Decent Wetherspoons, plenty of choice and good offers.

The was tasty, but my chicken shwarma seemed like fried chicken tenders. Tasty but not the expectation.

Excellent food, went after a while but their food quality has actually improved, fries are perfect, pizza is far better than chains and delicious burgers! And at these prices wonder how they do it.

As all Weatherspoons - it is there when you need it. Can be busy and a bit difficult for staff to cope. Otherwise, good. For observing people, as well (not in a aggressive manner, though, please).

I might be a bit old, but it was really noisy. Beer was so cheap I almost fell back seeing the price

I am disabled pensioner and as it was a nice day i took my service dogs harness off and just kept her on the lead which says assistant dog on it and although the men on the door allowed me in after I explained that I am disabled and i could have showed them my blue badge if they wished I was asked by the manager to finish my food and leave the premises as he didn't believe I was disabled I only have one lung so my disability isn't visable I felt so embarrassed as I had organised a family meal out I will never use this place again it was a disaster.

What i like about spoons is you know what to expect which is always acceptable.

I picked the spoons because it's cheap and cheerful, decent beer and reasonable food. I've just had medium rare 8oz sirloin with Mediterranean salad with coleslaw, was blown away, steak cooked to perfection, tasty and good size, (quite often 8oz reduces to very small) salad extremely tasty and coleslaw up there as a very nice coleslaw. Highly recommend the fire island buffalo ale, very tasty.

Beautiful food great service and and family atmosphere

I ordered the steak, and it had steakhouse-level quality, which highly surprised me. Having visited 5-6 Wetherspoon locations mostly around London, this one stands out with the best food quality I’ve experienced. Quick service and a good atmosphere made the experience even better. Great value for money overall!

Staff pleasent, beer quality can vary unfortunately, food brilliant good portions, very pissed off about them stop stocking Laphroiag malt whisky, can be annoying getting pestered by beggars outside AND inside.

Great food atmosphere but the luke warm coffee is very poor abd poor quality.. sort it out it was always good before

Had a few drinks on a Saturday afternoon enjoying the sport.

I haven't been anywhere in UK till date that offers such delicious white sauce pasta and it is consistent in taste across all wetherspoon restaurants. Simply amazing!

Great food, fast service, friendly staff, great prices. You order & pay via QR code, makes things efficient. Huge variety of food, something on the menu for everyone! Went twice already.

Absolutely nice! A superbe selection of non-alcoholic beers, incl. German Erdinger and Adnams Ghost Ship Ale.

Ordered the same drink on the app and they managed to send a non porter drink it was only one of the waiting staff that noticed this error and even came over to say that my drink has now finished. Thank you although unable to find out her name she made the experience so much better

Run by little wanna be coppers.. Staff with cameras and attitude.. Say the wrong thing, have fun etc.. Then you are barred for life.. If you can get past the Napoleon complexed Security

We normally always visit Wetherspoons when we come to the UK (2-3 times per year), as it is excellent value, in mostly nice surroundings. We had breakfast on Friday 27th December, normally it is great, but this time it was quite cold, maybe on reflection I should have said something, but as always we were on a tight schedule. Not the best experience, but I still like Weatherspoons!

I met 2 old work mates inside the pub for our Xmas dinners but they had run out of the dinners so we chose 3 different ones and the service was excellent to your table and ordered 3 drinks aswell so merry Christmas to all of the staff who work for any Wetherspoon and have a happy new year for 2025 etc thanks

Staff were so rude to us, unbelievably awful service. It was packed and we were sat in a corner minding our own business and we constantly had staff coming over and giving us dirty looks and making it an unpleasant and uncomfortable experience. We wanted to stay longer however after the attitude we got from staff and locals we decided to leave. Bearing in mind we were here for a trip with our uni, it was a horrible experience and an awful impression of the area.

My local , nothing bad to say ever. Food and drinks great as always, greeted and served by the lovely Mathusha. Service from her was efficient and she was extremely polite. One of the cleanest branches I’ve been to and can’t wait to go again. Shout out to Mathusha once again!

Very busy wetherspoons in Watford town centre. Staff friendly. Good range of real ales. Food as usual. Can't go wrong.

This is one of the best and cleanest wetherspoon. Quick and pleasent service even when busy. I've been to many over the years and this is one of the busy and popular ones. . It's a shame it was ruined by staff backing rude people with a woke and dreadful attitude. I've been coming here for over 40 years drinking in watford pubs, but what I recently witnessed was discusting

Where ever you go in the country Weatherspoons can be relied on for consistently good food, drinks and service. Moon under water another excellent place to dine no frills good service and value for money.

Despite being incredibly busy (match day), breakfast was served quickly.

Staff at the bar really lovely and cheerful between them which was lovely to see Food was nice Only let down was I believe a kitchen worker sitting at back with her phone on very loud especially when you trying to have a chat yourself very rude if I wanted to listen to music loud I would put on my Spotify..

Popped in for a late breakfast and coffee, good food and excellent friendly service from female...is that ok ;-) servers. Plus thank you to the guy in the pale blue shirt.

We found a table quick and easy. Ordered by the app and paid easy too, lovely clean place and toilets all clean too. We had the steak, tikka masala, Burrito bowl and Korean chicken bowl. And we made room for desert which was sticky toffee and chocolate tart. All the food was delicious, delivered quickly and great price.

