Lovely local pub. Good beer and great food. We had a delicious lunch here and came back for an evening meal.

Went for a meal with some friends , we all chose different meals and the food was fabulous. Lovely friendly atmosphere and great to be able to take your dog…friendly staff and very relaxed.

Great home cooked meals. The service was also great. We had Sunday dinner here, along with Bangors and Mash. Both meals were excellent. Nice selection of beers and ales.

We have just had a weeks holiday in Mickleton and discovered this little gem of a place just a few miles away early on in our stay . We do like to vary our eating haunts but we were so impressed by The Masons Arms we ended up dining there three times . The pub is dog friendly and very welcoming. We enjoyed everything from pizza , steak , roast dinner and possibly the best burgers we have ever eaten . Puddings were also superb. Prices were extremely reasonable with great portion sizes to match while the bar stocked a good array of drinks . Thanks to all the staff , if we ever pass through again , we will definitely be popping in again . Highly recommend.

We were in the area and looked at TripAdvisor, as we always look at what is rated highly ... As you would expect very dark, and old worldy inside. However the snail trails on the carpet put me off a bit. Loved all the gin bottles used as lights. Nice friendly staff, tables were clean. Basic menu. OK pub grub, good for a pit stop. But nothing to shout about. Minimal toppings on the pizzas and swimming in cheese

What an absolute gem. Fantastic food, extensive menu and everything on it was delicious - 22 of us so we had quite a selection. We were all really impressed. Thank you for a lovely lunch

We had lunch and an evening meal here. The following day we sat in the garden for drinks. Go hungry, the portions are huge. My husband was beaten by the burger calzone but it was yummy. A cracking country pub. A nice atmosphere and good beer too.

Feel so lucky to have such an amazing pub right round the corner from us! Amazing atmosphere! Well priced drinks and delicious food (especially the Sunday roast - which you can also )! They also really go the extra mile on special occasions! This year they had an 80s party, a celebration for the queens jubilee, fireworks night and the most amazing Christmas lights switch on. Will forever be a regular and loyal customer here!

We’ve recently moved back into the area having lived in Stratford Upon Avon for a number of years. I’m very much aware of and used to “Stratford prices” today however has absolutely flabbergasted me! Took a nice walk and cycle into Long Marston. I’ve never been into the Masons Arms but I’ve been told it’s nice. We opted to sit outside, it was dry and we didn’t want to leave the bike unattended as I forgot the lock! Absolutely beautiful garden, in the summer I bet it’s a delight. I went in and got our drinks, lovely country pub, full of people eating. Bartender quick to serve and polite. This is however where the pros end. I first ordered an ale, the name I forgot. This was poured and then a Diet Coke and glass of milk for my daughter. This were promptly given to me. The ale had gone, no issues I’ll have a Hoegoblin instead which was promptly poured. I had two fivers in my hand expecting it to be under £10….£13.40 the bartender said. In shock I got £20 out and paid but seriously £13.40 for a pint of ale and 2 soft drinks?! I can only hope the manager sees this review and advises it’s incorrect and I was overcharged. If it is correct unfortunately we won’t be going back. Shame as it’s a nice place and we’d happily go in for a drink and meal every so often. So in short - nice place but expensive

Highly recommended pub for a Sunday lunch, plenty to eat and the veg accompaniments were cooked to perfection! One of our table actually said it was the best roast she had had in ages! High praise indeed… if you are passing it’s one to try, excellent value for money and particularly the reduced desert option if you have had a roast, genius idea! They got 5 orders for the sweets!

Had a lovely roast here yesterday. There was plenty of food on the plate and in the side dishes with great service and atmosphere. The beef was really good.

