very kind and responsive. Their menu was vast, and I ordered the cod and chips (and swapped for fries). It tasted very nice. However other people in my party ordered the Ragu pasta and burgers and felt the food was just okay, not above and beyond.

Extremely bad experience, we went to their place and they made us wait for 15mins as the person who was supposed to attend us continued to remain on call gossiping with someone. Went to another staff but they refused to attend. This was when the restaurant was completely vacant.

Really bad service by the staff at reception. They made us wait for 10 mins while I was pregnant and the guy was on phone refusing to acknowledge that we are waiting for him to attend us. No attendance by any other staff and we ended up leaving after 10 minutes of wait. I wouldnt return back for their bad service.

2024, breakfast or as it turned out, a batch. Asked for a window seat to look out but was ushed and told other tables were dirty. With my back to window, shows they do not listen. 2022Really not my sort of place but it's breakfast with family. Do they do eggs sunny side up, apparently not. Not quite St Marks Square, Venice

Food is always top quality, smaller menu than other places so quality over quantity here. Service is always top notch, and they really take care about the customer. Summer who served us tonight was exceptional and very pleasant. (Give her a bonus) Love the atmosphere, nice and bustling and the lighting is perfect, nice and dark and atmospheric.

Racist staff!! I decided to take my family of 6 to cozy club and was appalled by how we treated. The bartender was visibly rude. No thank you no please aside we all felt hostility from her. She was visibly annoyed at having to serve us and argued with us about how many cups we requested which is a bizarre thing. For an expensive place like this, the service really needs to better or at least non hostile. I really don't understand the reason other than we were Asian as we were quiet and didn't make obscene demands. We were all uncomfortable and wanted to leave as soon as possible and it ruined our birthday evening. I get that people have bad days and working a low paid job is difficult but you are in a SERVICE industry which means you shouldn't argue with your customers about simple things like how many cups they requested. It wasn't just the bartender either. I approached the other lady whose JOB it was to clean tables that our table had water and needed cleaning, she just looked at me and said "yeah ok wait" rudely and she never came to clean the table. I don't know if its cultural mismatch as both these ladies were eastern European but this is not how you should treat customers.

This was the single worst experience I’ve ever had, not just for breakfast, but in life. Imagine waking up and deciding to start your day with a plate of utter misery. The coffee tasted like it was brewed in the depths of a sewage plant—cold, bitter, and inexplicably chunky. The eggs were somehow both raw and burnt, with a texture reminiscent of soggy cardboard soaked in sulfur. The bacon? Imagine chewing on strips of leather dipped in motor oil. The toast was charcoal, crumbling into ash the moment it was touched. To top it off, the butter was rancid and tasted like it had spent the night outside in the sun next to a dumpster. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the orange juice had the acidity of battery acid and chunks that definitely didn’t come from an orange. And the service? The waiter seemed as if he had crawled out of bed, resented my existence, and was perhaps considering poisoning me just to get this ordeal over with. It was a breakfast that made me question not only my choices but the existence of joy. Truly, if there were a hell, this breakfast would be served there daily. Avoid at all costs unless you’re a masochist with a death wish.

Amazing experience, lovely atmosphere, table service,order at table,the server bring everything to you,you have to go,worth every penny for that special occasion just 2 or the family,serves meat dishes or vegetarian dishes beautiful.Love it, You need to book for larger groups or even 2 people at weekends its that popular xxx

Updated this because Dennis took such great care of me today, and the breakfast I had was out of this world. I ordered the full breakfast for £11, but swapped the beans, mushrooms and hash browns for extra eggs. Boy they didn't skimp - there was even an extra poached egg on top of what's shown in the photo! It was massive, and actually a real bargain for the price. I now need help getting up from my chair 😂😂

Very nice restaurant with good food and nice atmosphere. Very good service and professional staff. They don’t have a finished ceiling tho which is weird for me but they probably wanted the “industrial” look. It’s just out of place imo. Overall, very nice

Terrible slow service. Waited 40 minutes before anyone took our food order. We ordered the bottomless drinks option but not once did anyone ever come over and offer us another drink so we paid £25 for one drink. Really difficult to get anyone’s attention. Couldn’t even convince anyone to bring us the bill for half an hour. We were just completely ignored by staff the whole time we were here

Come here a lot but the last visit which was on my birthday was very poor due to the manager. He was rude and abrupt. The lady that served us Stephanie was lovely, very professional with excellent customer service and was trying to assist us when we asked for more sauce on the very dry Asian fried chicken. The manager interrupted and stopped her and basically said this is how it is now even though we had it in august and it was very saucy and tasty. I get they were busy but no excuse for being rude. Stephanie was great and had it not had been for her I would not be returning.

Today was a very important day for us, a wedding day, and my friends and I went to drink coffee and eat some dessert, the drinks were brought quickly, but we had to wait for dessert for a very, very long time, we waited for dessert for 50 minutes, and our patience was running out and we said so that they would give us desserts to take with us, they only brought us 2 desserts, but we ordered 3, we took 2 desserts and went home, because of this our mood deteriorated very much and we were completely disappointed!!!

