Handmade canapés would have been nice. Veg with main course was bland. Nice place though. 👍

Food was fine, you would expect no less. Service friendly but a bit casual. Atmosphere a bit lacking and bland interiors.

We got taken to our table ordered drinks and waited for over five minutes for them. We ordered from the ala carte menu only to find out that one of the starters was sold out. The main that we both had was steak it was small but tasty,the fries was crunchy and oily some had potato in them,the salad... sorry I meant the water cress and lettuce wouldn't have filled a tea cup. The dessert was lovely, chocolate and cherry roulade, Wine was good. Service seemed to take ages, I asked the waiter for another drink but he didn't hear me as he walked past our table,it was the table behind us that alerted him that we needed service, Nice ambience, very clean and tidy but sadly we won't go there again,we might try the restaurant downstairs which is called canaries. Maybe because it was a match day and they beat Cardiff 4-1 that we found that it wasn't to our expectations.

I visited Delia’s for a Christmas meal, and not only was the food delightful, but the service from the staff was truly exceptional. Awen, in particular, displayed an incredible level of hospitality. When my colleagues and I expressed interest in the pitch-side boxes, Awen effortlessly guided us there, patiently addressing all our inquiries. A heartfelt thank you to Awen for making our experience memorable with such outstanding service. :)

Great service with above average food, but nothing exciting. The canapés were good and the mince pies and chocolates were delicious. Souflle was very nice, beef en croute was OK, triffle was OK. The service was exceptionally attentive and never rushed. We will be back.

Great things - -Staff are great - relaxed, friendly, slick and professional - Food is great -Drinks - including wine - well priced - No service charge - so means more likely to leave a good tip! - Personal card from Delia - classy! Thoughts - - The restaurant knew we are vegetarian - we were brought mini sausage rolls and olives while looking at the menu. We reminded the member of staff that we are vegetarian- she took the plate away, removed the sausage rolls then came back with the same plate only containing the olives. In the scheme of things no drama - but not five star service! - I know this is just an opinion - but it is all a bit beige. The majority of the guests are older beige provincials, the music is piped piano and the decor is a bit dull.

As ever, we enjoyed a lovely evening at Delia's. It's a joy to eat in a quiet, sophisticated atmosphere with first class service and attention to every detail that keeps patrons feeling very relaxed. The staff are obviously very well trained in all aspects of service and hospitality The food is beautifully cooked and presented, although personally, I found the present menu a little limited this time as I don't like cooked cream which featured in a lot of dishes. However, everything we chose was a joy to eat. Unfortunately, we can't visit as often as we would like, but it is our first choice for special occasions. If only more restaurants aspired to the high standards of Delia's. Keep up the great work.

Service was friendly and helpful and the menu was such a lovely variety of nostalgic and modern. Wine was devine as well as the food and we had a very lovely evening

Another outstanding evening at DELIAS. The staff are very friendly and happy to help and they all seem to really enjoy their work. The food was absolutely amazing full of flavour and we'll presented. We even got a signed card as it was our anniversary (another one to the collection)

This is an inexpensive fine dining restaurant especially for catching up with friends whom you haven’t seen for a long time. When I visited another fine dining restaurant somebody recommended the duck. I ordered it and wasn’t disappointed. The summer pudding was also very good.

What a lovely restaurant. Staff extremely friendly and always on hand but not intrusive. The food was excellent and very good value. No service charge automatically added to the bill which is very rare these days which I thought was great. Would definitely return again .

Went for a long awaited meal here for a variety of family celebrations. Found the atmosphere to be really great - top level service but relaxed at the same time. All the staff friendly and attentive. Also plenty of people here for the evening but the restaurant was not overly noisy. Top level food and drink. I could barely move by the end of it. Really enjoyed the visit here and would definitely return for another occasion.

The service and the food were absolutely superb. We were looked after so well and Michelle was brilliant, picking some great wines for us to have with our meal, she was also very informative and happy to chat with us about the various wines. It was also exceptionally good value in comparison to other restaurants of this type in the area. We will certainly be going again soon

Every last mouthful of food was delicious. Limited menu but this encouraged me to try new things. Never have I experienced better service from the moment we walked in and I have been lucky enough to dine in many top restaurants in London. Our second visit but I hope for many more.

Shocked at the low quality food for the money, if i'd wanted tinned peas and potatoes i would have stayed home. Was made unwell by the beer, if they have ever cleaned a line i'd be surprised. Heavly regretting the visit. The staff were lovely, really are a credit to the place because the food sure isnt.