I admit I was a little early. 20 minutes to opening. But seeing doors shut In front of me and told we’re closed didn’t warm me to the venue. I’ve been going to this charming pub for many years on and off. With soaring inflation and prices rising how can they afford to be, well put bluntly, bad mannered

The Pub literally gave me gluten despite me mentioning several times I’m allergic. Luckily I refused to eat it. I went to speak to the waiter and the manager and the waiter was on his phone and just outright said “well I didn’t tell you to put gluten on your plate” despite me asking serval times If the side dish was also gluten free and being told it was. The manager then said “what do you want.” I would have at least expected an apology but they are obviously just lacking in any human decency or communicational skills. I would never recommend this pub and I will be making a formal complaint about the fact they tried to kill me.

Tapas pork bbq was good. Tapas Chicken mint yoghurt was Ok. Blue cheese burger a little sloppy but was very very nice. Ham pie was really nice, definitely homemade.

Lovely evening with a fab Chinese buffet at the Masons tonight for Chinese New year, great atmosphere and a big thanks to Adam Derek and the team 🥂💕X

We spent a night at the masons for Chinese New Year and had a fantastic meal. We was welcomed in with a friendly smile from a very nice bar maid who showed us to our table and took our drinks orders. We was then given a plate and told to help our self to food. The Chinese buffet was fantastic with a grate range off food for all tastes with plenty of flavour. The food was hot and covered up very well so there was no chance of any of it going funny. The pub it’s self on the night was very busy but that said the service we received was great. There was somebody always there to see if you needed a drink and to help you if you needed anything. The place is great for families as the have tables with plenty of space for young children or even for somebody in a wheelchair. The place is always kept very clean and tidy and your always made to feel welcome. We have eaten here on normal days and the food has always been very tasty and hot. The prices are very good for a village pub you get good value for money. There is access for somebody in a wheelchair so they can accommodate for everybody. In general the pub is really good for cheap or pricey meals or just to go in and have a pint or a coffee.

We booked our annual Christmas Party Night at the Mason's and had the set festive menu the food was excellent and piping hot. The staff were attentive and friendly nothing was too much trouble. We had the use of the dining room all night with a disco would definitely recommend the Mason's to anyone looking for a place to hold a function or for a meal in general.

We had our annual Christmas meal here and we all said we would return . The food was fabulous , roast turkey dinner followed by delicious puddings. The atmosphere with the open fire was warm , cosy and welcoming . The staff were lovely and it was an altogether great evening . Thank you to you all and hope to see you early in the new year. Had lunch here - NEVER AGAIN !!!Poor food, poor service, poor heating, bad attitude from staff!!The front of the place looks like an illuminated common theme park. Perhaps the management should understand that less can be more. The decor is so so vile compared to the lovely village the premises are set in, which should have been a warning sign !!!Tbh I wouldn’t have bothered to review this place but I heard over the weekend there was a huge fight in the bar, so I think prospective customers should be warned.

Lunch was not expensive and possibly reasonable value - under £15 per head for two courses excluding drinks.Starter - Pate, the normal stuff, OK but not exceptional.Main - Roast beef. A slice of overcooked, luke warm beef. Accompanied by soggy roast potatoes, reasonable sprouts and parsnips with a Yorkshire pudding. My neighbour chose the turkey slice which looked pretty dried up to me. Some people also received a carrot.Coffee (offered with a mince pie). The mince pie arrived still wrapped in its shop wrapper. Vegan; no milk, flour etc. I complained and was told this was to suit all customers. No apology for serving it on the table still in its plastic!If price is your only consideration, go for it. If you would like an acceptable level of coooking and presentation, look elsewehere.

Excellent Sunday Roast very reasonably priced, and veggie and gluten free options. Staff friendly, service good. Will certainly visit again if in the area.

11 of us went to enjoy their Christmas Lite Lunch Menu. We pre ordered. The food came out perfectly, the plates were hot and we really could not fault them. We will be booking again next year.

We had a fab Saturday afternoon celebrating TJs 70th birthday at the Masons playing skittles and the chef put on two curry's one vegetarian curry and rice with bhajis naan bread and samosas ect the food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and welcoming and a great time was had by everyone. Stopped off for lunch and the place was deserted on a beautiful Saturday lunchtime. The menu was promising but the service at best surly (no excuse given there were more waiters than customers!). The nachos were disappointing - a few crisps with some sauce and cheese thrown on; I could have done better at home. The fish fingers off the kids' menu were awful - solid grey tasteless dry insides with some breadcrumbs outside. I assume they were bulk ordered in (the cheapest fish fingers I've had either from a supermarket or in a restaurant). Either way we won't be eating here again. I can't imagine how it gets 4.5/5 especially given how quiet it is - presumably the locals know better.

