What a lovely gem 💎 .... we were literally looking for a place to have a quick lunch just before our booking for a house viewing. We eat on a "rush" but we are definitely going back to there again . The food was so good 🤩

Very disappointed by what we got. Ordered the halloumi and were given 4 pieces of cheese, and hardly any lettuce. And what lettuce was given looked incredibly sad. Not worth the £7 spent. Will not be going back.

I paid £7 for a halloumi starter and this is what I got. The halloumi was well cooked, but I got 4 pieces and nothing else. I didn't touch the lettuce which was browning and wilted. Didn't come with the bread or molasses as advertised.

Very good Turkish food, but very small congested with ver rude and weird staff.

The most ripped off I’ve ever felt after a take away, 22 pounds for a box of food for 2 which couldn’t feed one. Burnt halloumi, soggy chips, rubbery calamari, 40 pounds for a terrible meal which was tiny!

Nice tasting food, albeit overpriced. Also drinks aren't cheap. Pleasant enough but not enough to justify the high prices.

We invited our guests for the dinner to the Mediterranean. The food was awful, ambience and service poor quality. We used to go the that place while back, and were very disappointed. I couldn’t sleep all night from the upset stomach after the dinner. The day and a special occasion spoiled.

Literally the best kebab you can get in Norwich, the lamb is a winner!

Lately the food has been overcooked- so we thought we would give tonight another go , as soon we walked in we requested moist chicken wings and they turned up burnt. I mentioned it to the female owner and she asked me to turn around the chicken wing to see what the other side looks like , as if it matters if the other side is not burnt - then she was going on about some people wanted well done and some people want it medium. On a chicken ?shame as you lost us as customers big time! REALLY POOR HANDLING FROM THE OWNERS!!

The service on the day I went was very chaotic. We had made a reservation prior but the waiter that day couldn’t find it when we got there. We waited about 20 minutes before we were finally given seats. The food took about 45 minutes + to arrive. We enjoyed the pita bread and some of the starters. The main was a mix of meats and rice. Some of lamb chops were a bit too salty but when paired with the rice, it didn’t taste as bad. We enjoyed the other meats and generally had a pleasant evening. I think the service can be better especially during peak hours like when we visited. Nonetheless, not a bad spot for Turkish cuisine.

Definitely enjoyed the food, highly recommended, will come back again.

I'm a regular customer of this place but it.s getting worse and worse...food is OK..the service is very bad and there are some ediots they stay there sometimes they Don.t show any respect to customers they listen to music and watching reels on their phone with loud volume...it.s not the place to have a quality time with family and it doesn't deserve to spend all that money to fine ppl like that...I complained to the owner but he doesn't give a dump...

Eaten here many times now. Not flash but excellent food. The lamb ribs are to die for. Not expensive.

I’m really disappointed as we’ve previously had a great experience. We were told upon arriving that they were accepting takeaway only. We deliberated and decided to take away. Then a family walked in and the waiter decided he had the time wrong and we could sit down. Starter ok and food arrived in good time but then the main arrived. I ordered mixed kebab and was expecting a lot more for the price. I felt thoroughly ripped off. Won’t be rushing back unfortunately.

Mediocre at best… Food not well cooked, very small portions for Mixed shish (not enough for a child) and so expensive for the position size. Food taste is really mediocre or less. I would never recommend…

The lamb was really nice, but I didn't like the rest of my meal. The staff were not friendly. To be honest, we didn't have reservations, maybe that's the reason.

What a disappointment. We visited the Mediterranean on Saturday evening, October 28th, first time in years. We were really looking forward to our meal out, knowing it used to be absolutely fab. Oh dear, how mistaken we were. The service wasn’t good, cocktails were served from some ready made up bottles. The whole place was a bit run down, lights weren’t working in the bar area (making it harder to find our cocktails). We thought, well it happens, maybe new personnel… Now food. We had asked the waitress about two dishes we were about to order. The way it was explained to us had nothing to do with the mains we had received. I couldn’t even eat my lamb meal. Hard, chewy, sinking in tomato sauce with no flavour. Just bad. The other lady who has been working there for years was informed that the food wasn’t up to anyone’s expectations and all we needed was the bill. She decided to ignore us even though the place wasn’t busy, I reckon because we didn’t like the food? We paid the bill in full and left the place. I will never visit the restaurant again or recommend to friends. Very disappointing experience.

