Went to grab a drink after I got to Glossop with a friend. Happy to be told it was happy hour 5pm-7pm so cocktails for £5. Not a single one was bad but the highlight has to be the strawberry daiquiri, seriously good.

So disappointed with today, what a total letdown. £40 for an afternoon tea bottomless brunch…see picture attChed what the ridiculous excuse for an afternoon tea…with stale bread, stale scone, stale cheese cake case. No Prosecco bottles bottles for the table which is standard At any other afternoon tea with bottomless drinks, took 40 mins for 2nd drink, crazy. Happy to pay £40 more than town prices and other local in the area but this was shocking. Spoke to person of authority on the day who said he bought the bread that day, that was his only conversation. He said he would ring the owner but couldn’t get through and would give me his email Address to make contact but never did. No disrespect for staff I think there was too much out of them to manage expectations. You want to charge that amount then service and food have to match. Will not recommend or return and hope that someone contacts me with some sort Of resolution. And ran out of bottled beer and wasn’t even busy and flat prosecco for majority, one glass had fizz!!!

Very cute little cocktail bar with a good range of delicious cocktails to choose from. Live music is fab, staff are lovely, always a fun evening. I’ve also had bottomless brunch here a few times and you definitely get your money’s worth of food and drink.

Honestly, don’t hesitate to come here, the cocktails are the best we’ve ever had. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Such a warm atmosphere with great music playing. We even got treated to a tasty shot on the house :) We will be sure to return❤️

Booked our Christmas party bottomless brunch here, 35 cackling women and it was absolutely amazing! The drinks flowed constantly and nothing was too much trouble. Incredible value for money! Thank you to the team for making it such a good night for us! We left very drunk!!! xx

Popped in for drinks and to watch a solo singer, nice little intermate spot, staff friendly and helpful, sad that the evening was spoilt by a young woman who thought she could tell others how to behave during the minutes silence for the queen, it is a free country.

Yesterday myself and nine other ladies booked a bottomless brunch for a Hen Party in the upstairs room. The bar was so full downstairs too with a few other groups and there was a delay with our food (one of the guests has a nut allergy too so they wanted to ensure there was a clean before her food was prepped.. amazing.!), but the food was worth the delay. The staff were very apologetic and really looked after us the whole time - nothing was too much trouble and they were chatty and smiley throughout, even though they were crazy busy.! Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a great night with my husband & 22 year old son. We shared a gorgeous mixed platter and the cocktails were super fresh and served by a lovely friendly girl . There was a great atmosphere too with live acoustic music during the evening.

The staff cannot do enough for you! The cocktails are the best in glossop- the only place that they use fresh ingredients and they will make anything not on the menu and even each one as a virgin! The charcuterie and cheese boards are epic! Presentation is outstanding. My new favourite place in glossop. The GM Luke is so friendly and welcoming, can’t wait to come back 😊

Called in for a nice little cocktail whilst visiting Glossop, was my favourite bar when it was Isaacs! Very unwelcoming. We hadn’t booked a table, given 2 choices you can sit here or here! No problem. Waited for service! Waited, Large booked table walked in received menus, and drinks whilst we were waiting. Walked out without my cheeky little cocktail. Unless you’ve ‘booked’ avoid! Expected a nice cocktail after the absolutely drunk women fell out of the door! Disappointed

We called in for a couple of drinks on a night in Buxton. There was a great buzz to the place. Didn’t have to wait long at the bar. Prices were good - we tried the titanic ale and gin.

Eight of us went for a meal upstairs here at the Indian restaurant. We all left full and very happy and even two of us had a doggy bag. From when we arrived we had a good time, good choice of drinks available, we sat and chatted for a short while, landlords came to say hello and before we knew it, it was time to head upstairs to our table. They already had a larger table in who were tucking into food that smelled great. We were given menus and left to peruse. Once we had all ordered the food didn’t take to long to come out and myself and partner had a sharing platter which was incredible. Portion sizes were good and I don’t think we had an unclear plate between us. One of the guests ordered all their food without coriander and they were great at adhering to this. The main courses also did not disappoint, we had a good selection of a chicken tikka masala and chicken curry to the more spicy dishes of a vindaloo. The rice and naan’s were also good and the cost was not too bad either. I would recommend this place for a nice curry if you are partial to the Indian cuisine. Staff were friendly, child friendly too as we had a 7 year old with us. My only criticism I can give, is having to go downstairs for drinks but it didn’t hinder our experience as we just timed it right between courses.