Food was OK I had the Christmas dinner from the Christmas menu it was £13 for a drink really average food one tiny carrot and tiny cubes of veg with mash turkey and gravy, no pigs in blankets had to ask for them as wasn't served them served with peas and no roast potatoes or Yorkshire pudding not worth £11.99

Food has gone downhill, used to be so good. But always have issues now. Usually cold. Disappointing

It's a 'Spoons! Always popular with everyone, families with youngsters especially. Using the app, which is relatively straightforward, you can order everything including drinks from your table so never need to go to the bar. It is advisable to check the Watford FC fixture list prior to your visit as it gets very busy when there's a home game on but then empties en masse half an hour before kick off. Food is relatively basic but the choice is extensive and there's always good beer on tap.

Standard weatherspoon pub, layout is okay, service is generally good but can be slow at times, tables aren't always cleared quickly. Food is pretty basic and can vary in quality. pricing is not bad, a little pricey for some.

Usually in here on Watfird matchdays. Atmosphere lively with fans and service always does well despite being busier than usual. No complaints

I was disgusted from the way the person that answered the phone. By mistake I made an order from the app and chose the wrong pub, i called after 3 minutes stating that I made an order of which I paid for... I understand it was my mistake and could not get my money back for the food and drinks I ordered but this person s approach was truly disgusting!

Place was dirty tables were not clean staff were rude! They could not be arsed people were asking for tables to be cleaned!

The beer was very good and well-made, the atmosphere was family-friendly, but the burger was the worst I've ever had in my life, very bland and flavorless.

Yesterday I noticed a CCTV camera that was IN the men’s toilets right above the 1st urinal as you walk in. I would suggest to management regardless of your reasons for putting that up that you have that removed as, that may well be against the law!! I’m not sure if they have done the same in the ladies toilets if they have then Then this needs to be escalated to the authorities!!! Unacceptable as there are also children who have to go !!!

The girl serving on the bar whilst also showing the ropes to new staff was an absolute gem and a credit to Wetherspoons. Wish I knew her name as she deserves a big pat on her back from the boss.

Very busy Wetherspoons - typical offer. Decent service. Awkward to move around when busy. Central position in High Street.

Quite a nice place, always seems busy and the only family type pub around here, although not sure if kids allowed in here, but caters for people wanting meals on a weekend and generally well run.

Worst place to visit in Watford. Absolute chaos, hair in the food, 2 dishes in a row! Replacement took 37 minutes. And guess what? It had hair in it too! Staff is extremely rude. Walking zombies not a waitresses.

The breakfast... there was a lack of beans, I have never had so few.... however when I visited the following day the fish and chips was superb

Good Wetherspoons, always good real ale but more expensive than most for some reason

Had a family lunch we ordered 2 mixed grills we had our sausage missing on both one got two pork chops one got none . Then ordered dessert two hot fudge cakes one with custard one with ice cream the custard came first it sat there for twenty minutes still waiting for desserts then they came another ten minutes later so custard had to be reheated and there wasn’t enough ice cream to go with pudding apart from that it was average.

Wetherspoons is what it is, a quick reasonable place to get a beer and snack. However it wouldn't hurt the staff (for table service) to smile..... and I would rather pay another pound and have a DECENT portion of chips with my meal.

Usually there's not much you can say about a 'spoons. They successfully churn out the same.food and drink in very similar Wetherspoon environments each with a long walk/climb to the toilets. This venue is no different. Well. Little different. I'm a fan of the mixed grill and felt the meat was a tad drier here than others. The guy that brought my drink then food to me? Great guy! Smiles and banter. The girls that walk the floor and clear tables? Devoid of character and interpersonal skills. Can't complain. Enjoyed my food and drink and watched some Olympics.

A pleasant afternoon at this venue which is a departure from our usual one in Rickmansworth. The clientele are definitely different, but we had a laugh trying to find people with a full set of teeth as we went through many double G&Ts and baby Guinness's! We left happy after a few hours and plenty of laughs. We didn't eat here but it is always consistently good at Wetherspoon pubs so we might try the food next time.

Went with friends for brunch and it's a cheap, cheerful hearty menu. Wide range to choose from. Refillable Lavazza coffee, tea, hot chocolate @ £1.57. No one chases you out. We played kalooki whilst sipping tea and spent a good 3/4 hrs there. Staff are quick, helpful and cleaning constantly. Place is spotless. Will definitely go again

I like this traditional pub. It has an area for everyone plus great food choices, great service and a wide choice of beverages. I didn't partake in the curry club specials last night, but that is one of my favourite meal outs. I went for a link4growth meeting, which kept growing in numbers. The accommodating staff just kept bringing tables and chairs for us. The staff here has always been pleasant and friendly for as far back as remember this place. Moon Underwater is a great place to meet friends or sit quietly writing reviews or reading.

First visit for about 2 years, made the mistake of sitting near the front of the building, was interrupted by a homeless man begging for loose change, this for me, coloured the whole experience, and made me quite uneasy.....( to be fair, this happened , outside the pub, while I slipped out to talk to someone)....

took an hour for my food to come after I’d ordered it and when I asked her it was out of the three times I asked they said it told me it’s coming and then the second time told me the order didn’t go through even though they taken money out of my bank account and the third time she ignored me.

We were here as tourists with local friends. Walking in we were immediately greeted by another customer which was a good start haha. The interior was really charming and I absolutely loved it! The service was top notch, there weren't any poached eggs at that moment but we were given multiple options to replace them and I had a great meal. The 2 pitchers for 15£ was also awesome. We picked the purple rain and Hawaiian punch and they were very yummy! 🤗

Just got back from doctors appointment so didn't have time for breakfast before I left ordered 2 toast and marmalade well the toast was black I sent it back the next lot was still white told the server this is supposed to be golden brown not white I sent that back as well third time lucky? It wasn't much better the reason I'm complaining I don't think the staff know how to cook toast as I've been served quite a few times with burnt black toast or near white come on toast is so easy to do why can't you get it right

First time around Wetherspoon, and worth it!
