Summary: Quality, creativity and welcoming. This evening, we were lucky enough to stumble in just after the menu had been revamped. Oh my gosh, it is so rare to find creative and quality food locally. Well, they’ve levelled up. 👍 The site is very warm and welcoming, with professional staff and a fascinating menu. We had a great time. See you next time. 😃

Delicious food in a beautiful relaxing environment. No traffic pollution. Lovely warm welcome and great service. Dog friendly . Will definitely visit again. Had a little walk around snd their glamp pods look amazing. Plenty of space between each plot.

Excellent coffee served with a smile. We took the opportunity to peruse the restaurant menus and promised ourselves a return visit for a meal.

I do not cook at all when The Penny Black is open ! I feel really sorry for cafes and restaurants like this ! It's not their fault that they are unable to open up at the moment still ! The Post office is an integral part of the Burry Port community and as such will have struggled to retain their loyal clientele! Not everyone is,driven by price but as I intend to eat there 3 or 4 times a week , still, I'm very grateful that the prices are priced really realistically , as I'm single and only on my works pension, still ! Lol x Thanks for all the care the staff gave given me since moving to Burry Port/ Pembrey. South Wales. Th

Only came across this hidden cafe with a community spirited hostess on our way back to South Wales & were smitten by how friendly and accommodating they were. If anyone in your group has a hidden need, for example avoiding cafes with a cabinet full of coca cola cans, Croes y Ceiliog at Llanwrda has the solution, making you feel like a family member. Their tasty home made food too = return visit a definite!
