The Meat Shack in Shepway

I stopped on Sunday with my little girl. Her favourite thing is Mac and Cheese and we were excited to try this after a chilly walk on a beautiful sunny day. The lady who served us was really pleasant and friendly. As we were the only customers, the plain mac and cheese was served quickly. The portion size was decent but as soon as we took the first bite, we both agreed it was awful and threw it on the bin. The pasta was really overcooked. The sauce was really horrible, bland and nothing at all like mac and cheese. Definitely won't be back as its quite expensive, £8 for plain mac and cheese. Worth it if delicious, this sadly was not.

The portion size although looks small but after eating it I was full. The prices were reasonable for the amount of food served

Outstanding food I had mac and cheese with all the meat my husband had loaded chips all of it was mouthwatering can't wait to come back the staff were lovely too really nice people can't believe how filling it was 😋😋😋

Absolutely Incredible. Best smoked brisket with chips and gravy ever. It worthy of a Michelin star. If your in are traveling to Dover it's worth a stop. Brilliant price's.

Delicious food, little to no wait time, get there early so as not to miss out on your first choice of meat! The owner was very friendly and offered us our food for free as he was finishing for the day.

1st time we've eaten here & it definitely won't be the last as food is great we had the meaty chips which consisted of chips with slow cooked lamb on top smothered with the best gravy I've tasted whilst eating out my grandson had the meaty burgers with chips again 😋 as I said earlier we will be back

Really disappointed. Stood in a fairly long queue looking forward to the meaty buns only to be told they’d ‘run out of meat’. Got three hotdogs as that’s all they had which were microwaved supermarket buns and tepid supermarket hotdogs for £5 or £6 each.