The food is over-exaggerated and the service can be very underwhelming at times especially during weekends. There was an incident when me and my family had to wait an obscene quantity if time (roughly 20 minutes) for our food, having to remind them constantly what we ordered. A positive I would mention is the quality if the food as I can say that the flavours feel authentic and agree together. Although, the food can be excessively salted, making it displeasing to eat. Moreover, the food is not all that special and does not standout out a lot.

Wow....the food is authentic and tastes amazing. The staff are so friendly and give recommendations of the food. Complimentary dips and bread were given to us while we waited for our food and an authentic pudding to share at the end of our meal.The Authentic music in background along the smell of the charcoal burner cooking the food all adds to the atmosphere. I shall definitely be returning.

Food was delicious and my friend loved it, however I came home with food poisoning after having the handmade lamb dish (not sure if it was from the salad)

Probably one of the worst Turkish restaurant i been to food was tasteless the bread was just like scraps cut into small pieces and the baklava was freezer burnt from sitting in freezer for god knows how long

The quality of the food is exception for anyone who likes med food, and as good as any I have eaten in Turkey. Great size portions, salad, fresh bread and a lovely tzaziki. Excellent food as usual, prices have hardly changed despite inflation. Prices are still very reasonable and the food was very tasty.

I love their Adana Kebab but I strongly suggest other dishes like Lamb Ribs, mouth watering.

Had a very bad experience here. The waitress was slow and hardly spoke to us, no eye contact or smile. Had to wait a long time for starters and then around an hour for mains. When the mains came, the waitress didn't remove the plates from the table, but tried to fit everything at the same time. The restaurant was almost empty and we saw restaurant staff run from the kitchen to the front and back. The food was mediocre at best and very overpriced. Will not be returning.

Used to be my fav turkish takeway, untill tonight. Stale bread, humus very basic and charged for extra pots of garlica amd chilli sauce but didn't supply. Higly dissaponted.

Firstly there is pretty much no welcome when you enter this place, almost as if you walked into someones house randomly and they stare at you like, why are you in here?? Then you given your menus and you make your order. You will get some bread and some yoghurt stuff that has no taste. The main was very salty, it must be their favourite as everything was just so salty. The orange rice was not fresh so didn't eat much of that. The main also didn't taste as nice as other Turkish places, i think this is perhaps one of the worst i have ever been.. definitely towards the bottom of the pile. The service is awful too, there is no warmth or welcoming feel. Overall i would not recommend and would not come back.

Food was alright a bit salty but cooked well. The low stars are mainly because the service was really poor and the waitress did not seem very pleasant. Felt very uncomfortable to ask for anything. When we asked for a takeaway box the lady put the box on top of the food and didn’t even give us a bag. Not one smile throughout the dinner. Considering how much we paid they could have provided a better service. We went to Mr. Mangal for desserts and the service was a lot better there. Would not come again.

BBQ given by me 4 out of 10. Not that tasty I will not probably come again.

The best Turkish food this side of the Bosphorus. Authentic, tasty food. The bread and dips incredible and a truly fabulous menu of Turkish delights. Staff and friendly, service is good, atmosphere great. Highly recommended.

Great place to eat, reasonably priced to. Food can be seen being cooked. Went for Lamb Shish with rice and salad, extra yoghurt. Very tasty! 😋 Definitely recommend.

5 out of 5, My brother in law told me to try this out. If you love real flame grilled meats and really tasty kebabs then you will love this place. The price was lower than larger restaurants really good value, I will certainly be going again.

This is the hidden gem 💎 for grilled food around this area. There are many other restaurants, but cannot beat them with deliciously flavoured and soft meats. Atmosphere of this restaurants is very quiet and relaxing, but never get delayed for food to be ready.

Ohh so good so taste, Lamb with tomato sos as soup and that yogurt on top. Bread and sos was that good that I have half of it before main ;) Just for 14£! Just 2£ tip but always something. Amazing taste that was good experience!!

There really aren't any good quality Turkish/Greek restaurants in Norwich. This is the only one and I've been looking for years. The food is good. The doner meat is proper meat, not squished together chicken feet and cattle anuses. They have a proper charcoal grill too, the shish must be amazing so I'll try that next time. We had two lamb doners to takeaway... it comes with a little salad in a box, lots of Turkish bread and some garlic and chilli sauce. Very unusually it also comes with rice. They're £12 each which is a little pricey for a lamb doner but you're getting so much more, and everything is more expensive now... it is totally worth it. The portion was excellent and we really enjoyed everything we had. It really is the best kebab in Norwich. The restaurant itself isn't particularly pretty so if you're into fine dining it's probably not your scene but the staff are genuinely very friendly, seems like a family run place. The bread comes chopped up, would be nice to get the option of having some whole Turkish breads or some pitta to make it all into kebabs when we got home, it probably is if you ask though. This is now my go to place for takeaway when I'm in Norfolk!