We decided to book in for a Sunday lunch however the whole experience was disappointing from the service, the food, the lack of variety for the kids and it was expensive too! Had heard good things about it but won't be visiting again!

Visited on a warm july evening and took the last place in the car park. Sat out front before our meal. Lots of outdoor seating on front and behind the pub. The restaurant is at the back. Went thru to the restaurant and looked at the specials board... a young man then told us that they werent actually on tonight. Didnt tell us where to sit either..so we just guessed. The staff are not very engaging... young man behind the bar being the exception. Could not fault the food at all. The very loud music in the restaurant was not conducive to conversation either. So to sum up good food but a few issues.

Omg been waiting a while to try this place , and what a find . Beautiful gardens, friendly staff and the most amazing Sunday lunch I have ever had. Amazing value for money and the portions were so generous. Living in the Cotswolds we have never found a pub that was such a gem as this place. Booked a table for two at short notice and it was no problem greeted with a warm welcome and given our table straight away,myself and my partner both chose the sunday lunch of the roast beef and I must say it was probably one of the best Sunday meals we have had for a long time.

Friendly locals,delicious food.The Sunday roasts are exceptional,make sure you arrive hungry.This is a perfect example of a community pub.

Family Sunday lunch was to be a special occasion but none of us was particularly impressed with the food, the beef was tough and veg were over cooked. I tried two of the ales which were both average which is a shame as there are some excellent local breweries sorry to say a very ordinary experience, disappointing.

We visited the Mason's Arms on Saturday for a family meal / night out, for the first time.... we'll absolutely be back! The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food simply delicious. It's great to see a pub retaining it's old English charm and not trying to be a trendy ultra modern restaurant. The Mason's Arms is a great blend of tradition, with high quality staff, service and food - Perfect!

Yet another great night in a pub that has it all. It's such a pretty pub and gardens, back and front. The front is a more traditional garden while the rear part decked area has a chilled out watch the sunset vibe. It is very friendly and the food with a new summer menu is great. Well though out mix of something for every mood. Made so special by the people who run it being delightful, professional and so welcoming. The attention to detail and always going the extra mile is subtly brilliant. Relaxed, well fed and happy is what you get when it is done right like this. An absolute gem. Well done!

What a great pub. 12 of us going on a stag do the next day stayed in long marston. They accommodated us in an area where we could still watch the football even tho there was a band on and totally looked after us all night. Food was AMAZING. Thanks so much

Hemos visitado este pub en varias ocasiones para almorzar con un cupón de Groupon. La fuente tradicional mezzes hace un gran almuerzo para dos. Siempre hay una variada selección de. Mezzes que por lo general incluyen Halloumi frito, aceitunas, papas fritas, hummus, pollo, chorizo o Camembert. Siempre es una tabla generosa y variada. El vino de la casa está bien y tienen una buena selección de cervezas. El personal es amable y el servicio es bueno. Tienen un menú variado, que probaremos, y también algunas noches "especiales" interesantes. Hay pantallas de TV en caso de que desee ver los diferentes partidos de Rugby o de fútbol.

We arrived in separate cars all 9 of us and was made most welcome even though we had booked for Saturday lunch. Lovely real ale and we had a mixture of main meals which were all served together. Really impressed with what we had and a lovely experience with the family. Than you and we will return.

We booked a last minute tablet for the Groupon ploughman's lunch. Excellent food. Wonder portions, perfect options. The drinks included are great and you aren't limited to house beverages. The lady behind the bar was fantastic, smiling, customer service and wonderful personality. Thank you to the chef also ! I believe it was Scott and Kerry! Will definitely be back.

