I was down from Scotland for a friend's funeral,after that we went to meadows as there was a buffet layed on,the bar staff were excellent,the prices very good,and the manager or landlady who was on was brilliant and very helpful,she put down the ramp so my mate could get his electric wheelchair in,so I would recommend this this bar to anyone from hull,who would like to party or to visit after a funeral,all round 10 out of 10..wm

My friends had there daughters 3rd birthday party in there not that you could tell it was a pub as was done out perfectly ,good space for bouncy castle outside great day ! Thank you

The Meadows pub (formally the swallow), is an estate pub a large car park and plenty of outside seating. It has a large games room with a darts board and a full size snooker table. The bar has a pool table and darts board a nice comfortable room decorated with loads football shirts. It has the usual range of beers including John Smith's bitter, sadly no hand pulled real ale. A nice friendly community pub.

food was brill good fish and chips

Lovely fish and chips from here today, ordered for takeout .....haddock was lovely and fresh and meal was boxed well. Homemade patties was delicious too 😋Would definitely recommend and will be ordering again. Great for those who don't like traditional with beef dripping too like myself. Staff are lovely and friendly too, A nice local pub with lovely home cooked food.

To add to my previous Meadows pub review,we visited this pub on Sunday for father's Day dinner which we really enjoyed,on Monday they had the decency to phone my wife to inform her that they had overcharged her and if she could call in and collect the overcharge ,(£12).Pity a few more places don't do the same.PROUD of you Meadows.

Very friendly good food highly recomend to friends

Went for a sunday roast wow very tasty everything home cooked.Nice atmosphere and very clean. Staff attentive even though they were run their feet. Def go again :-)

The food here is always delicious we visit regular, cooked fresh and always hot and good portion sizes. Great for gluten free ceoliac mains and deserts available just ask, my daughter said the curry and ice cream was amazing.

Can’t believe how much this place has changed I used to use this place many years ago when it was named the swallow then after that it seemed to attract trouble makers and was in desperate need of a makeover and to my surprise it’s totally changed and for the better too food it well presented and hot and reasonably prices the place is very clean would visit again well done to the owners and staff

Desde este lugar, ha vuelto a abrir sus puertas que hemos venido aquí a menudo, ya que la comida es de primera categoría y a un precio estupendo. El personal es fantástico y muy educado.Lo único que decepciona en este lugar es el hecho de que cambia su menú y horario que mucho que nunca sabes si es abierto y qué comida sirven!Pero independientemente de eso, lo que a siempre es muy bonito

Sólo tuvimos una comida muy agradable en los prados, no había estado en el pub durante muchos años fue llamado el Swallow pub en aquellos días. Tengo que decir que no reconoce el lugar estaba la renovación espectacular tiene el ambiente de un gastro pub, el menú es muy barato no me importa pagar más por la excelente comida que tuve. Todo lo que faltaba para mí era una lista de vinos que no significan nada excesivo, pero quizás la opción de color rojo o blanco. El personal era muy amable, sin duda volveré felicidades al equipo de gestión.