I came here for dinner after a few drinks watching Rugby, I felt like coming here because I hadn't had Turkish food in such a long time and after my experience here it was definitely worth the wait! I had Hummus, Mixed olives, Lamacun and Mixed Shish and the food was absolutely incredible. One of the best meals out I've had in a long time. Reasonably priced with good portions and very friendly service from the waitress and the owners themselves. Will return without question!

Divine! Hadn't had Turkish food in so long and it was worth the wait having a feast here

Crispy skin on beautifully cooked sea bass made soggy by bloody beetroot salad packed in the same box not to mind that the sea bass was unprepared and had both eyes, a tail and two fins. It took so long to eat while being careful of the fish bones that the hot delivered fish was stone cold halfway through. Disgusting to see, unpleasant to eat.

My favourite eatery. Eat in, collect or get delivered fantastic tasty foods. The meat quality is superb!! Can I get a loyalty card please!?

Amazing portion sizes and great flavours

I wouldn't reccomend it , do not waist your money . Unfriendly, rude and ill mannered waitress. They are only good at being dismissive and saying no to any thing you ask for. If I could rate without star , I would give it Zero star.

Food and service was excellent. Friends had recommended this place after having takeaways from here, so we decided to give it a go in person.

Hands down, best Turkish food in London! Their lamb kebab is scrumptious and staff is very friendly. They have quick service and comes with all the Turkish delicacies like pickles, hummus, yogurt, samurkh! They serve Turkish tea too, a cherry on the top!

Excellent service as walk-in customers we were quickly seated with menus and drinks I decided to have Levrek (sea bass) as a break from the normal lamb shish and wasnt dissapointed it was well seasoned and well cooked my partner had her favourite chicken shish our friends had lambe chops and chicken wings, the accompanying rice couscous, salad, flat breads and dips were all greatly recieved and enjoyed

Horrible experience. Arrived with my family and had to leave without ordering because how awful the service was. Firstly when we walked in, my husband was holding a water bottle, as we had been walking a while & the waiter told us we can’t have that at the table (the restaurant was empty, we were the only customers). Next, we were about to order the food & asked if we can change the rice to chips for our mains, as we have done in many many Turkish places we have eaten before. The waiter refused and overall just had a dismissive manner. It seemed as if he didn’t want to serve us and did not care. At this point we informed the waiter we were leaving & he smirked, as if he was glad we weren’t staying.

The waiter is very rude, didn’t allow us to have a water bottle in the restaurant, if it was a bottle of coke understandable, but water… really, very disappointing, rude waiters everywhere, they was giving me and my family dirty looks.

We ordered a takeaway online for collection. Ready and waiting when I arrived. Great size portions of Adana kebab rice wheat salad sauces and excellent bread. We also ordered baclava which again was a very generous portion. Thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you.

Visited this lovely Turkish Restaurant in Norwich whilst visiting . Had the mixed sheesh which consisted of a chicken sheesh a lamb Shish and a portion of rice . Portion size was slightly smaller than I expected , however the quality of the food was top notch . Would definitely recommend to family and friends .

One of the best restaurants in Norwich! Incredibly delicious food, great pricing, and some of the loveliest owners ever. The Paca soup and lamb kebab go hand in hand, and their bread is very well made. So addicting and would 100% recommend!!

Truly awful food, and I would like a full refund. I ordered hallumi, bread, extra bread, Sigara boregi and hummus. My Sigara boregi was raw, the dough wasn’t deep fried or cooked at all and I could see the raw sheets of dough when I pulled it apart. The hallumi was also barely cooked and cold upon arrival. The bread was hard and had clearly only just been heated up, and the hummus was extremely bland. I had to season it myself with smoked paprika, sumac and salt for it to be edible. I have covid and therefore am isolating and thought I’d treat myself to a take away and it was anything but a treat. My boyfriend tried to arrange a refund over the phone with the restaurant as I cannot speak due to loosing my voice to covid, and the restaurant were extremely unhelpful and would only give me a refund if all of the food was untouched which is a ridiculous request as I had to try the food, and ate some of it as I was hungry and exhausted. Definitely will not be buying from here again!!!