Honestly is a must-visit place in Coventry. Fantastic ambiance, great food and very democratic prices!

Beautiful interior, full of interesting paintings and taxidermy. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is good quality and they have a range of options for different dietary preferences (e.g., vegetarian etc).

Went in, left standing at reception to be seated whilst the staff chatted. Had a toilet break came back to my partner and still stood waiting! Left and went elsewhere for breakfast, wouldn't mind but not like they were queuing out the door.

Super cool and unique! Did the Axe throwing last year which is an awesome way to let off some steam. Totally worth the price of admission. The Crazier Golf is an experience like no other. It's super cool to hit the ball through the loop the loop, it was like playing Sonic the Hedgehog! 🎮🎮🎮

Met some friends for lunch and we decided on the cosy club. I've been here before the the food was great but this time, we decided to order multiple starters (9 in total) to munch on with our drinks. The options looked tasty on the menu, but when the food came through it was a bread fest! Apart from the prawns that tasted the best (which cost over £10 for 3 on a plate) the rest of the food was over priced and mediocre and had bread on every plate! The total was over £80, we felt conned! Won't be ordering starter again that's for sure! And not sire if I'll visit again in a hurry!

The Cosy Club will have a special place in my heart, here’s why. Not only was I able to see of of the most striking decor in any restaurant, but it was complimented by a welcoming staff and my beautiful girlfriend. We personally enjoyed the burgers, and I loved the ricotta ravioli. Again; the decor was strikingly beautiful and elegant and … well, cosy. Nonetheless, me and my partner enjoyed the food, loved the service and l felt at home. This was my last date to her and it was so beautiful, thank you.

Happy with lunch on Friday before the Godiva festival. Nice light open space to eat. Spanish chicken was great. Also good sandwich options.

Lovely themed Café/bar/restaurant where it's great to catch up with friends. Prices are moderate and the Asian Chicken Starter is well worth trying. Service could be better but no complaints as such as they were fairly busy. 🤓👍🥃🍷🍾

Great tasting food, definitely big portions and the price is relatively reasonable considering. We hadn't been to cosy club for a very long time perhaps 6 years or so. The food wasn't as good as it tastes now, the service has improved, there are some areas for improvement although understandable during busy periods. In our group of 4 we had a kids meal, vegan breakfast, a Spanish chicken and a dirty chicken burger. The wife wanted salmon but they had none, then we found out immediately that they also have no fish cake so resorted to the chicken option. I'm not one to calorie count for me the more the better, however the portion size on the food was great, a little too big for me as I couldn't finish it. But for most people this would hit the spot. The food took a while to arrive we waited about 30 minutes, so definitely get your drinks in to make up for the time. The food tasted great, we had no complaints. The lady serving us was professional and attentive to our group, the service in getting the food and paying the bill were the slowest parts. Considering we had a few places to go, I would say though the restaurant isnt exactly fast food per say, so do bear this in mind for the waiting time. However I still feel it can be improved. Overall a good experience with some improvements it could lead to being great. Would still recommend if you dont have a time constrained day.

Absolutely amazing food, glorious cocktails and great service!!

I started with the garlic prawns which were a starter share item, 3 small prawns on an unsliceable piece of toast for £9.95 was a joke. This was followed by a totally overcooked Sea Bass which was more like a crispy fish finger. The apple pie desert was an excellent choice and fully satisfying. The service was no better than good hence the overall 2 out of 5 rating.

Good place for drinks....not great at all for food. Mojito delicious....made by a guy with a bit of accent. Thank you 🥂

Went for a Sunday Breakfast’ instagram-able, dreamy & like disappearing into a new dimension’ seriously didn’t know Cov- could host something so awesome and sight friendly just in middle of town. Enjoy basking in Sun as the temperature rises. Cheers

My boyfriend ordered a burger, said it was tasty, decent portion, happy bunny. I had sesame salmon, tasted nice but the portion was tiny! It was the same price as the burger which was a lot more food. I left hungry and had to buy food elsewhere to fill me up afterwards. Ordered the pineapple and rosehip punch, tasted like potpourri!

Stopped by for lunch on a Sunday. We were seated quickly and didn’t have to wait long for the server to take our order. Both of us ordered the club sandwich with fries which tasted good and was reasonably priced. Happy to note that there was no sneaky service charge added to the bill (one of our pet hates when dining out as a couple!)

Very pleasant and typical place. Excellent food, great service! A warm, friendly place, the staff takes great care of us. I have allergies which were taken into account immediately upon my arrival, which is very appreciable. The upstairs dining room offers a view of the square.

This is really nice place, great atmosphere, good food. I had the non vegan mushroom risotto, it was great nice portion size loved it.

Went with my siblings for a meal, my sister is celiac, and I'm vegan. Options were good although no vegan dessert, only sorbet. Food arrived promptly and was piping hot

Came here for lunch and I had the pancakes with a side of fries. Would have been nice to have been given more maple syrup in the little jug. We were told it would be £1.50 for more, which is extortionate. When we declined, and our food came, my friend’s jug was full to the brim and mine was half empty. The sticky toffee pudding was way over spiced and barely any toffee sauce with the tiniest scoop of ice cream for the size of the cake. However, the Flapper Fizz cocktail was delicious.