My daughter bought a meal at The Masons Arms as a Christmas gift for my partner and I. In order to redeem this I telephoned the pub and pre-booked a table. The meal was a shared Ploughman's platter.

Almuerzo de domingo. Todo estaba bien en lugar de fantástico.

Llamé el lunes para organizar una noche improvisada de bolos de cumpleaños para amigos el miércoles. Lo que comenzó como unas pocas personas se convirtió en 22 de nosotros, incluidos los niños. No puedo criticar nada; Adam fue de gran ayuda en el teléfono y se mostró muy tranquilo al alimentar a muchos de nosotros cuando solo estábamos en la cocina. La comida fue excelente, el servicio fue fantástico, todos pasamos un tiempo genial jugando a los bolos y definitivamente regresaremos. Muchas gracias.

Habiendo visitado algunos desarrollos de vivienda en el área, decidimos probar los Masons Arms para la cena. Ambos elegimos el domingo asado con ternera. La comida llegó rápidamente y me sorprendió gratamente el tamaño de las raciones. Cada parte de la comida estaba buenísimo y era muy agradable. Los dos jóvenes que nos sirvieron fueron muy educados y profesionales. Posiblemente el mejor asado de los domingos que he tenido al comer fuera, una gran visita.

have just move to Stratford upon Avon and found this pub by accident in Long Marsdon and the food is of a high quality freshly cooked and plenty on plate. they have different guest ales,service from staff is very good they also have a small garden at back of pub which has some lovely views

Visited the Masons last night for a bite to eat on way home from work! My partner had the house Caesar salad and I had Gammon chips and salad! My partner quite openly said that it was the best salad she had ever tasted and she had been all over the world trying different types! Well done the Masons! Hidden little gem of Warwickshire!!

We had a lovely Friday afternoon here. We had the ploughman’s platters from Groupon which included a drink it was delicious good selection to choose from. We also had pudding here the cheesecake was extremely tasty. All the staff were friendly & pleasant. If I lived closer I would visit all the time .

Extremely welcoming landlords and staff, the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the staff and locals alike. Great selection of food and drink with very generous portions. Highly recommend this authentic English pub and we shall most definitely be returning!

Where to start. What a fantastic little pub, Shane we only found it the day before leaving. But had a cracking meal here. Burnt ends chilli con carne was very tasty, one of the best we've had. The sweet chilli noodles were as nice. My son who is a very fussy burger eater said that was the best he has ever had. 5* review would give more if given the chance. Ceri was a fantastic waitress coming to check all things were ok and very friendly.... Thabkyou for a fab last night...

We booked in last minute for Sunday lunch, and were really happy... a great little find! Service was lovely, the food was reasonably priced and really tasty! When we couldn’t decide between the 2 meats they gave us the option of both beef and pork which was great! The pork was really delicious as were the roast potatoes! Only thing to point out would be that we could have done with a bit more gravy and we weren’t sure the leaks went with it that well. Other than that it was super, would definitely recommend.

Despite arriving at peak time on one of the hottest Sundays of the year we had a very good experience.

Ate at Mason arms after an enjoyable lunch there previous day. Landlady nice and helpful but returning experience was poor. Food order was incorrect twice, struggled to adapt menu for Gluten free. The following morning 3 out of 4 of us had chronic vomitting and diarrhoea. One meal returned twice as eggs were nearly raw and sausages not cooked enough.

Lunch with the kids. I found the the pub very clean and friendly. Food was fantastic The barmaid was very helpful and polite, fantastic with the children.

We called in just for a lunch time drink when cycling The Greenway, as it is just off the cycle track. It's a nice old traditionally furnished pub, with a garden at the front. They had a good selection of beers and we enjoyed a refreshing drink. We didn't eat, but the menu was standard pub fare.

This is a standard pub in a lovely setting if you sit outdoors. Typical pub menu with nothing special to mention. The service was fine and what you would expect but again I wouldn't especially recommend. Fine if you are nearby, but I wouldn't drive out especially for the food. Staff did well in trying circumstances.