I have eaten at many high class establishments. Several of which "trade on their name" - this is definately not one of them. I have also seen a comment as regards the protions being a decent size - this is 100% correct. The meal was very good value for money. We had a large group of 20 across 2 tables - we had ordered in advance - faultless service - hot to table. One point is that one of our party noted it was the first restaurnat he had been to where he could talk to felllow guests with out all the background noise as it was lovely a spcious venue. Would go again.

We worship Delia so definitely fans of her cooking and books etc. Service and staff were superbly trained and very friendly. Really, really impressed. Food was good and certainly for the price fine but did not wow me, perhaps my expectations were too high and had I expected good wholesome grub, somewhere anonymous I would have been very happy. Overall a very good experience definitely liked it and definitely worth it.

We went for dinner as a family and having grown up with Delia so wanted this to be such a superb experience. Unfortunately we were left with a bitter taste…. Whilst starters, french onion soup & soufflé, were fabulous, the duck main (£5 supplement) was disappointingly tough and my wife’s smoked haddock main was over salty. When it came to dessert my wife didn’t want one but we were told that it was a 3 course set dinner and we would be charged regardless. Despite the food waste, she was encouraged to try something that she really didn’t want and hardly touched. The front of house manager flatly refused to flex. On paying over £70 per head we expected so much more from you Delia.

Really good food, well priced and excellent service. The room is a little bit multi purpose, but given the price that's no issue at all really. The food was tasty, menu changes every month and reads really well. The staff were really friendly and up for a bit of a chat or banter. Recommended!

Had my work Christmas party booked here, we went for the traditional Christmas party. Expecting high things at such a prestigious establishment, sadly let down. Was told to arrive for 7pm, with food served at 7.30pm and disco to begin at 9pm. Didn't recieve bread until 8.15pm, starter served at 9pm with mains at 9.30pm and dessert not served until 10.20pm. As a result food was warm at best, having being left out on a hot plate. Having paid £50 a ticket, and with my work placing meant to be in a partnership and a key sponsor of Norwich City Football Club, I and the rest of our two tables was disappointed. When the food was coming out, waiting staff were running round like headless chickens, asking if we had ordered the food from the menu, rather than having taken a pre order. The bar prices were inflated, with staff that didn't seem capable of pouring a pint.

Went to Delia's to spoil ourselves. It is an amazing place for any occasion. The food and wine was lovely, the staff were so professional. A memorable evening. Worth every penny

Traditional, elegant & refined mostly. The menu could be varied more (seems the same every xmas), & the staff a little inexperienced on occasion.

Great food, nice portion size which is unusual these days with pay more and get less, great staff and enough of them no one felt pressured. Had a few meals lately not HERE that I’ve felt overcharged and under fed. But here it’s good value for your money. Parking non match days is close by and free. It was nice to find somewhere locally, my partner that’s a chef didn’t find a problem with. In itself an achievement.

Lots of parking, exemplary service right from the moment we arrived; naturally the food was fantastic (can you tell I'm a fan) , the atmosphere warm and welcoming. Fixed price menu so eminently affordable. What's not to like.

Impressed! That’s the first word that comes to mind. From the greeting, to the decor and eventually the food. Just impressive. When I saw it was in the stadium, I hesitated for you see, it was a special occasion if you catch my drift 😉. Needless to say, all were pleased and well fed by the time the night was through. I have always been a fan of Delias cookery books so I was really looking forward to the meal at her restaurant. The room is light and airy, staff are attentive and the food was acceptable. I had duck which was very tender but the skin was soft and fatty rather than crispy, and I think a little jus was needed, the fish souffle was tasty and the ginger ice cream was creamy. However this food was certainly not outstanding. We also waited for an hour from entering the restaurant until receiving any food and then only after complaining. There seems to be more people in charge than serving? All staff however were very polite and apologetic. We were given a free after dinner drink to make up for our long wait. The following night we ate at the Cotes Brasserie(chain) in the city which was two thirds of the price, much tastier and far more professional in their service.

I don’t believe that I have had such great service in a restaurant for some years. Staff are friendly, chatty and helpful. Food is cooked perfectly and you feel Delia’s presence. They make sure that this is a restaurant that you will remember even if you’ve only had the very tasty steak and brilliant chips. We had an anniversary meal here last night. It was the first time we had eaten here. I was slightly surprised that there was no à la carte menu as normally we wouldn't eat three courses but it wasn't a problem for us in the end The service was exceptional and subtle. We appreciated the care and attention shown. No doubt we will return.
