The bathroom was in a disgusting condition what i hope was water all over the floor but yhe stench of stale urine was horrendous! The sit in area was clean. Serving staff were ok. The one making drinks was quite condesending to my partner. Not best experience.

Clean environment and good decor. I did ask for white hot chocolate and was served something else, but everything is edible and tasty. And the staff are very friendly.

We ordered the hot milkshakes as they were something new to try. The barista started to make the first one, then for some reason threw it away, so we had to wait even longer. The place was not busy and in total their were 3 members of staff. The barista then added 'milkshake powder' to the drink. When I asked what it was, and what it was for, the individual said they were just told to add it! A senior member of staff was then asked. This person did not know what was in it, but did offer to check on a fact sheet. I was also informed that they think it makes the milk thicker, as when they tried it without it, the taste and texture wasn't the same. Not sure if their is any gluten issues with this, or allergy issues, so best to check or avoid it. I thought it odd to be adding something to someone's drink and having no idea what it was, but maybe that is just me? Back to the drinks themselves. We tried the white chocolate and chocolate hazelnut flavours. The white chocolate was very sweet, so if you like sweet drinks you will love it. For us it was a bit too sickly sweet. The chocolate drink tasted more of caramel than hazelnut, so I believe the barista put the wrong syrup in...

Always very busy, understaffed, waiting line is always up to 20min or more. It's always very dirty because it's understaffed. I would say if you rush and you don't have plenty of free time, just try other coffee shops.

My Barista Julie was absolutely lovely, her Christmas spirit was a joy to be around

Terry choc orange was delicious however, the service was slow and was not ordered. I ordered 2nd in line and they made my hot chocolate 4th. There isn’t a queue system.people line up where they like and they queue jump a-lot.

Great stop off on the way to site, great hot chocolate and the turkey and trimming sandwich is amazing

Costa is one of my favourite coffee shops. This one gets too busy on weekends but is good the rest of the time

Went there last Sunday at 5pm, sign says they close at 6pm. Joined the queue, 10 people in front of me, 1 person serving AND making drinks. 2 other staff clearing down and ignoring customers. Queue not moving after 15 minutes then guy comes over and says oh were closing in 5 minutes (regardless if we have been served or not). Gave up and left but before I did I commented to the staff that the sign says they close at 6pm, they replied saying they don't know but have been told by the supervisor that day they will close at 5 (not a real reason to close think staff just wanted to leave and go home). Complaind to Costa haven't heard back, terrible service.

So im 13 and nearly every day i come here and what happens was this guy name sam that’s works there said i cant have coffee apparently i have to be 16 what ive been to loads of costas and they never say this I think he making this up idk if they have MADE THIS policy but yh - please respond

I would like to express My sincere thanks to the staff at Costa Gallagher Retail Park in Coventry for the way they handled a very uncomfortable situation for myself and my 4 year old autistic son. On a recent visit some youths hanging around thought it would be amusing to mimic my son's stimming and his inability to express himself through words. This naturally distressed my son and left me infuriated. Thanks to Julie Franklin (manager) the matter was dealt with swiftly and decisively, eliminating a possible escalation. As I was with my family this was the right option and so I thank her and all the team for all her efforts. I want to add that Julie took a lot of abuse from these youths as well. Thank you Julie and Costa!

By mistake they got my order as take-away and I didn't get my order in a tray, so I asked for at least some side plates. Cutlery wasn't spotless. Frappe was good

A peaceful place as it was after 4 and most shops closed early on Sunday so very empty

Got a cappuccino from here, and it was like a shot of coffee and frothy milk, so frothy that there was no actual milk in the cup, the same as having a pint of beer but all frothy.

I always have a lovely coffee ☕ and I like the croissants and teacakes. My friends and me go on a Friday after we have been spinning 🙃. It's very nice bright and sunny 🌞 good atmosphere nice girls serving 👌

I went to take a regular latte as usual but there was only one staff there doing everything, which is unacceptable I had to Waite 15 mins for a coffee, very very bad they need to hire more staff people having things to do.

Shop is great but this is just to let you know that the cleaner you had working there on 30.6.23 at 1pm time was so rude, me and my mum were reading the sign because we had no idea the store was closed. This woman comes out of nowhere and interrupts ‘we’re closed.’ And walks off. Honestly so rude, she needs firing.

Great Costa staff are great. Only downfall is it can get very busy and sometimes waiting a while but that's just the nature of its location. Handy with the outside seating area too.

Poor service had to repeat that it was large three times then said it was for inside but still got it in take away cup when tried saying that maybe the staff member was having a bad day I was rudely interrupted by the female senior staff to say no they were having a great day. I personally would not go there again because staff and management need better and further training in communication and customer service skills.

The store manager Julie is miserable, rude, abrupt, and unhelpful. Julie's colleague with brunette hair is just as rude, miserable, and abrupt. I was treated terribly whilst visiting the Costa Coffee and when I told them that their attitude and tone of voice is distressing me due to my Autism I was told "don't use the disability card". I will never be using Costa again, I shall stick to Starbucks.

It's a Costa, so it has the normal food and drinks offerings. The staff were nice but seemed very busy. The decor and facilities need some maintenance though. There were bits hanging off in the toilets in particular.

Absolutely fantastic staff at this coffee shop. My little one managed to spill his babycino and the lovely girl was cleaning it all up so fast and even offered us new babycino. They are quite busy at this location every time we come and the service is always excellent! Customer orientated coffee shop, well done all of you 👍

Nice Costa, the reason for the 3 stars is that it really needs to be open later. It closes a 6:30pm, which is ridiculous. If you look at the Starbucks and Costas in London, Birmingham and even Leamington Spa, some are open 24 hours! People these days want to meet up with a friend or two in the evening without the hussle and bustle of a pub. The atmosphere is great, as is the ample parking. It would awesome if this Costa was open till at least 1am. Those people complaining about the drinks being warm and not hot, you can ask the Barista to make your drink extra hot and they will. Other than those things, this Costa is clean and tidy.

I like Costa Coffee, but did not feel comfortable at this one, nothing wrong with the food or drink, just the atmosphere.

Very busy, lucky to get a table. Coffee as always great. Wife had a Sicilian lemon muffin, she said it was scrumptious. One small gripe and that someone needs to do a better job of cleaning and clearing tables of previous customers.

A good Costa location inside Gallagher Retail park in Coventry, all the usual Costa options, they've always got my order correct and there's some shopping to be done in the same park 👍

This place is part of a fuel station handy if a quick tea or coffee needed also a woodland walk near by

I hardly come here but whenever I do the experience has been great...good customer service and the place is really clean and welcoming. Enough space to park. Covid measures are been put in place. Will highly recommend.

I have visited here before with my fiancé and had a lovely experience but the second time we visited here to have a quick stop off before shopping in the retail park we didn't have such a nice experience. We were treated quite disrespectfully by a member of staff called Rachael who works here. She was very abrupt, and didn't show much customer service towards us at all. She seemed to not want to be there and from someone in the catering and hospitality trade, I, myself know that the Customer is always right and she was just so rude. Maybe a course to brush up on her interpersonal skills would be a nice idea. I will not be using this drive in cafe until the problem is sorted. I do love my Costa coffee as well but will have to do without whilst shopping at Gallagher retail park for the near future.

Lovely warm calm atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great layout 4 stars because it's highly expensive, so unless youre well of financialy there are other places that are much cheaper.