My first visit today as a birthday treat for my partner. I ordered the barbers vintage cheddar, leek & potato pie. And my partner had the farmhouse cheddar sandwich. My partners meal was according to her amazing, however my pie was completely tasteless and I would never order it again!!

Visited Monday morning for a quick breakfast with my partner. We requested to be served and out within 30 minutes. Excellent service, great atmosphere, tasty breakfast and friendly staff, thank you!

I and my son ordered the house burger. It could not have been worse for both. We should have gone to Burger King instead!

My mother and brother were in Coventry for my brothers Graduation on Monday 13th November 2023. My mother took unwell and your Manager took amazing care of her. As a family we are eternally grateful. She managed to get back home to Scotland and after an overnight in hospital she was back to herself. Thank you the McQuade's xx

Good place to meet for a quiet drink.

Food was okay but service wasn’t great my steak was cold and it wasn’t very chewable so i asked to get it changed and they charged us for it ,usually when food is not to your liking it should be changed for free also they gave us set menu and sides were in the menu and when we ordered it they said it wasn’t part of set menu price and charged us separately for it after talking to manager we at least managed to get discount but still not pleased with whole situation .

Was a little disappointed about the information provided regarding the bottomless brunch... you HAVE to buy additional food before you can have it which was not explained and the time it took for drinks is simply not worth it *I'd phoned 5 times and not once was this explained) Otherwise a lively place and atmosphere

The main menu is small, the food portions are small for the price and honestly very disappointing dishes. Most people looked disappointed when their food arrived (once the waiters had walked away). The starters were ridiculous; garlic prawns for £9 and you got one small slice of bread (size of your palm) with 7 of those tiny prawns the size of a 10p coin. The chili chicken starter was 2 small oven breaded fillets with sauce on top... for like £8??? I wish i took photos to be honest. This place is so expensive for what you are given. We thought we'd give this place a second try and order something different but still left disappointed I would only come for their cocktails or coffee as those are actually good. Oh also, the water glasses on the table were dirty

The food and atmosphere are both lovely, it really lives up to the name! Their prices on some dishes are a little high in my opinion but everything (especially the breakfast) is high quality. The staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive.

Within it's niche of a somewhat fancy place, the cosy club does well. I've eaten there several times, and the food is generally high quality, although a flaw does occur every now and again. The decor has clearly had some effort put into it, though portraits and hunting trophies may not be to everyone's taste. The service is often not quite as fast as one might wish, but also not slow enough to complain about.

By far best of the bunch of the cathedral lanes restaurants. The food is top quality, and the service is unbelievable. The staff here are so professional and clearly know their menu so well. We were checked on a few times to see if we needed extra sauces / drinks etc. Great range of lagers at the bar and was nice to try something you wouldn't get in your standard pub.

Went for a family lunch on Wendesday, atmosphere was great, food was exquisite - best steak I've had and the waitress was lovely when I asked for the salad to be removed. Would definitely recommend the food and the strawberry mojito was lovely. The waitress who looked after our table was amazing, very attentive and friendly (even when my cousin decided to start changing the chairs around). As someone who works in hospitality I was an all around amazing experience and I appreciated all the finer details of service there. If I was a mystery guess it would have been a 10/10 experience. Please say thank you to all your staff for such a stella experience and I would definitely recommend and go again

Food was good- the vegan burger was super tasty, great vegan cheese and plenty of great fries. For me, the food was the saving grace of our visit. The staff were pleasant enough but service was not up to scratch for a place with these type of prices and the reputation they're trying to create. Felt a bit chaotic, there were no check-backs on food and we weren't offered any dessert or coffee menus when our plates were cleared and took us 45 minutes to get the bill! Go for the interesting decor and decent food, but don't expect anything more than subpar service 🤷🏼‍♀️

Got to say, how ridiculous. They only serve you the cocktails on the menu, which are unique, complicated and full of sugar. God forbid you want a regular vodka martini or cosmo. You must have a more complicated version or none at all. Why won’t you make regular classic cocktails? So dumb.

Great place to eat or just a drink. Took my kids and grandkids for lunch. Great service, nice atmosphere and well looked after by the staff.

The atmosphere, food, and service were superb. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted, our granddaughter was wished a happy birthday we were shown to our table. We were given menus and offered drinks which arrived at the table promptly. We were not rushed for our food order, but once we ordered the food arrived quickly and was hot and well presented on the plates. This was my first visit to Cosy Club, it will definitely not be our last. Well done to everyone and thank you. 😊

Although the place is quite pricy, The atmosphere is nice and there. I would like to give a shout out to our waitress Amber who could not do enough for us and she was extremely helpful! For that reason, i would come again.

Loved the food. It was different and I was surprised how good the food was. We ordered a Risotto and Massaman Cauliflower, and these are a must try.
