Only found out that Meze and Arroy Thai were in the same place now. Small and comfortable we had a great welcome from the manager. Ordered the Jumbo Meze which was a mountain of food together with a “party Susan “of dips. Everything was excellent, washed down with a not too expensive bottle of red. Greek food at its best

4 of us ate here last night and the food was excellent. We’ve eaten from the Thai menu here many times, but this was the first time from the Greek menu. Two of us shared the vegetarian hot meze starter which offered a lovely tasty selection, and it was quite large too. All four of us agreed that our main meals were delicious and very filling. There’s no need to travel out of town to a Greek restaurant, with a place of this quality on your doorstep. I really couldn’t fault it.

Food was reasonable,wish the scewer dishes were advertised with chips,as I would have ordered greek hand cooked chips that were a little undercooked,and not needed

Order arrived within timescale. Unfortunately cold soggy chips. Cold gyros. Definitely not traditional Turkish sausage. No garlic on garlic bread. Tzatziki like feta cheese. Chicken over seasoned with salt. Very Disappointed for the money. Quite unsatisfactory

I'd love to discuss the food but I never saw any. Pre ordered at 5pm for a 7.30 deliver. It didn't arrive so called but the number was out of order. I drove down to find the order was just sat there. Staff not very helpful telling me I was in the wrong for pre booking and it could be cooked in half an hour. Poor attitude from staff/ owners

This was the first time we had visited the Meze since lockdown for my mums birthday. The booking system was quick and I got an email back within 30mins of booking reservations. On this occasion the Thai part of restaurant and the Greek part were combined. This wasn’t an issue and we were able to order what we wanted. They had a good selection of alcoholic drinks and we were all able to order what we wanted. The food was unbelievable, I will be the first to say I wanted to venture into liverpool as normally that standard of food is much better, I couldn’t have been more wrong! Ten small settings give it a family feel and we all left feeling well catered for. We had the combo started which was absolutely huge and came with an array of dips, olives and mushroom. We then moved on to our mains and had a selection of Gyros and kebabs. The owner and chef both visited our table to check on us and that was lovely touch. If you want authentic Greek food with home cook family feel this the place for you! We will see you again soon!

5 of us came for a family supper. Booked on the day. We had previously always eaten from the Thai menu - which is also fab! Staff are so welcoming and helpful, lovely atmosphere and look like they really enjoy working there - makes a difference! Lots of choice, even for vegetarians. The cheese & courgette croquettes starter was really good. The vegetarian moussaka & Gyros too. Recommend the Thai draught beer. We'll be back! Thanks for a great dining experience

This by far the worst takeaway I have had in years ! Overpriced and poor quality. How can you get garlic bread wrong? It was stone cold and the cheese on top was like rubber, took one bite and straight in the bin. The wraps were tiny, delivered cold, the chips were limp from were they had sweated in the foil bag. Complained and not a hint of a refund, completely ruined our Saturday night.

Visited the restaurant last week with my husband. We’d last visited in February 2020 just before we locked down. Our last visit was incredible, this visit was OK. For starter we shared the mushrooms which were swimming in oil, served with a pitta. For my main course I had pork gyros which was just ok. My husband had steak which I know is not authentically Greek- the steak was cooked as requested. I’m not sure how ‘Greek’ the food is having been to Greece several times and after eating at other Greek restaurants within local proximity. I don’t think we’d go back.

We booked a table at The Meze on Saturday. On arrival staff were very friendly and polite, we asked if they did a children's menu which they did. Waiter took our food and drink order, starters came put very fast Halloumi and salad was amazing, kids well enjoyed there cheesy garlic bread, our main meals were fantastic didn't have to wait for anything. Really good size portions everyone stuffed, would definitely recommend The Meze

Fab food at reasonable price. Pic is of the kleftico psiton and its a huge portion. Myself and hubbie only managed bread and dips to share and a main each. He had the stifado and we got a bowl of chips to share. We were both stuffed and had no room for a pudding unfortunately. Will be back again. Drinks also pretty reasonable and draught crystal lager was good and fresh which is not always the way with restaurants.

Dined at The Mezze Restaurant last night with my husband, we were not planning on a Greek meal but when we went past and seen it open we just had to try it and OMG im so so pleased that we did, they have a new chef who although is not Greek in origin must have Yammas running through his blood as it was one of the best Greek meals we've ever had, the food was not just tasty with all the herbs and aromatics of the Greek food we enjoy it was also presented like a work of art, we were served by Michael who couldn't of been more attentive and also got to meet the owner who lavished us with extra Turkish delight, the chicken skordo was so rich, flavoursome and tender and my husbands Lamb kebab was to die for, the Mezze rice took me straight back to our honeymoon in Cyprus, cant wait to dine again, thanks team Mezze for an absolutely wonderful night.

We have just had an excellent meal at the Meze Restuarant in Widnes. The new chef is excellent and all our meals came out quickly and were delicious. We are so glad that you have opened again as we have missed your food. You looked after us during lockdown with your delivery service and it’s such a pleasure now to sit in a comfortable Restuarant having a lovely meal. Well done, we will certainly be back very soon.
